My favorite fruit pairing with chocolate is, without a doubt, strawberries or raspberries. Give me any berry slathered in chocolate and you have the way to my heart! (And belly.) 😛 These protein cookies sound fabulous! I will make it today and store it in Infinity Jars so that I can have fresh cookies every day. https://infinityjars.com/collections/screw-top-jars

Hi everyone! I have become interested in Quest Bars and went to their website to check out the nutrition. Per bar, there are anywhere from 16-20 grams of fiber, and I am wondering if anyone has experienced digestive issues because of it. I often eat Kashi GoLean (which has 10 grams of fiber per serving), but about five hours later I start to get crampy and gassy. How do you all feel after you consume Quest Bars? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks!! 🙂

    1. Jenny says:

Try eating more fiber each day to help your body adjust. Also try fermented drinks like Kefir and Kombucha to regulate your digestive system.

  3. Lindsay says:

These look so great (and so much healthier than the norm)! My grandmother used to make cookies that looked just like these but had a Hersey Kiss in the middle. Maybe I’ll make these and see what she thinks … thanks for sharing! 🙂 I’m also starting my “new year’s resolutions” on Dec. 1st. Great idea!

  4. Claire says:

    Hey Cassey 🙂
I watch a lot of your videos and love your recepies, the ones i have tried are always delicious, but i have a problem 🙁 I am allergic to nuts and a lot of the time i hear snacking on almonds and peanut butter is good when trying to eat clean and quite a lot of your recepies have almond milk or nuts in, any suggestions for good alterniatives? xxxxx

    1. Jessica A says:

Hi Claire, for recipes requiring nut butter, you can try to use seed butter (e.g. sunflower seed, sesame seed) and see how it goes 🙂 For milk, just use any of your favourite milk.

      1. Biev says:

You could also use a peanut-free “peanut butter” made from roasted soybeans, like WowButter. My little brother is allergic to peanuts so we buy this for him, and it tastes remarkably like the real thing. I see it a lot in grocery stores, it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

  5. Barbara Kaly says:

My grandson has a nut allergy and I can not use almond milk or any other nut ingredient. I would love to try you pumpkin pie and white choc. raspberry cookie but they both have nuts. Is there a way to
    alter these?

    1. Maria says:

The only nuts in this recipe is in the almond milk. For that you can use coconut milk, seed milk, hemp milk, soy milk or even a dairy milk. For the pumpkin pie recipe that would be harder. Is he allergic to all nuts? If not you could use pecans, cashews, etc. ground up in place of the almond flour. If he is allergic to all nuts you could make sunflower seed flour which is super simple. This comment on the pumpkin pie recipe gives even another alternative: https://www.blogilates.com/blog/2013/11/08/healthy-pumpkin-pie-recipe/comment-page-1/#comment-425107

ITS HERE look at the new youtube Video !!!!

    Hi Cassey,

I love your workouts and I’ve been trying to eat clean for the last two weeks since I started putting in the effort of motivating myself and starting with Blogilates again. So far, so good. I am excited for your 12 week plan, but I have a request.

I live in South Africa and certain things in my town at least are not as easy to come by. For instance nobody even knows what edamame is around here. When I actually did get my hands on some,it cost me an arm and a leg! The stores/markets don’t sell almond milk, kale and quinoa either. (when I called the supermarket, the manager made me feel stupid for asking if they had quinoa in stock)

Seeing as I want to try and follow your meal plan as close as possible, could you please add alternatives to the foods we can’t come by?

Keep up the great, inspiring work!

  8. Veronica says:

I am SO excited for this meal plan to come out! I will about that historically I’m not the best at eating clean and healthy (I’ve been that way my whole life) but I figured since I’m a senior and getting ready to go off to college where I won’t have my mom looking out for me all the time, I should start learning how to be healthy! Track season has started so I will be working out at least 5 days a week and eating well on top of that should get me in to tip top shape by the time prom, graduation, and summer vacation gets here!! I just hope I can stay on track so I’m going to get my mom to do the plan with me so we can get healthy together!
I just have one question: does anybody know when we will be able to order the journals and how much they will cost? I want mine here asap!!

