And then I discovered protein pancakes. I experimented with TONS of recipes, because they were always too flat, or too eggy, or just not satisfying. Well, GUESS WHAT?!

I came up with a recipe that checks all of the boxes. These are fluffy, satisfying, and filling – with 30 grams of protein!!!

Sound too good to be true? Go try them NOW!

These are so delicious and fluffy! I made mine with unsweetened almond milk in place of water and it worked perfectly 🙂 Thanks Cassey

Definitely depends on what protein powder you use. I tried my husbands whey protein latte flavor. tasted like sheit. My orgain chocolate powder was good tho. also used 1/4 cup of egg whites instead. 1/3 made it too runny.

Going to try to make them today! I always have trouble keeping my breakfasts balanced and healthy, so this is a good opportunity to do so!

and if you r allergic to bananas, what other fruit could be used?

I wonder if you could use applesauce… my son is allergic to bananas and I’ve found that applesauce has been a good substitute in some recipes. Also, pumpkin puree.

Hi Cassey! Before I start – you look phenomenal- don’t listen to those negative Nancys 😊. Do you have any tips for healthy breakfasts that don’t require cooking but are filling? I don’t have time to cook in the mornings and cereal is full of sugar. I worry about those fit girl, always hungry problems! Thanks! Love your work ❤️

You can try making overnight oats or chia pudding, there’re plenty of recipes online. Also you could make your own granola or buy paleo versions, they’re gluten free and most of them have very little sugar added

Is there a certain type of protein powder you should be using?

Thank you for this recipe! Made these pancakes this morning and used Trader Joe’s unsweetened pea protein powder. Very good! (I also used a little less baking powder because I don’t care for the taste of it). Thanks again!

  17. Tough but Trying says:

Is there anything you can replace protein powder with?

    1. Cherry says:

They’re not gonna be protein pancakes then lol?

      1. Tough but Trying says:

Ik, but I think these are a good healthy alternative to reg. Pancakes. I just dont have protein powder

        1. Grace4Soccer says:

I added some whole wheat flour because my batter was too thin. Maybe you could replace the protein powder with whole wheat flour/oats if you like those? I’ve found that cocoa powder can help give body to a baked good too.

  18. Why am I not surprised at another pancakes recipe?! XD
