Now…before we get into the fun stuff, I have to address something.

This new app has some backstory that I think is important for you to know.

I wrote up my idea for this app a couple years ago after things went south with my first app. Basically, my ex-developer ran away with nearly everything I earned on my first Blogilates app and fled the country. He took the code and kept using my brand against my will. I had zero control. So that’s why you probably noticed no new updates or care for the old app at all. It was a really terrible situation and only recently was I able to convince Apple and Google that I actually own my app so they need to pull my old app from the store (confusing, I know!). The app being stolen from me was one thing, but I was more hurt seeing someone that I thought I trusted throw away our friendship over greed.

Anyway, today marks a new beginning.

Honestly, I was really hesitant to launch today.

There is sooooooo much more that hasn’t been built out yet, but Sam convinced me that it is better to give you something in progress rather than make you wait another 3 years for something “perfect”.

As a perfectionist (my ultimate weakness), releasing something that isn’t finished yet scares me. But you know what? Technology is actually NEVER finished. That’s kinda the whole point I suppose 😉

What you’re seeing today is just version 1 of BODY by Blogilates! (Just a fraction of my master plan, but a solid foundation indeed!) There will be new updates nearly EVERY week, so I am excited for you to join me on this app-building journey from Day 1.

Because the old Blogilates app got removed from the app store, I lost over 8 years of feedback from POPsters 😔 It would me so much to me if you could leave a review for me in the app store. Could you do that? It would help so much.

    Help! I can’t figure out my old password and I have to have it to create a new one, because for some reason the app on my iPad is requiring a sign in. I don’t see anywhere to contact any tech support so I don’t know where else to turn. Thanks!

    I subscribed for the app calendar but it will not let me cast. Is this something that will be fixed soon or should I cancel before the 7 day free trial? One of the main reasons for me to pick the app was to be able to cast to the TV from my phone instead of going to youtube.

    Hi, I’m trying to log in from my iPad but I’ve forgotten what my username is. The app doesn’t show me and there’s only a password recovery but you have to know the username to use it. Is there a way to add username/email as a login option? It’s frustrating not being able to use my email at all to figure out what my username was. :(

    hey, the chromecast icon appears, but unable to cast on my tv… so in the end, youtube is much easier for me to get my trainings in full screen… anyone else had the same problem ?

  • I was excited about the new app, however, I was disappointed that the app does not sync across devices. I started the challenge on my ipad and found that on days that I needed to use my iphone to complete the challenge exercise for the day that I could not access the challenge from my phone. Also, when you open the app it is strange that you can see Casey talking and there is no sound. I am not sure I understand that feature unless it is a marketing ploy and we only hear her if you pay for the app. Lastly, you cannot categorize your favorites and I find myself scrolling though all of them to find the ab or glute workout that I need for my early morning workout. Hopefully, we will see continue to see upgrades and improvements. Thank you

    Hello, I am writing because I have been really enjoying doing the ab challenge and daily workouts. Yesterday, however, I started having problems with the app: I have been prompted to repurchase and I can see that my credit card has been charged, but there is no way for me to tell on the app settings which plan I’m being charged for (if not both); all the progress on the ab challenge was erased, and now it says “0% progress), I can’t access the workout videos without continuously being prompted to repurchase. Please help!

    I was excited about the app, but the app isn’t working probably. I paid the yearly subscription. On my phone the workouts time out three to four times during a workout. I have to wake up the screen and press play again. This is very frustrating and non-motivational. When I play the workouts via YouTube on my phone no problem, but whats the sense of having the app? It would be nice to have this app sync to my other devices. I did put in a suggestion from the app under profile, settings, but have heard no response.

    Great app but still room for improvement!! A picklist while searching for workouts would be handy (cfr. YouTube). Please show all workouts of the day just by clicking on the date. Even for dates in future and in the past. If you can’t do the workout on the current day you can do that particular workout on a day that’s more convenient. Hopefully that will be planned in a future update!!

    Hi. I have the app on my phone and it showed me the update yesterday’s but I didn’t have time to do it then and today when I opened it the update option wasn’t there. Yesterday the calendar sort of hung up on the last workout of the day which was extreme Ab flattened and it is refusing to budge from there. I just did the 100 Ab challenge for the day but can’t access today’s workout on the calendar and this is my workout time and its running out fast. What to do?

      Hey! If in your profile, if you click on the top left gear icon, you can press “Restore my Purchases” and then you can access the calendar, etc.
      You may have already figured this out, but maybe it’ll help someone else. It’s a little annoying to have to press it so often, but at least then you can access it

    I see that the daily workouts in the app’s calendar are different than the printable ones, is the app’s calendar completely different than the printable? Just curious! There is no issue for me as of yet :) Best of luck!