  9. Beibei says:

Can I replace the quest bar with something else?

  10. Angie says:

I’ve always wanted to learn how to make a pumpkin pie!

I can’t wait for the challenge!

  11. Tyler says:

Tried the white chocolate raspberry protein cookies recipe yesterday and they were delicious!! Looking forward to the pumpkin pie recipe. It’s perfect for this time of year and as it is one of my favorite deserts, it would be great to have a ‘healthy’ recipe for it.

  12. Laurence says:

Omg I’m soooo excited by this meal plan and I WANT that planner so bad! Can’t wait 🙂 xo

    1. Kim says:

When is the planner actually coming out? I would love to give it as Christmas gifts to all my gymrat girlfriends!! 🙂

  13. Gwen says:

    YESSSSS!!!! So excited for this!!!!!

And Evan Dollard is super cute! Haha I love his side smile 😉

  14. Erica says:

    Hi Cassey!

Thanks for all of your awesome advice, guidance, and positive energy. 🙂 I love your website and your workout! Question….when you find that you’ve “overindulged” one day or went over your calories with a few sweet treats/too large portion/etc once in a while, how do you adjust for this the rest of the day? Do you try to eat lighter the remainder of the day? Or just continue with your clean eating, balanced, small portions?

    Thanks in advance!! :o)

  15. Ally says:

Woo Cassie!! I WANT that notebook. I am obsessed with planners and I seriously seriously WANT that planner in my hands right NOW. xD Don’t tease us any more!! 😀 Also, it’s a great idea to start early. I want to start the new year at my ideal weight or close to it. I want to maintain it! I am really excited. I think one of the most amazing things you always manage to do is motivate me! 😀 Thank you for being so awesome. x

  16. Jennifer says:

    Whoooooo can’t wait!

.. but December 1st? I live in the Netherlands & we don’t only celebrate christmas, we’ve also got a feast called ‘sinterklaas’ with all sorts of snacks.. December really is the bad food – well actually you could call it a YOLO-month.
I’m worried about shipping delay anyways, so I’d better start January 1st, just to be sure..

Do any of you guys also start a month later?

    1. Helene says:

It’s definitely going to be tough with Sinterklaas, Christmas and New Years (and it’s also my birthday month). I was also thinking about how long it will take to get the journal here.

My starting point kinda depends on when the journal arrives and December will have a lot of cheat meals ;). I do kinda like the idea of not starting on January 1st, since it’s such a cliche, lol 😛

    2. Gwen says:

      Oh! I celebrate Sinterklaas too!
Actually I call it ‘Saint Nicolas’ because I’m from Brussels and I speak french 🙂 Maar ik spreek ook een kleine beetje nederlands (did that make sense?).

I will start the meal plan on December 1st but I will have YOLO days (Sinterklaas, Christmas, New Years) BUT we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Europe! We will eat clean that day so we can enjoy one day off of the meal plan in December. How does that sound to you?

  17. Bethany C. says:

Goodness, the cookies and pie look delicioussss!! Thanksgiving was in October in Canada, but I’m down to do some clean baking! and OMG that’s the bracelet I made for you! YAYYYY!! <3 it matches the mint gradient in your book! 🙂

  18. Vy says:

GAaaahh i want the meal plan already! P.S. would we have to buy the journal…o.O if so please don’t be expensive! I’m poor 🙁

  19. Marcie says:

I’m so excited! I hope I can join in. I’m going on a bus trip to Tennessee with my mom and her senior citizen volunteers that weekend for like a week. The meals are chosen by the restaurants, but I might be able to pay for something else myself. Hopefully this will all work out for me, as well as others who have obstacles in the way. I might just have to teach all the senior citizens pilates 😉 Love you Cassey! And thanks for helping everyone out with your workouts and meal plans <3

  20. LOVING that you did not add any sugar to the mix. Is the almond milk you’re using free of sugar or is it sweetened? Hopefully the FORMER 😉

    1. Aurelia says:

She always uses unsweetened almond milk 🙂

  21. alex says:

ok i’ll get my fat foods and laziness in now hahaha

  22. Laura says:

I want to try so many of these recipes, but have a nut/coconut allergy. Any suggestion for substitutes for almond flour, almond milk, coconut oil, etc.

