Kill That Muffintop GIF & Cool Apps!

Today I was reading HEALTH Magazine and found out about a cool app called Meal Snap. Apparently the app allows you to take pics of your food and it magically tells you the calories in your meal.

I have not downloaded it yet because I was shopping for similar competitors and found out about PhotoCalorie as well. Reviews say that you can keep a log on Photocalorie but not MealSnap…so maybe I will download both and do a review on it for you guys. I don’t know if they also provide nutrition facts…but seems like a REALLY COOL way to stay on track, whether or not the cals are super accurate. It’s still just all about the act of logging it and staying conscious. Though, I guess you could do the same on Instagram but you’d bore your followers to death probably. Ha!

It’s a website and an app…and is so cool (much better than Pandora) because you get playlists that are made by music professionals and is such an easy way to discover new music – a problem I have. There’s playlists like Sunday Morning Workout and Driving in a Car or Mom Friendly Pop. Haha, it’s great! I also have Spotify for when I know exactly what songs I want to listen to, but otherwise, it’s nice to have someone else decide for me what to jam to.


I am super excited to launch the brand new Blogilates Community mid November!!! Will be so much more personal and positive than facbeook is right now. I think you will love! After the first launch we can talk about what other features you want added. Yay!!!

Oh! And today and tomorrow are the last days to enter the POP Pilates DVD cover contest. So far I have loved every single entry! This is going to be so hard! We will vote here on Thurs Nov 1.

    Hey Cassey! I’m Sydney and I’m in 7th grade. I really need some help. You’re videos are really great but they’re really hard for me. Sometimes I get so frustrated I come close to tears. I don’t think its an issue of being overweight, rather than lack of muscle and balance. I have to stop about 10-15 minutes each video! Please help me.

      i know i’m not cassey but maybe i can help, too 🙂
      i can just tell you how it was when i first discovered cassey’s blog (which was in june this year, so not very long ago).
      i had already considered myself quite to very fit at that point, so when i started out with the first few videos (which happened to be “long lean legs”, “butt blaster” and “new makeover”) i was like, ah this won’t be too bad.

      i was so wrong.

      wowww, the first move in the “new makeover” video, i.e. the “long lunge”, basically killed my supposedly oh-so-fit legs within like 5 seconds and i thought how can this MAD-WOMAN (lol) do them for 30+ seconds each side???? 🙂
      same was true for so many other moves in other videos. BUT: i kept trying and trying, even if i had to stop at times. and you know what: i have become so much better since (and so will you!). now there is hardly any video where i need to stop before cassey “allows” it – except for the “payphone challenge” video.. triceps are my weak spot and those dips are still so out of my league..but i keep working on them.

      so don’t be sad if you need to stop. you WILL get stronger & fitter and you will feel so good, trust me! and in a few weeks’ or months’ time you will look back and think “how was i NOT able to do this move? i totally rock it now”!
      keep trying! you can do this! 🙂

        Hey Sydney!
        teilzeitDAU is sooo right!
        When I started Cassey’s videos, I was really bad at it. I tried the Flatter My Abs workout and couldn’t even do the first move!
        But I’ve been doing the videos for about an hour each day and I have gotten so much stronger. And I’ve only been doing it for a month.

        If you keep at it, you will get stronger and you will rarely find a video you can’t do!

    Heyy Cassey! I was wondering if you could make a quick video or blog about what to do if you hit a plateau. I lost a good 15lbs at the beginning of the year and now i cannot seem to lose anymore. I know for awhile it was my diet cuz i kinda went crazy and stopped eating as clean as i would have liked but now i have got back on track and can’t seem to lose any more fat. Any suggestions?

    can’t wait for the calendar either 🙂 i’ve been in “maintenance mode” with my diet lately (i refuse to call it “pigging-out mode”, haha, no guilt feelings allowed) and planned to give it a whole new start come November.
    but it’s gonna be kinda hard… “luckily” (as far as diet is concerned), we don’t celebrate halloween nor thanksgiving where i live, but at the moment there’s our annual 2-week autumn funfair going on my town, which is super fun and i’ve been looking forward to & drooling over it like a child haha.
    But it also means sweets, sugary drinks, fatty snacks and yolo-foodx494757395 whereever you go..and aaah! i want them all! 🙂
    and i can’t even lock myself in my flat & hide because i happen to live like RIGHT.NEXT.TO. one of the funfair sites, so i look out of my kitchen window and BAMM! see all those stalls, hear the sounds and (imagine that i can) even smell all those yummy foods.

    So excited about the new workout calendar! Any chance of releasing it a tiny bit early? I live in Australia and wanted to start it early on November 1st but I’m guessing with the time difference (I think 16-18 hours ahead!) I might be waiting til later in the day? And I am looking forward to the calendar as well, I’ve been super on track with OMGOCTOBER the past 2 weeks and my goal is to do every workout of november! Lofty maybe but meh, i wanna do it!
