This Pina Colada Protein Shake is Giving Island Vibes

This Pina Colada Protein Shake is like a vacation in a glass… which I could REALLY use right now!

I LOVE tropical flavors! The next time you wake up at home but want to feel transported to the Caribbean, toss these ingredients into a blender, close your eyes, and feel those beachy vibes.

Some tips before we get blending

I love throwing things into my shakes by the handful and measuring from my heart, but my idea for this shake was to make it a healthy balance of protein, carbs, and fat and keep it around 250 calories so that it’s the perfect post-workout meal.

Orrrr just enjoy your pina colada while sitting by a pool (with a cute fancy straw, of course).

I used my Sculpt & Debloat Sweet Cream Protein Powder for a sweet base that also tastes AMAZING with the coconut and pineapple.

Another trick for having super creamy shakes without an overwhelming flavor takeover is a piece of a frozen banana. Just about half is all you need for the flavor to not take over, but to achieve that creamy thickness we all love in a good shake. Yum!

I got this recipe in my email this week and realized I already had all the ingredients, so I made it for breakfast. It was quite yummy, but I was really impressed with was how full I felt afterwards! Usually when I make a protein shake, I don’t feel like it actually does much, and I have to eat something else with it, but I felt more full and satisfied with this than I do with most breakfasts! I’m going to be keeping this one!
