How Many Calories Do Blogilates Workouts Burn?

How Many Calories Do Blogilates Workouts Burn?

Hey POPsters!

Wow, I can’t believe I fell asleep blogging 2 nights in a row. That’s why there wasn’t a big post up yesterday! I need to find other places to write other than in my big comfy bed after I brush my teeth and take my contacts out. That’s just a recipe for disaster. (Well, unless you have trouble falling asleep, try it!)

Anyway, so many things to tell you – so let’s get started shall we? First off, you must be lovin’ the title of this post! Yes finally, you can get a specific answer to the ALL TIME question “How many calories does this video burn?” What!!?? Ya, I know! Ridic right!!???

Well, I’ve been working with the peeps over at WeightTraining.com to make this possible and let me tell you…they have amazed me with the turnaround time of this project and how nicely they have executed! And all for us POPsters!

All you need to do is just sign up for a free account at WeightTraining.com – you can even login using your facebook. Then you can start logging your workouts to see how many calories you burn! Right now, we only have the Bikini Blasters up and the POP Song Challenges. We are working on getting a bunch of my fave workout videos on there too! Is there a particular vid you REALLY REALLY want to have included? Could you please comment and tell me so we don’t miss it?

Here are the links to the workouts:

The best way to look up the Bikini workouts now is to search “Bikini Blaster” under workout plans. This is what you’ll come up with:

Pretty neat huh?! So yeah, FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!

And you know, if you choose to do other workouts on other days and not follow any type of plan, you can log how many bicep curls you did at what weight etc. You can log runs! You can log a plank. You can log a pushup. You log a crunch! Everything! Like seriously everything.

I am going to start using this myself so you guys can see what I do when I am at the gym. I think it will be a good way for me to measure my strength training progress.

We are currently working on making a special page with a direct URL so you guys can just come to WeightTraining.com and see all of my videos right away. Because this is an ongoing project, I’d really like to hear what suggestions or ideas you have for the Blogilates videos on WeightTraining.com. Your comments will literally be taken into consideration – their tech team is so on it, it’s insane. I’d say “Hey let’s have the challenges on here!” and BAM like the next day all the challenges were on there!

Go ahead and sign up RIGHT NOW like this very second – browse around – click on everything – check out the giveaways –  follow me there under Blogilates – and tell me what you like or don’t like and what will make your fitness life easier!!! Plus don’t forget to tell me which videos you MUST have on the site so you can know how many calories it burns!

Hope you guys are just as excited as I am! Oh and other quick updates! I actually started teaching at CRUNCH on Sunday and tonight I will be doing a Pilates Mat class at the Polk St. gym in San Francisco!

I am so excited to be a part of the CRUNCH fam because they pay a lot of attention to their group fitness program and I truly appreciate that because my heart lies in teaching! You can see my updated class sched here. I’m also headed to Chicago early next week for a fitness event, so if you see me running around the city, please say hi! I’d love to meet you! It’ll be my first time there!!!

Okay that’s what I have for you today!!! Working on your Bikini Blaster 5 video. If you’re following the June Workout Calendar, then you know what’s up 🙂

Have an inspiring day and go ALL OUT – whatever you do.

<3 Cassey

    1. Sarah-Kate says:

The link doesn’t work, but the website still exists! Just go to exercise.com, click on “plans,” and search for blogilates. A lot of videos will pop up, and you can just click on one and then log the workout. It’s pretty easy from there, and once you log it you can see how many calories you burned. 🙂

    2. Sarah-Kate says:

The link doesn’t work anymore, but the site still exists! Go to exercise.com and create an account. Then search in Plans for Blogilates. A bunch of Cassey’s videos will pop up and you’ll just need to pick one and log it. Then it’ll show you your total calorie burn. 🙂

Hi! I would love it if you put up Legs for Days. I do that everyday and would like to see how much calories you lose a day

    1. I would love the pop Pilates butt for begginers

  10. Brea Mullen says:

I’m not sure how this would be done logistically, but I think it would be awesome to have a calorie count for each day of the monthly workout calendars! Maybe you could put the calorie count in parentheses next to each video title on the calendar itself? Thank you so much!