    I paid for the annual subscription and now I’ve been logged out and there’s no way to reset my password or access the app with my current account. Is there going to be any support for this? This is really upsetting.

      I figured it out (I think!). Go to your “profile” in app. Click on the image to the right of your name (orange square with circle in it). It gives you the option to “restore my purchases”. Click on that and the calendar part of the app should work again.

    I had to refresh the app because it wasn’t processing my subscription I already paid for. It then deleted my progress so far this month. I do love the app though when it is running properly!! I look forward to using it each day.

    I got the 7 day free trial for a monthly subscription when the price was set at $3.99 a month. The next day it told me monthly would be $10 a month and annual would be $20, my trial is about to run up and I would just like to switch to annual but it is not giving me an options to even cancel the trial if I wanted. Not sure how to go about this. But I absolutely love the app, i have horrible motivation but the checkmarks really hold me accountable. I have worked out everyday since getting this app.

    I’m loving the app! The problem I am having is that every day when I click to get the day’s workouts, it asks me if I want to subscribe. I already pay for the membership. The only way to get it to work is to go to my account and restore the purchase. Any way to fix that so I don’t have to do that every morning? Thanks

    I am having the same problem as a lot of other folks! I paid for a 1 year subscription of the app over a week ago and as soon as the 7 day trial was over, it stopped working. It is as though I never signed up but my credit card has now been charged the $39.99 already. I also can’t sign into the website as the “forgot password” option does not work, it keeps looping.

    I’m loving the app and have been following you for a long time. I love that the videos don’t have commercials in them. However, I signed up for the membership and every day I try to look at the calendar it tries to make me sign up again. It will make me do this 10 times, all saying “you’re already signed up” but it still won’t let me access the calendar. I hope this can get worked out otherwise I can’t use the main function of the app! Otherwise, I’m loving the ab challenge and the layout!

    Hi Cassey! I’ve been following you and your workout routines for over seven years now, so I was super excited when I saw you had a new and improved app coming out. This new app is great by design. I’m sure once it’s actually running properly, it’ll make for a seamless workout experience. Currently, the whole app is super buggy. It seems like a lot of the features don’t work. I’ve paid for the annual subscription but at this point, I’m still having trouble getting anything out of it.
    1. The app is not successfully tracking completed workouts. I’m also unable to access any other calendar days besides the current.
    2. Sometimes when I enter the app, it doesn’t recognize that I’ve already purchased my subscription. It takes me to a ‘Get started’ screen. I click the subscription I already bought, and it says ‘Cannot connect to app store’. So I’m essentially locked out of the calendar.
    3. The Chromecast doesn’t work.
    I know the app is very new, so I’m hoping the issues will work themselves out. Otherwise, I’ll probably ask the cancel the subscription and go back to the YouTube playlists. Good luck Cassey!

      Hardcore yes to #1. Sometimes I change days that I do a workout based on my schedule and I’m very annoyed that I can’t see future or previous workouts. Very disappointed considering I paid for the annual subscription. I have an Android. Could this be part of the problem? Please fix this ASAP, Cassey!

    I am having the same problems that ELISE FORTE is sharing with us down below. No update shows in my phone and now won’t let me access the app. It’s a shame since I was really enjoying the app. Will eventually cancel my suscription if it doesn’t get fixed.

      I emailed [email protected] and they sent a temporary password. It did NOT work, but the email said an update is coming Wednesday, 8/10. After reading some new comments, I’m relieved I’m not the only one having the same problem. Also, I’ve noticed, from reading other comments, this problem happened AFTER our 7 day free trial. *Fingers crossed*

    Hi! There is a way to receive a refund? I love the app and I love your work as a trainer and also as a designer.     I as well have been having issues after paying for the monthly subscription, my user was found but when i input the password I know I used;it kept saying wrong password without giving me the option to update my password. I enjoy using this app so far, so i hope this problem gets fixed so I can get back at my workouts and challenges!

    Greetings! I too have paid for membership, which took effect after the 7 day free trial; I am now unable to get into the app. I could not find an update option, nor a change my password option. (I’m 99% sure I know my password). Anyway, I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my phone, all to no avail. Thank you for taking all of our comments and working on it! Otherwise, this is a great app, and I really enjoy using it :)

    Hello! I was really excited using Body, easy access to all the videos for the day and the challenge. However, yesterday I tried opening the app to do my workouts and it claimed I had to repurchase my plan to access my calendar. Apple provided me with the receipt so I know the purchase was confirmed and I was using the app just fine for 5 days or so. Not sure what happened, but I tried to reinstall it and still nothing. It’s a shame, but I guess this is where me keeping track of my progress ends since I’m not willing to purchase this twice.

