If there is one thing you’re gonna do for exercise today – let it be this: I challenge you to 100 burpees. You’re thinking what!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Yeah, get over it because that’s what I thought too when the video idea came out. But I promise you can do it. Just set your mind to it and your body will listen. Everything will be ok. Ok in a I’M DYING I HATE U CASSEY kinda way but whatever right 😉 You won’t regret it! This video was very hard for me. You’ll see that I am out of breath and dying too. YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HATE BURPEES so I decided to tackle the beast head on be like WHAT WHAT YOU WANT SOMMA DIS!!?? And guess what? The fight was brutal but I came out alive and stronger! And so will you!!!

    Did this 5 years ago when it was uploaded and loved it. Going out for burgers tonight so I want to get in some spicy cardio beforehand so I’m still burning cals at supper. I was in way better shape back then so pray for me!!! <3

    Oh no! It is on the JanYOUary 2015 calendar…TOMORROW!

    My big excuse was that I can’t do it, because I live in a flat and it would be too much banging for the neighbours BUT I managed to bag a free room at my gym so now I have no excuse.

    Damn it, my head wants me fit but my body hates me for it! 🙂

    I loved them! Especially got proud of myself when I asked my husband who is in the US Army: “Why you don’t like burpees?”, he said: “Well try to do those 20 non-stop”. It got me grinning and I said: “Well, yesterday I did 100 with different levels”. Haahaaa! Thanks, Cassey!
    Now I promised my husband, that after he comes back from his deployment, we will do this burpee vid together 3:)
    And guys usually think, that girls workouts are boloney. Ha!

      That is purely amazing! I extremely disliked burpees before I joined the Blogilates community. I didn’t like to do 15 of them. I did 100 yesterday, and I’m doing the video again today just because I can (and I are unhealthy today (it was worth it-fried zucchini and chocolate zucchini bread), so I need to burn the calories)! 😀

    I think you are my serious blessing in disguise! I have three month before I move from my home in Australia to my new job in Istanbul, I kick started my healthy lifestyle three months ago and got slugish the last few weeks before I realised I needed reinspiration (that is SO not a word) and I knew I had to commit to blogilates once and for all, so i’m starting september from the 12th and two workouts down I’m going strong.
    I couldn’t thank you enough and can’t wait to tell you how I feel by the end of the month!!!

      Ok I did it woooooop!! Ok so I did have to walk a most of them in after the first 10 and I had to catch up as I’m a lot slower than you. Half way through I nearly gave up but soo glad I didn’t – I’m in a really good mood now even though I’m kind of dying lol. Thanks!! ’till next monday 🙂 xx

    i have taken the challenge and won! i did this after completing the spring fling tone up vid and the heartbeat heaven vid too!!!
    needless to say as a severe asthmatic i am now full of inhaler and buzzing but i refuse to let it stop me from working out and feeling great.
    thanks to cassey and her inspirational workouts i have lost 1.5 stone and still going this is the first time in my adult life and since having five children that i have been below 10 stone so thank you cassey i love you <3 xxx

  34. I accept this challenge! I usually do a home workout of 10 rounds of 10 burpees with 30 seconds rest in between. It is BRUTAL but you come out stronger from it!

    Hey, Cassey! I didn’t get the chance to do it yet, but I’ve decided that I’m going to do it daily for 1 week, since I don’t have the time to do a full workout. But I think burpees are a perfect way for a total body workout and with this 10 different variations it will be fun too! An also, I would love a printable, to have on my phone and do it wherever!     I pushed to make it through the whole thing! I was so proud of myself once my survival was certain. It took me a little while to get through it. The hips one really slowed me down the most. I had to just go at my own pace and rewind the video once I reached 10. I plan to do this at least once a week. This is great!

    I did the challenge yesterday. I loved it but I was struggling with the single arm burpee and somehow my feet got stuck halfway while I was jumping back and kinda hurt my right ankle. Today it hurts enough to think twice about working out. It there’s anything I should do or not do? or would it just go away in the next few days?

    The 100 Burpee Burnout was CRAZY! But I did it!!! I also shared it on my FB and challenged my friends & family to also try it, I think only 1 person did, haha. But I did it Saturday and Sunday my shoulders and hands were sore on the sides by my pinkies.

    I did this yesterday I tap tap burpees the ones you hit your hips on each side were hard for me cus it seems like it took forever to get down on my elbows and back up lol (impatient) my ANSOLUTE FAVORITE were theBURPEE TUCK JUMPS at the end! Just like you are good with core my legs are the strongest part if my body lol! There were a few times I wanted to cry but I took a huge breath and told myself I could do it! And guess what!?? I did! Along with four nor poppilates videos to ensure my hour! Thank you so much for this ill be sure to do it again!