  11. Illiana says:

It would be helpful if weightlifting.com added the workouts from the calendar either daily or weekly. Would definitely help me in keeping track of calories burned and may increase membership on the website as well. Just made my account and it’s kind of hard to log my workouts from the calendar

  12. tere says:

hello does this still work ?? I couldn’t find the pop workouts on the weightraining webpage …

  13. Mari Woolf says:

    Cassey :(((

I’m having a bit of a low moment – just discovered my actual calorie intake was way above what I thought it was. It’s been going on for ever.
And now I thought I’d cheer myself up by looking up how much tomorrow’s workout will burn and I caaaan’t, because those workouts still aren’t in WeightTraining.com.
I know you have A LOT on your plate with Bodypop and everything but… Can you pleaaaase have a PopIntern log these in or something? Heck I’d love to help myself!
Please please please can we have more details about the calories we burn, I’m sure I’d get a lot of support on this request.
    Loads of love

    Mari

  14. Liz says:

    Hi!

I’m not receiving the calories burned through the website. Can we calculate and put that number directly on your videos? It’d help a lot!

  15. Rosalia says:

I don’t see anywhere were the calories burnt are shown on the weight training website…I have an account on there and all too

  16. Miranda says:

Logging the workouts and still no calories are shown to be burn.

    1. Slavica says:

I have the very same issue of calories not showing. Along with weighttraining.com not being very userfriendly and annoying this is very disappointing. I really wish the paid app version would show calories burned instead of having to log onto yet another fitnesspage…. =(

  17. De'ja says:

Umm Cassey, I’m not able to see the calories for the workouts…

  18. Kuri says:

  26. Caroline G says:

I found this on the self.com website which can custom tailor some of the vidoes (though not Cassy’s). It can give you a rough estimate of how much you are burning. Either way, it’s a great tool. I track my calories burned and taken in on Sparkpeople!

  27. It’s appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it is time to be happy. I have read this post and if I could I want to suggest you few interesting things or advice. Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article. I want to read even more things about it!

All of the 100 and 1000 workouts please & thank you!

  30. emily says:

can you do drive by inner thigh and abs all night please!!

    1. Jordyn says:

I think she should just put a blogilates calorie counter on her website. Then we can type in our weight and workout we did, and then see how many calories we burned. I wanna know how many kcals I burned doing Drive By Inner Thighs too. It makes me sweat like crazy!

  31. Jane says:

Cassey! I cannot view how much calories I’ve burned on weighttraining.com since I found out you have to still pay to view it 🙁 is there another way whatsoever for me to view how much calories I’ve burned? 🙂

  32. Vivian says:

Could you please log as many as these as you can? I can’t seem to work it out. Maybe log the monthly work calendar for us so we know how much we’re burning thanks!

  33. Nadia says:

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to track the challenges! How do I do this?!

    1. Maddie says:

You click on Excercises and find a workout you did, like the Clam Shell, then u click on Log This Workout (or it says something to that extent) then it’ll take u to a new page, click in the search box at the top left, and type in the name of the workout, it should pop up and then log all the workouts u did that day. You have to pay to see ho many calories you’ve burnt though :/

  34. ar says:

you should pair up with myfitnesspal! I want to start doing your workouts (i just found out about them!) but then i have no idea how to log them into MFP! 🙁

    1. Mak says:

Yes please team up with MyFitnessPal! Weighttraining.com is really confusing and time consuming, plus I can’t find all of your workouts on there.

      1. Courtney says:

I agree. I use MyFitnessPal and it would be great to know how many calories I’m burning from you POP workouts

    2. Merissa says:

Yes yes yes please. I am quite overweight and I am using myfitnesspal and your workouts to get healthier and I would love to be able to accurately log my workouts and track everything in one spot. Please at least look into it. Love you and your workouts, I couldn’t stand working out and now I find myself looking forward to it more often than not.

  35. Taylor says:

I went to dashboard and “log a workout” but I can’t find any of yours! I’ve tried typing in SO many different things. I can find other workouts, but none of yours 🙁 I don’t like this website! Way too complicated!!

    1. blogilates says:

click on workout plans and then type in “bikini” and search

      1. Becca24 says:

I tried this right now. It just told me I had to pay $4.99 for the PRO version to log the intense ab challenge. I think they are logging these as “workout plans” rather than “exercises”. I wanted to track the “What makes you Bootyful,” but it is definitely not working.

