Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧 Though I am wishing you a prosperous and lucky new year, I’m saddened by how the year of the rabbit has already started off so unlucky for many families in Southern California. Last night a mass shooting occurred in Monterey Park, CA at a ballroom dance studio. I used to go to these types of studios when I was learning how to ballroom dance back in college, and they’re usually frequented by an older Asian immigrant demographic. 10 people killed, 10 injured. Please everyone be safe and tell your family you love them. ♥️ 😔
