What an Emotional Day
Today was a highly cathartic day. I had a long talk with my bikini coach and it moved me to tears. It was so weird to cry in front of him! Whenever I become REALLY HAPPY or REALLY UPSET, I’ll just start tearing up. This is natural for me – I don’t like this trait of mine, because sometimes I feel like it shows weakness. But it was because I was so touched and happy to hear someone genuinely support me all the way in this journey. Fitness competitions are a new thing for me and I’ve never been at a level of physical leanness that I am at right now, so it’s hard to even believe in myself sometimes. So to have someone tell you that they believe in you when you begin to doubt yourself – wow, it means the world. Anyway, just watch the video to see what I mean!!
After my training with Kip, I ate some catfish and salad (my dressing was a mix of soysauce and hot sauce) and then I drank my cinnamon roll protein shake on the way to teach my 2 Pilates classes. I was SOOO out of it for the first 30 min of my first class. My head was in LA LA land after that motivational talk.
But no worries I popped right back into my game! The 2 classes were awesome!!! I have so much fun teaching. Today a special guest and fan from the UK took my class at the Union City Sports Center! It was such a pleasure to meet Karl and hear that him and his friend have been following me for a while! Crazy, you never know who’s watching or coming I guess!
Here I am after the classes and before cardio round 2! Had to snap of shot of the new clothes I got at the POP Pilates Meetup in LA. I am wearing the Body Language Bra and Scrunchy Capris (most comfy and form fitting pants ever, plus they are low rise), ION top, and Nike shoes. Remember you get 15% off all BL purchases up until this Friday April 27th, so take advantage! Use code “POPSTER”. I’d stock up on those scrunchy capris if I were you. I do not exaggerate when I say they are my fave pants…I keep wanting more and as long as BL keeps coming out with more of these in more colors, I’ll never cease to wear them!!! Get em here.
After slipping on my clear heels and doing some modelin’ in the group ex room for 15 min, I rushed home to eat. This friends, is my new creation. I’d like to call it an open faced chicken sandwich of sorts, but the problem is that the “bread” is actually a regular protein pancake. Hahaha. Well now you can go eew. But you know what??? It’s actually not too bad! In fact it was delish. Or well, maybe delish on a contest diet!
Finally, here are my 2 bikinis to choose from for the competition. Which do you like better? Cheetah or hot pink?
11 more days to go. I AM SO READY!!!! LET’S DO THIS!!!!! My diet is gonna be super strict the next week and half. I must stay emotionally and mentally strong. I BELIEVE!!!!
Hope you guys are all doing well – remember to continually challenge yourself so that you can keep growing and thriving.