  36. Wei says:

So do you not know how many calories your burned until after you do the workout or am I missing something?

  37. Annah Rivera says:

Could You Please Put The Drive-by Inner Thigh Challenge.? I Do I Everyday, And Would Love To Know How Much I’m Burning.! Thanks(:

    1. Adriana says:

Yes!! I love that one too!

    2. emma says:

      I love that one too!

  38. katie says:

Can you please do this for the Total Body Bangging Workout? I do that video several times a week..love it !

  39. Nicole says:

Am I the only one who can’t figure out how to add workouts to the workout log.

    1. enearlyn says:

haha, no worries, you are not alone. i had a hard time figuring out how to do it also.
aft u chose to start a plan, then
from the Dashboard, Click “Log a Workout”
->Click “log a different workout” on the left sidebar.
Select the workout you want, (for example, under “bikini blaster workout – part 1”, there is “rotation #1”, click that)
and it will be automatically entered into the logger.
inside the logger, you can adjust the number of sets and reps based on what you actually did. (kinda troublesome, haha)
after that, click “log workout” at the bottom right corner, you’ll then get a full report, including duration, weight, distance, calories and points earned.

    2. laura says:

Nope, im with you, i cant log a workout but for me calories burned doesnt really matter. I try to eat good and I see results from working out; muscle tone, fat loss, etc. As long as I feel toned and strong I feel great!

    3. If you go to your “Dashboard”, you will be able to “Log a Workout” from there. Once you log a workout, you will see the amount of calories you burned in the workout summary. Let us know if you need any help. We are here for you! 🙂

    1. Tori says:

Stupid of me that is lol

    2. Hi Tori,

If you go to your “Dashboard”, you will be able to “Log a Workout”. Once you log your workout, you will be taken to your workout summary page that will show the amount of calories you burned.

Let us know if we can help in anyway.

      Thanks

    1. deppfan says:

same problem :/ What is wrong with us? 😀

    2. Currently challenges do not show the amount of calories burned (only workouts do). You can find the Bikini Blaster series by searching “bikini blaster” in the workout plans. Once you log a workout, you will be taken to your workout summary page that will show the amounts of calories that you burned. Let us know if you need any help!

  48. Lea says:

Could you please try to get the “intense ab workout” and the “muffin top meltdown” workouts on the weighttraining page? I try to do those almost everyday and it would be really nice to know how much calories they burn. Thanks Cassey, I LOVE your workouts 🙂

  49. Kat says:

I have logged a couple workouts but the calories burned seem much much too high. They seem fit for a 200lb man, which i definitely am not. anyone else have this problem?

    1. Hi Kat,

It’s different from person to person, but we are working on the new algorithm that will take into account peoples bodyweight from the FRC and then METs for individual exercises!

Let us know if you need any help!

    2. Sally Sue says:

      Yes, same here.

It says by doing Bikini Blaster 1 – 4 I’ve burned 1320 calories! That seem way too much…

  50. Kim says:

Perky butt and lean legs. Backless dress and ultimate abs! Thanks for the new site post I cant wait to try them out

  51. Lauren says:

I just logged the Bikini Blaster leg workout on Weightraining.com. I LOVE that we can now log our workouts, but it seems as though the calories burned are not accurate. I said that I did the video for 22 minutes and It said I burned 550 calories! I feel like I could not have burned that many calories for 20 minutes. It already has my weight, height, etc. in the system so it should take that into account when calculating the calories. Is anyone else having this problem where the calories burned seems too high ?

    1. Hi Lauren,

It’s different from person to person, but we are working on the new algorithm that will take into account peoples bodyweight from the FRC and then METs for individual exercises!

Thanks for becoming part of WeightTraining.com! If you need anything, just let us know!

  52. Kylie says:

the body weight one! HIIT!! 😀
    my fav lol

  53. Taylor Regan says:

    Hey Cassey!
I signed up for WeightTraining.com and I really like using it! I use MyFitnessPal.com too, and I was wondering if maybe you could get some of your workouts on there??

Thanks for everything you do <3

  54. Christine says:

Hey Cassey. So I know that you said to lose weight, we have to take off 250 calories a day. Do you mean take it off from the number of calories we should eat a day (BMR), or just don’t eat the 250 at all? For example if my BMR is 1535, do I eat just that or do I eat 1285? Thanks!

