Easy Banana Bread (or muffin) Recipe! + CRAZY CYBER MONDAY DEALS!

Hey POPsters!

I was having a lil fun in the kitchen yesterday and came up with the easy banana bread recipe. Actually, the truth is i was trying to make muffins but they didn’t fluff enough so now I am calling it bread!! Take a look:

Either way, it was still REALLY GOOD!!!!! It wasn’t too sweet. You could of course add Stevia if you’d like, but I thought it was perfect as is. It was super moist and dense. Remember, you need to train your tastebuds to not constantly crave that addictive quality of sugar and your body will be much much happier and healthier!

Now onto more shopping! I hope I have better luck online today. If anyone knows of any deals on Nike Frees please tell me! I really want some new colors! Now for you…here are the latest crazy cray deals in the shop!

I was thinking last night…how do we outdo Black Friday? Well, here it is POPsters!!! The first deal is fabulous, it’s basically 20% off your entire purchase. The second deal is kinda of ridic..$25 off anything $100 and over. Can you just think for a moment what that means on the Beverly Bowtie Gym Bag (worth $149)? Yeah.

AMAZING DEAL. But what’s more amazing???!! Any orders over $200 gets a FREE YOGA BAG. ANY YOGA BAG. WHAT!!?????

That’s the pleated pocket yoga bag that was featured in SHAPE Magazine. It’s $110. But there are others…worth up to $126! So That basically means that if you order $200, it’d be like you’re only spending $74.

Yes go nuts today guys and get your holiday shopping done!

I’m working on a cool Thursday vid for you that I think you’ll enjoy!!! Or hate. And ahhh the December Calendar is gonna be here soon. Are you still motivated? I hope you are! Jan is coming up and it will be a new year, but don’t wait. The time is NOW. The gym is empty. HOG THOSE MACHINES!!! It’s all yours. When everyone else is being lazy and dormant, kick it up a notch. You’ll be so fit by Jan!

Love you,

<3 Cassey

i tried this and i came out with a result of very hard muffins, they werent moist and wasnt that tasty. did anyone else get results like that or should i try again?

  2. sandy says:

can you use any kind of oats, for instance quick oats?

  3. Rebekah says:

I really didn’t like this one. It was really plain tasting. If I make it again I’ll add something sweet. On the other hand I absolutely loved the banana bread and apple sauce recipe! I would highly recommend that one!!!

  4. Emily says:

I accidentally used the wrong conversion for a cup of oats, so added far too many, but I ended up mashing them in with some light philidelphia and tasted amazing 😀 thanks cassey! ❤️

    1. Jessica says:

how many should 1 cup be?

  5. Sophie says:

This recipe was delicious! Since I didn’t have any eggs, I substituted applesauce (it’s something I do in a lot of recipes to avoid the extra butter, or if I want an apple-like flavor), and they turned out great! Also, i added a pinch of baking powder and a pinch of baking soda like one comment suggested, which did make them puff wonderfully.

  6. Cesia says:

I would like to know how many calories is this? And for how many people this is for.
    Thanks

    1. Rose says:

454 calories for the whole recipe. Just divide the amount of servings from 454 and you will get to know how many calories you are eating 🙂 ex: if I make 4 muffins out of the whole recipe that would be 113.5 calories per muffin!

  7. Karen says:

Super yummy.i mixed in a little bit of cinnamon and vanilla extract. I made some with almonds on top, bran cereal, nutmeg, or a little dash of cinnamon! Super filling, so cute, and delicious. I put a pinch of baking soda and a pinch of baking powder, and they fluffed nicely!

  8. Nicole says:

How many bananas do you use? it says one it just doesnt seem like a lot.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

  10. Génesis says:

Can i use normal milk instead?

    1. Kayley says:

i think u can except it just tastes better with almond milk

  11. Marcia says:

I was wondering what is the difference between almond milk and normal say 1% milk. Almond milk is lactose free but what is the difference if you use it in a recipe. Does it make it taste different or is almond milk just a healthier substitute? I love you revenues though 🙂 thanks!

