I haven’t uploaded a POP workout with a real Top 40 song in a while mainly because I am so scared of getting strikes and videos taken down for copyright issues! But yesterday I was soooooo feelin “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepson. I am loving that song. So I said what the heck, let’s squat it out!

I dare you to do this Squat and Plie challenge with me. Try not to stop. Feel the burn. Your glutes, quads, and inner thighs are gonna die!!!!!!!! And you’re gonna love it!!!!!!

Good luck! And remember…whenever you feel like stopping…think TRAIN INSANE OR REMAIN THE SAME.

More of these shirts in different colors will be coming in about 2 weeks. We will have burgandy, heather grey, charcoal, magenta, and purple! Unfortunately I couldn’t get the cucumber and turquoise again 🙁 Will also be trying to launch a BRAND NEW web site experience for in the next month or so. Meeting with a web developer tomorrow! I just can’t code HTML anymore. My head will explode. I need help!!!

    Since my goal is always to feel sore the next morningi decided to do this workout with two 12 pound weights……I could barely move my legs after that.

    I was crying out train insane or remain the same with the plié squats…. My legs were shaking but I kept going.

    Thanks cassey!!!! I’m a figure skater and this workout is perfect for building the muscle in my legs for jumps! Now in our off ice workouts we use this video as one of our parts and I’ve noticed improvement in the height of my jumps! Thank you so much!!! 🙂

    Hi Cassie, I love your workouts and I follow this month’s calendar.
    Sadly, since I am from Germany, I cannot see your WO videos which contain popular music because the so called GEMA agency prohibits on youtube vids which didn’t pay a German fee for pop music. 🙁 I hate that!

      Hey polly, an hour of working out each day is ideal, make sure you alternate each day between working on lower and upper body 🙂 also don’t workout intensely if you’re still sore from your last workout as your muscles need time to rebuild 🙂

    Do you know how many calories this burns? I did it twice and if I bernt as many calories as the amount of pain my legs are in… I’m pretty sure I will have a good butt and legs soon! So how many calories does this burn?(:

I did it twice and I hobbled to the kitchen like a penguin to get a snack.. my legs are still shaky, but thank you so much! I hope to build up my strength so I can do it like 5 times in a row or something. I might even decide to add weights next time like you do! <3

    wahhh I love Blogilates and I love all your videos! I have always wanted to try pilates but all the classes near me are always fully booked. So I tried your beginners pop pilates video and have been hooked ever since. Thankyou for making this form of exercise so accessible and fun 🙂

    PS the squat workout is amazing but so hard!! I love that its only 5 mins long, I did it when the adverts came on during a tv programme I was watching. Gotta squeeze in the workouts where we can!!