    1. Gwen says:

Soy milk and olive oil are good for most recipes 🙂 Good luck!

  23. Lisa says:

Do you know how much the plan and journal will cost?

    1. Vy says:

that’s what i wanna know too lol

  24. Paige says:

Cassey I SO can’t wait for this <3 you have already changed my life soooo much! I just know the 12 week plan will finally get me the body I'm trying to achieve.

    1. Aurelia says:

The Same here!! I just can’t wait any longer 😉 WHEN DOES THE PLAN AND JOURNAL COME OUT??? 😉

  25. Rina says:

Please don’t make us diet on Christmas cassey!

    1. Robin says:

I agree!! I’ll be going home and my mom makes such delicious food!

      1. Gwen says:

Yes! Please don’t! Let’s have a YOLO Christmas! Or let’s say we have to drink more water or exercise more the next day or something 🙂 My auntie makes delicious food and it’s very sophisticated (with herbs and spices, rare veggies, etc) and not completely fatty and decadent as my other side of the family would make.

        1. Rina says:

I agree! I wish we could start earlier.. Thanksgiving is no different than Xmas… Xmas is more than one day too! I just want to enjoy the chocolate on Christmas!

  26. Natalie says:

Will the meal plan journal be released soon, I live in Australia and would like to get it before the 90 day diet begins. ^^

  27. Hanh Chu says:

    Hi Cassey,
For the GROCERY list, what type of foods we should get? It would be great if you can come up with some general foods we should get or a video (YAY!) would be great.

  28. Amber says:

Will we know the food we need to buy before Dec. 1st? That way we can get stocked up 🙂

  29. Karen says:

Will the calender be available in the blogilates shop? It looks so pretty 🙂

  30. Lis says:

I just thought you would be interested to know, there are people on etsy selling your clothes for a higher price. just do a search for one of the mottos and youll find tons of them. Same shirt, for $5-10 more. And people are buying them.

Just a little fyi, so you know you’re being ripped off.

    1. Whitney says:

You should also mention this on her facebook page or twitter. I know she responds to those quickly

  31. Amber says:

So excited for December 1st! Wish it was earlier to help me stay on track during Thanksgiving, but at least it will be over Christmas 🙂 I can not wait to do this <3 Just three more weeks 😀

  32. Laura says:

I’m so excited for the meal plan, but I really, really hope that I can do it as well – I’m vegetarian!
And hopefully I can cope with my parents wondering why I suddenly want to buy so much healthy food!:D

    1. Robin says:

Cassey usually incorporates vegans and vegetarians so I’m sure you’ll be able to do it too 🙂

  33. Rulencia says:

I wonder what types of food we should get to go according with our makeover meal plan.

  34. Meagan says:

I am so excited! I admit I will probably cheat on Christmas, but the sweet treats you are sharing will make it a lot easier to stay on track!

Can I ask roughly how many calories are in the daily meal plans? I am breastfeeding so I am wondering if I will need to tweak it to add an extra (healthy) snack or two to keep my supply up.

Thanks! I LOVE blogilates, I used it before I got pregnant with this little guy and am using it now to get back into shape!