    Hey Cassie, thanks for this challenge. I cannot say which one I liked as it was a matter of surviving rather than enjoying what I was doing.
    I should have known better not to take any challenge that comes to me though, as I am in my forties 🙂 Yesterday I did 85 burpees and then fell on the floor, watching you finishing them off. I then crawled into bed and … slept for an hour although it was lunch time. I am aching so badly today that I can only stretch and suffer. Great fun and will continue until I am able to finish them off. Even if I die.
    I hope I won’t die 🙂

    Woohoo. That is so amazing! After 10 regular ones I usually feel like pretty exhausted. BUT… I did it. For me the first few burpees were the hardest ones. The variations got more challenging but I was more determined and proud of myself. “You can’t stop now!” 😉

    I really have no idea what I was thinking. It was cardio day today, so first I did POP Cardio: Heart Throbber, then 2 rounds of the POP Cardio: Fat Melting Routine, then I did the 100 Burpee Burnout, then rested for a couple of minutes and something possessed me to do it again… so I did.

    I’m no burpee virgin but I’ll definitely have to improve my performance! Had to take 30 seconds every 10-20 just to keep from passing the heck out. Well done to everyone that accepted this challenge, this exercise is one of my least favorites if not my very least and I was quick to say “no way, not ever!” the only reason I decided to do this was because I was inspired by everyone else so cheers 🙂

    awesome!!!
    i did something similar last week: i wanted to do some conditioning, so i did 10 rounds of rope skipping (one round = 3 minutes) with 1 minute break in between. BUT for each time i had to stop skipping i had to do 3 burpees. so i did the 30 minutes of rope skipping and 72 burpees. it was amazing! so i will definitely try this one TODAY!

    I just finished! Well… not JUST, I did it after 50 minutes of full body videos and POP Cardio Heart Throbber, so I had to lie in the floor for about 10 minutes and die when I was finished. I seriously have never sweat so much in my entire life! The one armed ones are the worst, I kept tumbling over! but I made it, and now I’m about to go devour some apple cinnamon protein pancakes.       My hands hurt too! I realized midway that I was kinda raising them up and not keeping them flat, so I think that has to do with it for me at least.

      Least favorite by FAR: single-arm.

    Oh my gosh! 🙂 I accepted the challenge, and I just went right into it. It was really hard but really satisfying!! (When I was done;) ) I think the hardest one was the last one, and the up up down down burpee 😛 Loved it though!

    Burpees are killer!! But…..that’s not real burpees..(at least not according to crossfit standards) chest and hips should touch the ground. Try doing burpees where you finish each burpee off with a box jump. That’s hard!! Last workout we did 55 such burpees (+ some other stuff as well in between – no brakes )…I died a bit.. Or another one: every second minute you do 10 burpees and 10 pushups. If you finish before the 2 minutes are up, you get to rest! I challenge you! Burpees are so love and hate!!

    I just recently found your website while looking for vegan meal plans. I have to say that I love it! Your so motivational and it really inspires me =) Im an ex judo athlete that was training for the olympics until I injured my ankle. Fast forward 15 years and I’ve now had 3 surgeries and can’t do much impact on it like running. I’ve gained about 20lbs and want to get it off! I’ve been a vegan for over 5 years now and am very into juicing. I love your low cal recipes and your fun workouts! Thanks for helping me get back into shape in a fun way.

    cassey, gurl.. lemme tell you sumfinnnnnnn. I AM SWEATING. my muscles gave out towards the end but I killed it, I was deff in beast mode. woooooooohoooooooo. I really hated the hip twist I could barley do them, but I kept trying, ! yay everyone that did this, good job , !

    It’s pretty challenging, but i did the whole thing without stopping! This is gonna sound pretty cheesy, but i cried tears of joy when we were at the 90% hah, because i was really afraid of doing this but i realized i really am worth all the effort and I can’t thank you enough for everything you do for us.. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH GIRL! You are honestly my hero. Thank you for being such a huge part of my happiness and confidence, you truly help me having a much healthier and happier life. I’m feeling stronger everyday! Thank you so much for making me appreciate life a little – whole lot – more. You are such an inspiration.

    I am running a half marathon tomorrow… this is probably the worst idea I’ve had but I cannot walk away from a challenge 🙂 Hey, at least everyone behind me in the race can stare at my lovely sculpted behind – as I’m sure it will be after 100 freakin burpees!!!