    So excited about the app! Really loving it and wanted to pass on a few bugs to your team!
    – it keeps forgetting my subscription and then when I click start 7 day trial it says I have a membership but can’t connect to iTunes Store
    – the leave suggestion button doesn’t link anywhere
    – when you tick off a video it freezes on the congratulations page and you need to close the app and re-open

    I purchased the body app on 5th August,2020 though my iphone. The app went smoothly for a couple of days. However, I am unable to access the app from today and it is asking me to pay the subscription again.Also, I am unable to access the app from my ipad and I complained the same. Sadly, it wasn’t fixed either.

    I’ve been faithfully using this app everyday since launch and have been loving it. Seeing the progress on my profile was a huge motivator to stay committed. There have been some bugs and issues with viewing the calendar, but I’ve always gotten through.
    Today when accessing the app, there was an update. After updating the app instantly crashed when I clicked the calendar. Having no other option, I deleted and reinstalled the app. All my progress is gone. Everything is zero. The calendar works now, but I have nothing to show for the 8 days I’ve been active. This is really disappointing…

    I really like the new app, it looks so lovely and is really easy to sign up to and navigate!
    I’m having an issue with the calendar though where it is not saving my progress. I have completed all the workouts everyday since August 1st but when I come back into the app each morning all my progress is lost. I’m doing the ab challenge alongside the calendar and my progress through this is working. I can also see that I have completed the correct number of workout videos on my stats page. Is there anything you can recommend? I have an iPhone 11 and have checked my app is up to date as well. Any help would be appreciated.

    Also, after I downloaded the app and signed up I am not able to activate the workout calendar….it won’t allow me to open anything on that page. 😔
    Otherwise, I am very happy with the app and would be even happier if I could access everything

    I’m disappointed there is no clickable PDF. At lease with the old app you can still access the daily playlist.

Also, no update has been available). Maybe you’ve been aware of this problem already, but just pointing it out since more people might have the same issue? I love to work out with you on the big screen and not on my phone :)

    Hi Cassey, I am trying your new app which I am gonna love so much for sure (it is nice and easy to look through), but there are few things that disturb me a lot. Could you please check them and try to fix them?

    1) the calendar in the app is not clickable and it definitely should be… at least the days in past
    2) sorting videos does not work… when I sort “butt videos” it is still searching videos about arms or abs
    3) few of your old videos are missing (e.g. POP Pilates for Beginners – Total Body Workout)
    4) I am still at Day 1 of the ab challenge even though I did it yesterday. It doesnt switch to the day 2
    5) I would appreciate if you could add also the sorting you have on your website – sorting beginners, intermediate and advanced workouts

    Hey Cassey,
    I have been following you since 2015 and I really love your workouts! Recently, I even got my mom to do the workouts with me when I moved back home after college. It is so much fun and we are totally enjoying our daily mother-daughter-time.
    When you told about your app, we imedeatly checked it out. We totally love the look of it and think even the subscription is reasonable priced!
    However, we would love to be able to switch up the workout days. Since I am working full-time, I sometimes need to change my workouts according to my schedule. Also, do you plan to add an offline feature? It would honestly make my life so much easier to be able to download viedos – maybe for a week and then you would have to go online again? Since I sometimes have trouble with the internet where I live and also travel a lot, this would be perfect.

    THIS IS THE APP I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!! I have been a longtime fan of your workouts and workout calendars and I am so excited to have such a beautifully designed app with all of your resources in one place! I have been absolutely loving using it so far and am excited to continue to do so! One inquiry I had was regarding the calendar feature: as of now on my app, I am only allowed to see the current day’s exercises. Since I like to be able to plan my week’s workouts ahead of time within my daily schedule, it would be super helpful to be able to see a week’s upcoming workouts. Similarly, I always like to be able to see the previous week to have a better view of what I’ve already done/the progress I have completed. I was wondering if this is just a glitch in my app? Or perhaps this feature just doesn’t exist (yet!). Thank you so much and we are so excited to see all that you do!!!

I know the charge went through because I got a receipt from Apple. I am wanting to get this solved, but have no idea how!! Please help!!