  55. tasha says:

can anyone tell me how to log a workout?

    1. The easiest way to log a workout is to go to your “Dashboard” and click “Log a Workout”. If you need any help with this, please let us know!

  56. Anika says:

When I want to enter the data to my fitness report card it keeps saying leg press and heart rate are not a number! I didn’t enter anything in there because I don’t know it. I would love to use weight training, please help me 🙂

    1. In trying to make the most accurate fitness report card, we currently do not have an option where users cannot enter this information. For leg press, you could put your weight…since everyone has to at least lift their weight when getting up and such. For heart rate, you can just put an average. Here are some stats that might help:

The target heart rate for a healthy 20-year-old, for example, is between 100 and 170 beats per minute; for a 30-year-old, between 95 and 162; and for a 40-year-old, between 90 to 153 beats

      1. Anika says:

        Thank you:)

  57. Liz says:

Hey, Cassey! Some of your workouts are no longer available on YouTube! Like Bikini Blaster or the thong challenge. Why is that?

    1. blogilates says:

it’s right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zXLZ91aGyU are u subbed to blogilates and blogilatestv?

      1. Liz says:

Oh ok, no problem, I can see it now 🙂
Had to change my browser, though.
Thanks, Cassey!! The new Bikini Blaster is AWESOME!

  58. Michela says:

Would love to know about your awesome “Total Body Bangin’ Workout”..my fave 🙂

  59. Chloe says:

I can’t see how many calories it burns :c am I not looking in the right place or something?

    1. Did you log a workout? When you a log a workout…you will be taken to your “workout summary” with the amount of calories you burned during that workout. Let us know if you need help with anything else!

  60. Sarah Lou says:

    Hey guys,
I just tried weighttraining.com (great idea!!) and wanted to find out how many calories the HIIT it hard Bikini Blaster burnt… I tried to adjust the Reps and Sets to what I did: meaning 1 round and maybe not as many reps as Cassey does…
turns out to show me it burns 450kcal. That can’t be, can it? + it’s probably very different from person to person???

    HELP!! 😀

    1. Hi Sarah,

It’s different from person to person, but we are working on the new algorithm that will take into account peoples bodyweight from the FRC and then METs for individual exercises!

Thanks for becoming part of WeightTraining.com! If you need anything, just let us know!

  64. Anna says:

Congrats on working at Crunch! I’ve done some of their videos that are on Netflix, lol.

Thanks so much Cassey and WeightTraining.com for the calorie counter! I’ll try it tomorrow. I usually log my workouts on SparkPeople, but since I never knew what your workouts burned, I always just placed them as pilates or High Intensity Cardio for the HIITS. I love that this will be more accurate. 🙂 I’d like to put in a request for the calorie count for Food Baby HIIT.

    1. Can’t wait to see your first logged workout on WeightTraining.com!! Let us know if you need anything!

  65. Grace says:

I’d love to be able to see the 20/20 workout!

  66. Ash spi says:

I have a hydration/nutrition question, maybe someone here can answer it?
Situation : I work a job where I need to stand/walk for the entire time that I work (9am-5pm), I can walk short distances of about 20 feet frequently, I walk several 100 feet several times during the day ever couple of hours (sorry i don’t know exact measurements but its shorter than an 1/8 mile), and I need to sprint once or twice a day (sometimes up to 8 times) a distance of about the long side of a soccer field. I had been drinking two 20 oz bottles of water but went home every evening with horrid leg cramps so I have switched to one 20 bottle of Gatorade ( mixed from powder) and one 20 oz bottle of water and I have not had any more cramps. I spend about 3-4 hours outside in the heat (live in S. Florida) and its humid!
Question: What should I be drinking during the day and how much? Is what I am drinking adequate or do I need to add more water/Gatorade? I eat healthy and can fit the Gatorade into my diet with out adding too many extra calories, but is there something else I could consume that would have fewer calories? I do eat a healthy lunch (usually a spinach and chicken wrap, carrots, dried fruit, and special K cracker chips or other vegetables) and a small snack (sunchips), is this enough food or so i need more snacks through out the day? or am i getting enough carbs and what not from the gatorade?
    Thank you in advance!

