Let’s talk ingredients

Okay, the thing I love the most about this birthday cake shake is the secret ingredient 👀 that makes it extra creamy, but also full of fiber and antioxidants. Drum roll please…it’s frozen cauliflower!!

Before you roll your eyes, I PROMISE you won’t taste it! You trust me, right?! It’s actually crazy how much creaminess the cauliflower adds to this smoothie – you might start adding it to all of your smoothies!

Of course banana also adds to the creaminess without being overpowering at all. Oh, and one little trick I do sometimes is add a little butter or almond extract to really balance the flavor. Yummm.

I also used my Sculpt & Debloat Protein Powder (duh) in the Sweet Cream flavor! It is PERFECT for the “birthday cake” flavor!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except sprinkles to a high-powered blender and process until smooth.
  • Stir in sprinkles and serve.

Notes

*Frozen riced cauliflower is sold at most grocery stores. If you make your own, be sure to steam it, then freeze. It’s undetectable in recipes and adds fiber, antioxidants and a creamy texture.
**There are several grocery stores and online retailers that carry non-dye varieties of sprinkles.