    So excited about this ap, however it doesn’t seem to recognize the subscription from one device to another. We have a family sharing plan and I downloaded it to my phone and then I shared it on the family iPad so I could see the workout better. When I signed in, it recognizes my name but it did not carry over my work out info nor my subscription. Please let us know how we can access from multiple devices with our log in.

    Hey! Congratulations on making this! I got the subscription and am trying to complete the August calendar to 100% but the app seems to have lost my progress from august 1st and 2nd… it says I have the correct number of workouts completed, but those 2 days seem to not be contributing to my percent completed and the calendar isn’t showing the check marks on them. It had them initially, but today when I went in the app they were gone. I have restarted the app several times and rebooted my phone to try to fix it. I really want to get it to 100%!

        I’m having the same problem. I was able to do the workouts on my ipad but the last two day and will not let me. I’ve been using my phone. Still trying to figure out how to get the app on my TV. I would love to be able to go back to days to finish workouts. If i miss a workout because of time I try to go back and do the ones I missed. Love the app and I know the problems will be resolved. Thanks so much!

    Hi, Cassey! I love the idea of the new app, but I have no button to watch the videos on TV on my iPhone. Also every time I type “done” on the callendar it gets stuck on the congratulations screen and won’t let me do anything else, so I have to restart it. I also started a 100 ab challenge and only done 1 video, but it won’t let me continue on it saying I already have a challenge started, which is THIS CHALLENGE! :( Today I couldn’t even access the calendar, it asked me for a sub, and I’m already a subscriber. I click sub again, iTunes says I’m a sub, but then the app give the error of “Cannot connect to iTunes”. So many issues in what looked like an awesome app. I just really wish there was a PDF version of the callender this month as well. Cause it’s super not convenient to do workouts this August.

    Hello Cassey, I discovered your workouts 1 month ago and I love them ! I definitely committed myself to do it every single day ! Also I love your app, the colors and layouts are really motivating.

    I love doing my workouts in the morning before going to work but because I live in Switzerland, I don’t have access to the day of your calendar when I wake up (GMT 8+ ).

    With your PDF I was able to see previous and further workouts. I cannot see it with the app. Could you uploaded at least a few days before ?

    Hey Cassie! The app is great but there’s a few problems. My checkmark for Aug 1 is gone today, says 0% completed calendar but shows 4 completed workouts in the other section. I can’t click on the other days of the calendar for some reason (this bugs me the most, I’d definitely need to see the entire month to pay for this app). It bothers me because I like to know/be able to do workouts in advance in case I’m too busy a certain day and also be able to go back and complete/check off a workout if I forgot to on the day of, which is what I do with the free calendar.
    I also can’t get the audio on the home page to play, where Cassie’s talking, even though the audio plays fine in other apps as well as in the workout vids. I’m sure they’re all just glitches but thought I’d share so hopefully it can be fixed soon. :)

I’ve started the calendar and I love the layout of the app. I’m definitely willing to pay for the progress feature, however this feature is currently not working for me. I started the subscription and checked the workouts yesterday, but today the check is gone and there is no progress on the monthly progress bar. I do see 4 workouts in my statistics. Maybe it is a bug =)?

    Sorry to hear about the trouble with the previous developer. I missed having an app to track my calendar on the go, so I’m so happy that there is a new app!!! I love the design and layout of the new app. It is super user friendly and a great resource for my daily workouts.

    I wasn’t sure if I was the only one having this issue, but on my Apple device, the app freezes when I click the “done” button after a video. I have to close the app down completely then reload it for it to display anything other than the “congratulations” screen. I know you mentioned that updates are coming, but I figured I would add the comment in case my device wasn’t the only one doing this? Congrats on the new launch :)

    I’m very disappointed. My motorola phone does not connect to my TV, so the app is useless for me. I have to use YouTube anyway. I’m also disappointed because the pdf calendar with the links is not available on the site anymore (only a low resolution image that is not really printable). I got the 7 day trial for the app, but the calendar there was also with a bad resolution and did not look good when printed. So I decided that I am not paying for the subscription, which I was really willing for.

    So pretty and innocent looking =P Just an FYI, I have it on Euro setting and the prices are 4.49 and 43.99, though with the exchange rate it should actually be less than what you mentioned. Maybe you changed prices, it’s just something I noticed.

    Oh. my. goodness. I have been waiting sooo long for this!! My sister and I have been doing your workouts since about 2013, and we had the first app, but we noticed that it stayed in such an old format, so we kept saying that Cassey needed to come out with a new app, and now she has!! This is so exciting! Also, do you think you can make like a forum or something like there was in the old app for popsters so that we can motivate each other? That would be amazing!!
