Not ignoring you. Promise.

Let me be super transparent about natural fibers. I’ve actually been working on this for a year now, and umm I really thought this would be easier. Just take our current design and put a new natural fiber fabric on and boom, done!

No no no.

Unfortunately, boom done is not happening. Instead, we’re dealing with fabric stretching out and STAYING stretched out, holes, and other issues. We’re so used to the durability, resilience, and sweat-wicking of polyester and nylon in activewear, and it’s been a challenge to find a suitable natural-fiber match. The other major hurdle? Cost.

So there are a few things I’m trying to work with so you’re not disappointed when I launch. Which btw was supposed to happen this spring, but we had to push back to fall, and now I’m not even sure we’re going to make that.

So frustration but… gotta get it right.

If you’re panicking about me changing the fabric, don’t worry! This collection will be its own thing! ButterSmooth and Cloud fabric are here to stay.

Anyway. It’s been a struggle and I’m working with several different manufacturers to source the perfect natural fiber fabric for Popflex. As you can see, there’s a give and take here, so just trying to find the right balance.