    1. Megan says:

I’d definitely add more water. I live in NC and drink a little (about 8oz) Gatorade before my runs on hot days and it helps me with cramps too! Coconut water is great for rehydrating but honestly, I think it tastes awful. If you like it and want to cut some calories/sugar maybe drink that instead of Gatorade? I’d also get a reusable water bottle (if that’s not what you’re already using.) I have a 24oz Nalgene bottle that I take everywhere with me and I refill it several times during the day. Definitely helps keep me hydrated!

      1. Ash spi says:

yep I reuse my Gatorade bottles. I’m not sure how much Gatorade i should be drinking or if the calories are too high and therefore might mess with my blood sugar (crash) later in the day.
I’ll try to add more water during the day, I guess I will have to carry a third water bottle.

    2. Ann says:

I am no nutrition expert, I just read a lot, so take what I say with a grain of salt. This specific post just has a lot of comments and I’m not sure if anyone will have a moment to answer it.

You probably need to drink more water during the day with all your activity and the heat. I do not know how much water/gatorade you drink in the evening after work but 40 oz is not going to cut it. I would at least go for 60 oz during the day. One thing you can do with the gatorade is not use the entire powder packet for 20 oz of water (this would mostly be to just to add a bit a flavor to your water while keeping the same calorie count). I am not sure if there are other better powder supplements for water that give you the electrolytes you need with less sugar, so maybe someone else has an idea (or just look around at the store!).

With the history of leg cramps I might add in one or two snacks (one before and one after lunch) of a small serving of a fruit, dried fruit, or vegetable. I’d go for the fruit myself because it will give you additional electrolytes and help keep you hydrated. Adding a banana to your diet every day might give you enough potassium to prevent any future leg cramps.

Otherwise we don’t know much about you. Your height/weight, what else you typically eat during the day, how often you exercise outside of work, and if you are trying to lose/maintain/gain weight. So I don’t think anyone can comment much on your diet. Pay attention to your body! If you are hungry or feel fatigued perhaps you need to drink more or eat more (healthy food of course).

I don’t know how much fluid you need to drink per day but I do know that leg cramps are associated with low potassium so I am sure the electrolytes in the Gatorade helps a lot. If you don’t like drinking that many calories in a sports drink you could try coconut water it is high in potassium check the calorie count though I am not sure how high it is. There is also an electrolyte drink called NUUN which only has 6 calories per tablet you can get it online or at running stores so it might be an option too. I don’t think leg cramps are generally caused by low sugar so you probably don’t need it from the Gatorade but if you are running out of energy hitting a wall then extra carbs might help.
      Hope this helps a little.

    4. Jodie says:

I used to get wicked cramps at night, and found out I was low in magnesium! I picked up a supplement that I take probably 4-5x/week, and I increased how much water I drink during the day…and poof! The cramps are gone!

    abominable abdominals!!!! 🙂

  68. Meaghan says:

how do I log a workout!? I click log, and it brings me to a summary page, but it doesn’t actually log it or show me calories burnt 🙁

    1. Did you already log a workout? If so, you will be sent to your summary page. Through the summary page…you can click “Log another workout”.

  69. Cortni says:

    All of the HIITS!

  70. Kate says:

I would love to know about the 20/20 workout and the food baby bump hiit 🙂

  71. Megan R says:

Muffintop Meltdown, Uh-Oh Obliques!, Crazy Core Workout

  72. sam says:

can someone please tell me how to log one of the challenges? thanks!

    1. Currently challenges cannot be tracked and do not show how many calories are burned. It’s more of a way for people to see who is in the challenge, motivate each other, gain points, and get fit by doing something different. That is a feature that we are looking to add in the future (going to be redesigning all challenges). If you would like it, then just let us know! 🙂

If you go to our workout plans and search “bikini blaster”, you will be able to see all the current workouts we have.

  73. Danie says:

    Hey Cassey,
I just want to let you know that you are my ultimate body idol! Could you please tell me how tall you are? 🙂

Thank you for being such a motivation!!!

    1. blogilates says:

      I am 5’5″!!

  77. Rashmi says:

Hey Cassey! I think having the cardio workouts would be really helpful. I don’t know about others, but I do Pilates to tone up and gain strength. The cardio is what is fueled by my desire to burn the calories, so it would be great to have the calorie count for that.

