I don’t have protein powder and I didn’t plan on putting it in my pancake yet. Is there something else I can replace it with for now??

    1. Bai says:

More oat flour usually works for me 🙂

  3. Ariana says:

Hi,cassy always uses egg whites in her recipes, but I like using the whole egg. What is the equivalent to two egg whites, one whole egg?

  4. Anisa says:

It sort of confuses me when Americans say half a cup or a cup for e.g. In london we work with grams and it’s much more simple. What cup am i supposed to use? plastic, mug, glass etc?

    1. Kate says:

      approx. 250 grams per cup

  5. Sarah says:

would skipping the protein powder affect the taste?

    1. Ali says:

Ummm yes since that is actually used in place of flour. You would only have liquid goop.

  6. Bri says:

Great recipes, but I liked it better when you did recipes without protein powder. Many of us do not want to invest money into that…or maybe you can show the alternative to protein powder.

    1. Mehwish says:

      I totally agree Bri!!

    2. Kimberly says:

Protein powder is worth the money

    Hey Cassey!
my boyfriend isn’t really happy with his body right now. He is 6’3” ft tall and weighs about 235lb. He has no energy or time for sport (I tried to do your videos with him but he thinks that’s girl stuff and not manly.) because he works a lot and has appointments till 9 p.m.. When he comes home he usually doesn’t do much. Just finding something to eat when I’m not there to cook (usually it’s toast) and plays a lot on the computer before going to bed (he needs such things to relax). I understand that he can’t really jump around doing workout at home at night cause he got neighbours with a little child. So I want to know what I can give him for dinner or prepare the day before so that he doesn’t have to starve. he doesn’t eat breakfast and hardly ever lunch because of lack of time. so he needs to eat something at night.
What can I prepare or what could i give him that he can eat during lunch break or in-between two appointments?
    thanks for an answer!

      Hi Kathy,
Check out ProBars. They’re natural meal-replacement bars that he can eat whenever. Also Svelte meal replacement shakes are an option. Both can be found on Vitacost.com

You can also try making some of the recipes on here in larger quantities (double or triple the amounts to make alot at once) and freeze the leftovers. That way when you’re not around, he can at least heat something up that’s ready-made. I do this for myself and my family and it works out great. Saves me some time, too, so I’m not cooking 24/7! 🙂

Cassey! You should definitely do a video or blog post about staying fit and healthy when your in college! Like, how to chose the right food in the cafeteria, and balancing workouts with school work!

This recipe looks awesome, but I have I problem 🙁 I’m allergic to oats, any ideas what can I substitute the oats with? It makes eating clean difficult 🙁

    1. Elana says:

You can use another type of flour, like brown rice or chickpea I would think 🙂

      1. Claudia says:

Thank you, i will definitely try that.

I am going to add this one to my protein recipes! Love pancakes! thanks

  16. Elana says:

This seems like more of a strawberries and cream protein shake. What can I do to enhance the cake flavor? Nutmeg, or any other ideas? Also, I don’t eat dairy. Should I try to find some vegan Greek yogurt? Or use soy, or any other suggestions? I love the smoothie recipes; it helps so much to know the proportions so thank you!!! 🙂

    1. Jessica says:

You could add vanilla! That might increase the cake flavour.

      1. Elana says:

        Yummy! Thank you! 🙂

    1. Morgan says:

She already did lol! It’s hidden on her second channel! Here’s the link: http://youtu.be/AbZRE6YiX68