  35. jackie.o says:

I will have to start the meal plan in January :/
I have my dad’s bday on the 3rd, mine on the 12th, besties on 13th.
Then I think it would be too difficult to stay on track with xmas and new years.
At least I will be able to know how it works for everyone else by the time I start.
ALSO… Has anyone ever herd of freelee the banana girl?
I have been watching her videos and been trying to go raw vegan myself…

  36. Drea says:

YES!!!!! The journal is cute, I have my own journal, but I will try to fill it up before December 1st LOL guess I best get moving…. I really need someone to stay accountable with so hoping this journal and the blogilates girls help!!

  37. Megan says:

I am so excited to start this December 1st. Thanksgiving is the holiday where I really pig out, whereas Christmas we just have steak, cranberry sauce, and salad. It will be a fresh start after Thanksgiving and a good excuse to stick to healthy eating habits instead of being unhealthy November-January. I find that time to be when I put on my winter weight with all the leftovers in our fridge! The journal looks amazing, too. Thank you for doing this for all of us! I can’t wait to see my own and everyone else’s transformations 🙂

  38. Hafsa says:

    I Aam so EXCITED!!!!

  39. Tessa says:

    I´m absolutely in too!!
But where can I get the “book”? I`m from Germany by the way.

  40. Veronica says:

This is so exciting!!! Mmmm.. that pumpkin pie looks good 🙂

  41. I can’t wait for that pumpkin pie recipe. It looks really good!

  42. Elle says:

How much is the journal going to cost and I’m seconding (thirding) the opinion about getting it to England before the 1st…is it like a standalone journal? I don’t mind being a week behind everyone else as long as there aren’t dates in the journal…

  43. Tiffany says:

So excited to get the journal and a healthy pumpkin pie!! You have just made my Thanksgiving!!! Your awesome and thank you!!!

  44. heather says:

    Love the journal….definitely a must!!!!!!!

  45. Christina says:

wohooo I am also looking foward to start with the plan. But Dec 1st :(( I mean who can resist all those delicious christmas bakery (I am from Switzerland – and we have tons of mean bakery stuff…). Is there any possibility to have a cheat day or something similar to that? Pleeeease say yes 😀

    1. Catta says:

      Agreed!!! 🙂
Same goes for me…I’m from Austria. I’m mostly worried because of Christmas day itself, since it is as important here as Thanksgiving is in the USA: Festivities with friends, family and so on.

      1. Sarah says:

I agree also! I’m from Ireland and Christmas time is an important, exciting and joyful time with friends and family and is going to revolve around delicious food too. It involves relaxing and soaking up the Christmas atmosphere, not being to a strict diet watching what you are eating. Speaking of relative visiting, friend visiting e.t.c, you do NOT to mess with the women of the house. You eat what you are given 😛 As we Irish like to say, ‘Eat up, you’re at your Aunties!’.
I’m going to start the 12 week body makeover plan in January, that way I won’t feel guilty if I did start in December.
        Each to their own. 🙂

        1. Aurelia says:

Same here! I am from germany and will be home visiting my family for christmas!
Perhaps I’m going to start it first of january because the shipping of the journal will last some time anyway!

          1. Sandy says:

I agree as well! I think that it’s better to start the new year well with that challenge but during Christmas???!! Hell no! I wanna enjoy my chocolates and good food =) But if most of you guys are willing to do in December, it’s totally fine! I’ll just have my challenge a month after you =P I’ll see you at the finishing line!

        2. SB says:

Yeah, I’m from Ireland too! Irish mammies do NOT like you turning down their food 😛

  46. Gal says:

I was wondering who is this meal plan suitable for- I’m for example not trying to lose weight, my BMI is normal and all that… I’m already working out 5-6 days a week (blogilates or gym) and I’m just trying to be more toned.

  47. Lizzie says:

    Hi Cassie,
For those of us who don’t live in America (England for me), will we be able to buy & ship the journal in time to start the plan in december? x

also, since you’re arranging it for December, will there be any allowances/tips/ideas for xmas? (although i think i might be okay on that front – My parents always make a really good steak for xmas, so it’ll be mostly protein and veggies for me)

    1. Lucia says:

I was wondering the same thing about the journal. I live in the Czech Republic at the moment so I am worried I won’t get it on time, especially since the start date is Dec. 1.

