A few simple rules from the chart above. Basically, always stay hydrated. That is #1. Then if you lift weights you need to give your muscle the food it needs to BUILD more muscle. That comes from protein. If you did cardio, you need carbs to refuel your energy stores. This means good carbs. I'm not talking bread. I am talking unrefined carbs like sweet potatoes, fruits, Ezekiel bread. Pair with some protein to keep you fuller longer. Hope this chart helps you out a bit :) Feel free to print this out or pin it on Pinterest to help other people looking for fitness and diet tips. Love, Cassey

    Hi Cassey,

Would you recommend the blogilates meal plan (the 3 month one you did last year) for somebody who is underweight and is trying to fatten/tone up? I was under the impression that the meal plan was to lose weight and gain muscle, but for underweight people, would you recommend it? 🙂

    This is helpful! Thanks 🙂

Random question — Cassey, do you have suggestions as to what stretches I should do before every workout (jogging/running, walking, lifting weights, etc)?? I recently strained my foot during a run, thinking I had stretched well beforehand (thought wrong… woops). Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
