The Blogilates August 2021 Workout Calendar!

Hey guys!

Who’s still riding that hot girl summer vibe?! ME TOO. When I sat down to write the August calendar I was like uhhh how?! Summer JUST started! I guess that’s just a sign that we’ve been having a lot of fun, right?

Here’s something to think about as we go into August. What are you hoping to get out of this month? Out of the remainder of summer? What do you want to accomplish?

Think about it and set a goal. It doesn’t even have to be fitness-related! There’s a lot of transition that usually happens in August – vacations coming to a close, school starting, etc. Let’s make this month about intention. Sound good?! Let’s do it.

Summer may be winding down, but it’s not over yet! Here’s your August Workout Calendar!

Here’s How To Follow The August Workout Calendar

Cassey, I seriously LOVE your calendars. You put them together so well! I’ve been doing them religiously since November last year (10 months?) And I still get sore consistently and have been having steady progress gaining weight (mostly in muscle too!) I went from 87lbs to 93lbs so far and keep in mind that there was a stagnant period on weight due to not being able to afford to increase my calories because we were so tight on money with lack of work, so 4 lbs of that have appeared in the last 2 weeks, and I’m excited to see where your workouts take me from here! Ready for September!!

    Dear Cassey,
I am something, late teens years old and have always felt conscious about my body and my level of fitness. My sister is a huge fan of your workout and so I tried to do blogilaties for about five years because of how self-consious I felt but I found that my fitness journey was something I hated and it was never something I ever enjoyed, so I stopped. Recently, I decided to join the millitary and had to do something to increase my fitness, and as a short 5 ft 5 human being, alot of people told me to give up and focus on other things. Trust me when I say I have tried almost everything under the sun in terms of fitness you-tubers and apps and Blogilaties is hands down the best one that has ever existed . Today, on August 23 I finished my first workout ever where I was proud of myself and my body; blogilaties is a community and you helped me growth not just physically but as a person so thank you. Thank you for your videos, personality and monthly routines because I am just not physically the best I have ever been but also mentally. My fitness journey was only possible because you inspired me to look after myself, to be more confident and to reach for my dreams and to not give up. Now, when I workout, I workout for myself to heal and to be stronger than the person I was yesterday and to remember, that when our bodies grow stronger, our muscles break down and regrow to be stronger. Please never stop uploading; in lockdown or not, as a South Asian, you are an inspiration for women to be stronger and be more confident.
    Thank you,
    and love from Australia

Hi Cassey, I’ve been following your videos for years! Small issue: I can’t download the JPEG August calendar. It just opens in a new tab. Am I the only one? Thanks Cassey!

Once it opens up, you right-click and download or save to your device. Does that work?

Hi Cassey, I absolutely love your monthly calendars and the workout schedules you put out. I have started Blogilates about half a year ago and really love it. In some of your videos I have noticed that you have mentioned that you started running more and have been enjoying it. Do you have any plans of perhaps coming out with a beginner running challenge/program that can compliment the pilates? I also used to hate running but would really like to try and incorporate it for more cardio, but don’t know where to start. Thanks!

    Hi Cassey
Thank you for putting this challange together. This is the last month of winter in South Africa so the timing is perfect.
I love how much you have changed and grown over the years.
I love your workouts, I hate you just a little while doing them.
I love your energy, your positivity and your motivation during each workout.
I am looking forward to a healthier, stronger and more confident me.
Lots of love from sunny South Africa

    Dear Cassey

Last week I finally decided to start doing the beginners calendar workouts, even though I didn’t have a mat I tried to lay out a towel, not the best, I know, but it’s all I had.

In the very first workout I hurt my knee , doing the Candlestick Dippers , I do feel a little embarrassed talking about it , but it happened…

So what I felt while doing the specific exercise , was that I was putting a lot of pressure on the knee , and I couldn’t balance myself properly…so I think I ended up forcing it to maintain balance..

The days following ,it did hurt, mostly in the morning , now it’s been aprox. 5 days and it’s a lot better.

The thing is, I am a little worried , about getting hurt , I really would like to continue doing the workouts , but I feel like my posture will be terrible and I’ll end up doing more harm than good!

Is there something that could as much as possible prevent this things from happening ?
Is there anything I could have done better?

I need some advice please !

    Sincerely, Concerned Beginner.

Hi, I’m not a professional in any way but I think the best you could do to avoid injury is to have some appropriate material(like a yoga mat) . You can also do a warm up before working out. I hope my answer will help you a little, have a great day:)