      1. Farinana says:

Same over here in Germany… :/

    2. Emma says:

I live in Ireland, and was wondering the same thing! I’m pretty sure everyone who isn’t from America is wondering this 🙂 Also, how much is the journal and how much is post & package?

    3. Christina says:

I’m from Germany and I had the same thought!
I have always, always wanted a journal like that!!!! 🙂
Christmas will come early this year with it – and along a great opportunity to already look & feel our best for the start of the new year! =)

    4. Katie says:

I’m also wondering about this, as I’m living in Germany and I already hat the pleasure of international shipping and it taking over two weeks or sometimes a month (because of customs)…

      1. Katie says:

  48. Kelly says:

Thank u for letting us know when we will be beginning our 12wk plan!!! I’m ecstatic & lookin forward to the journal 🙂 you’re absolutely wonderful :):)

  49. Ana says:

I’ll make the cookie today when I get almond milk, can’t wait to taste that goodnesssssss!

  50. Barbara says:

I love everything about this post today! Looking forward to the 12 week challenge and the calendar and the recipes look amazing! I’m holding out for the pumpkin pie recipe tomorrow:)

  51. Deanne says:

I would really love to have the journal. Been looking at weight loss journals and never like them or when I try to make my own.I would love to start this in December.

  52. teilzeitDAU says:

well, i can’t decide whose cookies looked better. i couldn’t really focus on them as all of my attention went to this incredibly cute guy, lol

  53. Tricia says:

Can’t wait for the journal, the AWESOME new episode of Cheap Clean Eats, and the meal plan for December! That’s great it’ll happen on a Sunday and after Thanksgiving. Start the month fresh, and the week fresh. WOOHOO!

  54. Aurelia says:

I am sooooo excited for the plan and the Journal! Every Morning when I am still liying in bed I check your blog … Like now haha
But just one thing I would love to know: on Christmas day is there any treat possible? Because we for instance don’t celebrate thanksgiving but Christmas is huge and I’ll be at the family!

  55. Katie says:

Hello Cassie! I am so excited to get myself that awesome calendar!

I have something else to ask concerning your app! sadlx I can’t use any payment method, cuz I don’t have a credit card and the other payment method is not supported.. is there any other possibility to pay? Like themethod that is used when purchasing an app from the store! I really wanna use your app to the fullest, but I can’t 🙁

  56. Clara says:

Please relase the journal sooner. you have some international popsters who would love to join in and won’t be able to get the journal in time if its released after thanksgiving. Shipping times are crazy long and I would love to join in. But since I am on the other side of the planet,Shipping time and finding substiutes for some of the ingriedients used in the recipes might take some time.
Please don’t forget about us, us internationals love you too!!!! =)

  57. Helene says:

I’m so excited for the new meal plan! When can we order the journal? 😀

  58. Hadassah says:

  59. Hanna says:

can’t wait for the pumpkin pie recipe!! I’ve been pumpkin crazed with this fall weather 🙂

  60. Jessica A says:

Just wondering when you will release the journal and other new products? 🙂

    1. blogilates says:

new products will be released very very soon (this week) – journal – a bit later.

      1. Shingai says:

Hey Cassey! i can not wait to achieve my dream weight goal, and about the internationals thing, yes please release the journal early enough that we can get it before December 1st, ohh and also in the meal plan please tell me for December holidays it will be less strict cuz i really want to follow it but u know we will be travelling for holiday as a family and you know hotel foods are not necessarily the best and am also going for a few camps where i cant really control what my diet will be like, just the portions. so if you can help in any way, thankyou… P.s I cant wait to send you my transformation story after we are done with the 12 weeks ;P *fingers crossed*
        P.p.s your the best! 😀
