Well. It finally happened. They stole my design. Well. It finally happened.

They stole my design.

SHEIN STOLE MY DESIGN.

I wish I could say “I can’t believe it!!!” but actually, I can. I’ve seen numerous videos and articles written about @sheinofficial straight up robbing independent designer’s designs, but guess what? As much as the comments may show sympathy and anger, it’s the dollar that speaks the loudest in the end.

Shein is now worth over $100 BILLION, which to give you some perspective, is more than Zara and H&M COMBINED.

I am so angry that Shein stole my design (numb actually), but I am 100 billion times angrier that a business that runs on robbery is being supported and rewarded like this.

Last night I was relaxing on the couch with @samlivits after dinner, and then he says “omg”. I turn quickly and say “what? WHAT???”

He’s silent for a sec and doesn’t want to show me his phone. But then I see a hint of some black skirt on his screen. I demand him to give his phone to me.

And there it was.

The moment I knew would one day come, but the moment I hadn’t actually prepared for.

Shein stole my @popflex_active Pirouette Skort design. In that moment my heart paused. I didn’t know how to feel. Because…

1) I knew this would happen one day.
2) But then it ACTUALLY happened and I wasn’t ready.
3) On the other hand, I was thinking, is this some twisted rite of fashion designer passage? Like should I be flattered??? But it’s kinda hard to be when you were just robbed in broad daylight.

So how do I feel? I feel like the things that happen in my life, happen for a reason, and as painful as it is – it is now my duty to do something about it.

I spill ALL the tea in my latest blog post on Blogilates.com and let me tell you, it’s piping hot. ☕️ 🫖 Link in stories and bio.

Growing up, there were so many things about my eth Growing up, there were so many things about my ethnicity that made me feel ashamed.

The fact that my parents had an accent.

The fact that my lunch looked and smelled different than my classmates.

The fact that I spoke a different language at home.

All of these things made me feel like an other, an outsider, when all I wanted was to do was blend in with the “real”, “American” kids who could afford to eat lunchables for lunch.

But one of the things I hated most about myself was my last name:

Ho.

It was 6th grade. I remember the snickering in the locker room. Girls talking about my weight. Taunting me about the unshaved hair on my legs and arms. Then the multiple times the popular girls would walk up to me asking me why I was “such a hoe.” TBH, I was so innocent then that I didn’t even understand why they were comparing me to a garden tool.

It wasn’t until my parents moved our family to Union City, CA that everything changed. I remember walking into my first assembly and having a complete culture shock. Everyone had dark hair and dark eyes. They looked like me, talked like me, ate like me, and I didn’t feel like I had to explain anything. It was in high school that I finally allowed myself to embrace my Vietnamese and Chinese cultures, instead of rejecting them.

Today, I carry so much pride behind my name because I’ve fought so hard to prove myself. I feel bad for ever feeling ashamed of my roots. My parents escaped a war torn country in the 70s to give me and my sister an opportunity to succeed, and I wouldn’t be where I am, literally living out my dreams, without their sacrifices.

Although I wish you all a happy Lunar New Year, I’m sad that the the year had to start off the way it did. Last night, a mass shooting in Monterey Park - a predominantly Chinese neighborhood. 10 dead. 10 injured. On what’s supposed to be the happiest celebration of the year for our community. Please stay safe and tell your loved ones you love them.

You: I HATE REMOVEABLE BRA CUPSSSSS!!!! Me: OKAY. You: I HATE REMOVEABLE BRA CUPSSSSS!!!!

Me: OKAY.

Testing out my first sports bralette with no removeable bra cups and I’m curious what you’ll think! I usually don’t mind bra cups because they cover the nips and they give me extra oomph which for my A cups, I appreesh. But I empathize with the twisted cup situation bc FO REAL that’s annoying!

So, depending on how you guys like or don’t like this, it will determine future styles and if @popflex_active makes more of these!

✨Celeste Mesh Bralette✨

✔️ No removeable cups. I used spacer fabric inside the bust area. It’s cushioned and stretchy so it molds to your boobs. It’s like cups but sewn in!
✔️ Contoured underbust seam with darts to match the natural shape of your boobs (cuz comfort duh)
✔️ Longer length to give the feel of a bralette not a traditional sports bra. I love this length bc it stops around the small of your waist and really accentuates your figure.
✔️ high neck with a low neck illusion
✔️ angled armhole for that shoulder pop 💪
✔️ XXS to 3X

This bralette is perf for low impact workouts like Pilates, yoga, barre but also it’s so soooo comfy you could totally lounge in it too.

I’m a 32A so I’m wearing size extra small here!

What do you guys think? Are you a bra cup or no bra cup kinda girlie?

♥️ Cassey

PS: The Celeste is avail right now on popflexactive.com in 3 colors and 9 sizes. Enjoy!
Pancake of the moment 🥞 These were a staple thr Pancake of the moment 🥞 These were a staple throughout my 90 Day Journey to muscle - I mean ✨25g of protein✨, but also, they actually just taste really good! I was salivating as I was editing this 🤤

Here’s the recipe for my Supersculpt Pancakes:

This recipe makes 6 small pancakes like in my video.

▪️2 scoops Blogilates Sculpt + Debloat Protein Powder in Sweet Cream (Chocolate Shake works too) - you can get this at Target 🎯
▪️ 1 TBS tapioca powder (this is the secret ingredient that makes it soft and fluffy! Trusttttttt)
▪️1/3 c liquid egg whites
▪️ 2 TBS water
▪️ 1 tsp baking powder

Calories: 182 | Protein: 25g | Fat: 0g | Carbs: 14g | Fiber: 5g | Net-Carbs: 10g

Every time it’s a winner! Soft, fluffy and full of protein. If you use the exact ingredients above, you will get the pancakes I made. I cannot guarantee that another protein powder will work this way. I’ve made hundreds of protein pancakes throughout my life and many turn our rubbery. Not sure if it’s the whey or what - but the blend of pea and brown rice protein in the Blogilates powder is soooo good for cooking!! Cookability, specifically pancakeability was tested throughout the development process 👩🏻‍🍳 Enjoy!
