DIY Workout Headband! + Labor Day Sale!

Hey guys!

How are you enjoying your Labor Day weekend so far!? I may need to go soak up some sun before Fall officially arrives! I honestly love summer so much. I am sad that the days are getting shorter and that the weather is getting cooler. I’m a shorts kinda girl. Also, I get cold super easily so the Winter months are actually quite torturous for me (even in LA)! What will you be doing this weekend?

If you have nothing crazy planned, I suggest you try making this DIY workout headband I made with my friend Ann from Anneorshine!

Of course you can wear them actual functional workout style, or you can wear em hipster style like us! The headband literally takes under 10 min to make and you don’t need to sew anything. The materials you’ll need are:

1. Three (3) strands of material (shoelaces, ribbon, lace, tshirt strips)

2. 1 stretchy hairband

3. Scissors to cut the material.

All you need to do is braid the 3 strings together and knot the ends to a hairband and kaboom! You’re done. Seriously SO EASY!

    Hi again!!

    Okay, I guess I just had a problem doing it on my phone because the site wasn’t loading properly, but for those who want to know where to enter the code to save 20%, once you click the checkout option and choose how you’d like to pay (I did it via paypal) you will be directed to a page where your order is summarized and at the end of the page it asks if you have a “coupon”. In that box you type in your code “workitgirl20”, and when you click the ‘complete order’ option it will tell you that your code was accepted and show you how much you save. You will then click ‘complete order’ again to finalize your purchase.

    I hope this helps anyone else who was unsure of how to get the discount!

    Hi!! I’m a “new” and faithful follower who is very much enjoying your amazing workouts. When I first came across your videos a week ago (one of the ones with a pilates ball), I thought you were insane lol. Your energy was so incredible and I could’t keep up with you.

    I came across you again by chance and discovered, with your amazing and continuous motivation, that I can complete your workouts and live through some of your challenges. i still need the muscle to keep up with you but you are a wonderful motivator. I love you for that.

  3. Haha I’ve never been a shorts kind of girl, but now I’m surprisingly okay with them! Funny how we change over the years. 🙂 And I personally can’t wait for fall! But I gotta say…summer fruits are probably my favorite now so we’ll see if LA permits us getting summer fruit all through the winter, heeh.

    Heyy Cassey I’m so happy I caught this post before there was a bajillion comments!
    Love the headbands, the result is seriously good. You also always seem to me as a really good person when shown interacting with other people on camera.
    I guess I just wanted to say that I’ve been working out with you every day, for a couple of months, and it’s made me change so much – especially mentally speaking. Now I know that if I set my mind to something, I am unstoppable. I mean if I can do 1000 squats, 100 burpees and a 100 waist whittlers (half on knees though) I can do anything 😀 And I plan to keep working out with you, every day, to become a person who is strong and really fit and positive, and even then, I will just keep going towards new goals! I have never worked out in my life before – not like this, with muscle toning and cardio.. I have always done yoga and have been practicing power yoga (astanga) for a couple years now, but with your teaching I have been able to commit to a 6 days a week workout regime no problem 🙂
    My next challenge is to make my eating not only clean (it already is), but to also make sure I consume less calories than I burn. I always tend to go overboard 🙁
    Hope you come back to London REAL soon, you have quite the fan base here, judging from your app’s forums.