    1. Danya says:

It has less calories. A lot less! And has more calcium than regular 2% milk. (:

  12. Elizabeth Mears says:

I don’t have almond milk. What can I use instead?

    1. Kayley says:

regular milk, dairy free whatever kind of milk u hv

  13. Abby says:

These were great! I did the math for calories:
17 cal for 1 large egg white (I used pretty close to two)
    105 cal for a medium sized banana ( 7-8in)
75 cal for the oats I used
15 cal for the almond milk I used
Thats 229 calories and I made 6 muffins making them about 38 calories a piece!! wow!
I feel so great about eating these!! Definitely going to be using this recipe again!

    1. Abby says:

Oops! I meant 300 cal for the oats instead of 75! Big difference! But that still comes out to 454 for the whole thing, making it 75/76 calories a muffin. Still not bad in my books!

  14. Nice Recipe..thanks for posting!

  15. Mell says:

how many egg whites is 1/4 cup? 🙂

    1. Abby says:

for me it was a little less than two!

Hi Cassey, I am so in love with all your recipes! They are always so easy and jummie! I want to thank you for every thing you did for me! Because since I discovered your recipes, I do not have to eat al those unhealthy products from the market. I tried this banana bread and it is delicious! Next time I will also add some walnuts or even peanuts! I think that will taste great too! Could you an other FOOD BITES video soon? I like them very much! You are amazing! And what ever happened to you (as you mentioned in your video), think of everybody who loves you and of everybody who you are helping! We love you all! Xox

Hey Cassie! 🙂 i’m from Norway, and i’m a huge fan! I love your workouts, esspesially the food baby HIIT workout. it’s so hard! you really motivate me, and i don’t know what i would do without you. I know you love to use bananas in your recipes so i have a great recipe for you! it’s a chocolate-banana ice-cream 😀 it’s sooooo good!! you just freeze one banana and you put it in a blender and mix it. You may have to add a bit of milk, because when it’s frozen it’s really hard to mix. Then you take a tsp of cocoa powder and blend, and it’s finished! soo yummy 😀

  18. Mina says:

Hey Cassey! Amazing sale!!! Now I wish I waited until this week to make my purchase then I could have gotten the yoga bag too. 🙁

  19. Jax says:

    Hey Cassie,

Great recipe. Just a quick tip: If you want to make the muffins fluff up, just ad about a 1/4 to 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda =)

    LOVE your blog!!

  20. Diane says:

Hi Cassey. Thanks for posting this recipie but I have a question on the oats. Are they just rolled oats or steel cut? Can’t tell by the picture. Thanks! =)

  21. Maribel Morgan says:

If you want them to fluff up ska rise just add done baking powder I’d start with a teaspoon for a test batch then add a bit more the next time until they rise as much ad you’d like them to, But to much baking powder can give a strange after taste .

  22. Brittany says:

Hey Cassey! So for some reason on the online store everything costs $149.99 even the necklaces and stuff. I’m afraid to buy anything in case it actually charges that amount. Is this just a glitch of what?

  23. Victoria says:

Amazing!! I made them this morning and added 1/2 cup blueberries. They turned out really good and though not very sweet, I prefer it that way. I love how simple your recipes are 😉

  24. Sarah says:

Hey Cassey! Just wondering – how did you divide up the servings? I found these nutrition facts for the whole batch and I wasn’t sure how to divide it up: 425 cals, 81 carbs, 6 fat, 17 protein, 11 fiber. I was thinking 4 servings? So just a little over 100 cals each?

    1. Kaitlyn says:

i’m making this right now.. for me, it made about 9 servings.

  25. Heather says:

I know this might seem kind of retarded on my part but there are no instructions for this recipe. I wanna try it but I wanna make sure that I do it right!

    1. blogilates says:

just mash it all up and stick it in the oven in either cupcake cups or in a cupcake tin! 350F for 15-20 min.

  26. Sarah says:

Hello, do you know how many calories are in each muffin?

  27. Molly M says:

as a vegan recipe, I’m just gonna double the banana, hopefully it works!

    1. Brittany says:

i had success with an egg replacer and with a flax egg

  28. Sarah says:
