Cardio Ballet Leg Challenge!
Today’s new video is a fun one! I was inspired to do a quick Cardio Ballet Challenge to get your heart pumping and your legs strong! There’s one main move that I want you to practice first before we get into it. There are also a lot of kicking lunges and kicking lunge hops. You know what that means. Butt. Quads. Calves. Oh My.
The song here is Lana del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” remix. Love this song right now.
I want you to push your shoulders away from your ears and point your toes as much as you can! Graceful fingers. Pretend you are a dancer. Doesn’t matter how you look. I just want you to work hard and lift high! Jump high! This is what will get you burning those calories quick. And just so you know…dance is one of the most fun ways to get your cardio in. Seriously. If you really push hard and hit your moves, and keep rehearsing over and over again, it’s pretty much like HIIT. A very stylish form of HIIT!
What did you do this Labor Day Weekend? I unfortunately did not get to go jet skiing (boo) but I did get these pretty succulents. Look!
They make me happy and they are currently sitting right beside me on my desk. Look at those itty bitty yellow flowers! So adorbs I can’t even. No pets for me at the moment, so plants will fill that void for now.