  78. nicole says:

Wait, so I logged the Bikini Blaster 1 workout as it was because I did it 4 times. It said I burned 1,300 calories? Is that right?!!?

    1. blogilates says:

It’s always going to be a little off but if you worked to full intensity, like FULL FULL, then maybe. They are coming up with a new algorithm to make things more accurate in the future!

    2. sam says:

Hey, do you know how to log the challenges? I completed them, but i cant seem to log them… could you help? Thankss!

  79. diyana says:

the POP CARDIO Fat Melting Routine !

  80. Laura says:

    Hi Cassey,

This new calorie count sounds really cool. As much as I love new workout videos coming out, some of your older videos are just as addicting. These are my favorite go-to videos and would love to know how many calories it burns cause by the time I’m done, I am pooped.

Food Baby HIIT Workout (pop cardio)
Pop Cardio Fat Melting Routine 4x
    Inner Thigh Insanity
    Saddlebag Shaver

*ok I’ll just stick with these 4 and not overwhelm you. Thanks so much!!

  81. Mer says:

I would love to see inner thigh insanity up there but for me I love all your workouts so anything that is up there is fine!

  82. Diaphanousqueen says:

Hey, I’m maybe really dumb because I can’t find how many calories I burnt during the challenge. Anyone has same problem? And if it’s ok, it’s meant to be this way, then I have an idea how improve this whole thing: calories in challenges! 😀 Anyway, thank you all, I’m glad that I can finally use real numbers)) And I could really use the fat melting cardio, I do that like everyday 🙂

    1. Thanks for the feedback. See comments below about challenges not showing calories currently. We will definitely look at adding this feature very soon! 🙂

  83. Kayla says:

I would like to see the POP Cardio vids…especially the kick boxing vid! I love that one!!

  84. Shannon says:

How do you track the challenges?

  85. Voula says:

Hey, Cassey! Nice job! Truth is, I would love to know how many calories every single one of your workouts burns… But for now, I ‘d like to see the “fat melting routine”, the “20/20” ( I do those almost everyday for cardio) and the “chinch that waist”!

  86. Anika says:

That’s AMAZING!!! Now I can finally enter it into my calorie counter app:)
I would love to have the Muffintop Meltdown – I do it every day in addition to the June Workout plan. I loooveee blogilates<3

  87. sam says:

Hot abs workout and Any other ab workout vids, i love them alll!!

  88. B says:

Hi! Love that we are able to see how many calories are burnt when doing these exercises. I did the Bikini Blaster Workout 1 and it said I burned 1320 calories and that seemed like a lot to me so I went in and said I did the other 4 workouts in the Bikini Blaster and they all said 1320 calories burnt also. That seems like a lot and a little odd for them to all be the same. Is that correct or is there an error in the system?

    1. We have been updating the calories to make sure they are the most accurate possible. We just about have the new calorie update ready, so we should have it launched in the next week. Also, make sure you enter in all your information for the Fitness Report Card to insure the calories are specific to your height/weight!

  89. Michele says:

It’s just giving mepoints? Not saying how many calories I’ve burned…? Help?

    1. Have you logged a workout? When you log your first workout…you will be sent to a workout summary page that will show you the amount of calories you have burned.

  90. Elisabeth says:

    Hi!

Well I’m having trouble with the website.. I can’t find the number of calories burnt… It’s all about points but that doesn’t mean anything to me… Can you explain it to me?

    Thks!

    1. blogilates says:

Once you do the workout, it will tell you how many you burn!

    2. In order to see the amount of calories you burn, you have to log a workout. You will then be sent a workout summary page that will show you a bunch of really great stats…one of them being the amount of calories burned! Let us know if you need any other help!

    3. Once you log a workout…you will be sent to your workout summary page that will give you some of the coolest fitness stats EVER (the main one being “calories burned” of course)! 🙂

    4. Elisabeth says:

      Ah! I get it now!

      Thank you!!!

  91. Emilie says:

    2. It’s in the design process now…really cool looking!

  98. Morgana says:

Cassey and fellow Popsters, I need motivation. I’m sitting my final exams in exactly 7 days and I’ve revising, sitting at my desk, for hours and hours for the past few months. And it always happens. At some moment, exhausted and frustrated, I convince myself I’m craving those delicious, high-calorie cookies. And I eat them, hoping they might cheer me up a bit. But I’m wrong, I’m always wrong. And I’ve put on weight, without even realising it.I end up typing this words, cursing myself. How can I workout now? How can I get back on the wagon?

    1. Ann says:

I have this same issues when it comes to major tests! I start medical school a a few weeks so I am going to have to really watch myself.

      BURN THE COOKIES.

Okay, you don’t have to burn them, but throw them away or give away whatever junk food you have!! And in my case, tell your boyfriend to stop buying and giving you junk food!

Now you have to get creative. What relatively healthy foods do you love? Maybe you don’t usually crave them, but once you start eating it you love it! Apples or celery with peanut butter? Pretzels? Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or kiwis? Carrots, cauliflower, or broccoli? A frozen fruit snack? (I love Edy’s Strawberry Fruit Bars.) A small salad?

I’m personally a very picky eater so it is hard for me to find healthy meals and snacks. Here are a few of my go to more creative snacks/small meals.

      1. Banana chocolate smoothie: 6-8 oz of milk, one packet of Carnation Breakfast Essentials milk chocolate mix, and a sliced up ripe banana that was frozen for at least an hour or two. Sometimes I add a bit of peanut butter to this for something a little different. This is has a lot of nutrients, is filling, and gives me my chocolate fix!

      2. Crazy awesome salad: Romaine lettuce, apples, craisins, and cashews with a home made dressing (blend 1/3 cup lemon juice, 2/3 cup vegetable oil, a little less than 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tbsp honey-dijon mustard, 2 tbsp finely chopped onions, and poppy seeds). Depending on the lemon juice, 1/3 cup can be too lemony for me so I sometimes use less lemon juice or more onions/mustard- I am also slowly using less sugar to make it healthier while trying to make it taste about the same. I keep some of the dressing on hand with the romaine lettuce pre-torn and the apples pre-cut (with lemon juice on the blade so they don’t turn brown) so I can easily make a small salad whenever I want. It is quite filling and has a lot of flavor to it!

      3. Chocolate cool whip: 8 oz of fat free cool whip (I get the off brand so it is cheaper), and 80%+ dark chocolate squares (the amount is based on your preference and how dark your chocolate is- I tend to use about 4 squares). Melt the chocolate then slowly add small amounts of the thawed cool whip. Small amounts is important because otherwise the chocolate will not mix well with the cool whip. I then freeze the chocolate cool whip for two reasons: I keeps longer and makes it difficult for me to eat (it is slightly too hard when frozen which means it takes you longer to get spoonfuls). This is not really healthy but is low in calories. Just a spoonful or two of the super chocolaty version of this satisfies my chocolate cravings!

For the work out bit, just do it! Pick a quick cardio video on this website (or anywhere) and do your best. You may not be able to do everything in the video but modify the moves so you can keep moving! For me, a lot of the Pilates moves lying down with your neck/shoulders off the ground I have to modify with my head/neck/shoulders on the ground because I tend to strain my neck too much. You may also need to take breaks ranging from 10 seconds to a couple of minutes but just pause the video and don’t give up. Once you start working out you will be more motivated to work out more often. Maybe even buddy up with a friend to work out together a few times a week.

Here is a quick work out I’ve done not on this website: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AimPOSXe7n4 I don’t think I believe all their claims but it is a type of HIIT workout, is quick, and definitely gets your heart pumping!

  99. char says:

I’ve been trying to use the website, but it keeps saying application error & crashing. Otherwise this is amazing. I’d love the intense abs workout & the super butt workout please. Also the backless dress workout would be great, helping me get ready for my college prom next month 🙂 Love your videos Cassey, got all my friends doing them too & they love them x

    1. We have been pushing up code all morning for some really cool features. In doing so, we have also resolved some of the performance issues. As far as your workout suggestions, we can definitely add those (assuming Cassey wants them added – which we are sure she will)! 🙂

  100. Christina says:

Hey Cassey, I’m so glad that now I know how many calories I burn, because I’m in love with your workouts. You’re great ! Anyway, i was wondering if you can include the “POP Pilates: Intense Ab Workout (full 10 min)” ? It’s one of my favourites <3 And also the "Food baby HIIT Workout" maybe?
