HUGE Blogilates App Update + Life Update!!

I have a new and updated app! The one in this post is outdated. Click HERE to access Body by Blogilates!

Hey guys! So if you haven’t heard, you must hear now! The Blogilates App just had a HUGE update that allows you to have…

1. PROFILES: YAY! I listened to all of your feedback and then worked with my developer the past few months to make your suggestion become a reality! I am here to serve YOU so please, keep telling me how we can make the Blogilates Community a better and more motivating experience for you.

2. FOLLOWERS: You can now follow your favorite POPsters and also gain followers too. So you know what to do…post in the forum more! By the way, who wants a follow from me!?

3. KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE WITH REPORTING: Get friendly and feel safe to share your stories and pics. We are all here to help each other out. If you ever see anything inappropriate, there’s a new “Report” button underneath the comments. There  has rarely been anything alarming since you’re all angels, but you know, just in case.

4. BEFORE & AFTER: The next cool thing that you suggested was a “Before & After” section in the forum! Well, here it is guys!

5. CLIP YOUR FAVES: Because there’s so much great content on the app, my developers and I wanted to help you save your fave posts in the app without having to screenshot pics of them to save in your photo album (ya feel?). So now you can click on the paperclip button and save whatever you like from fave vids to fave recipes to fave posts in the forum!

With bloggers Whitney from Eco Vegan Gal and Monica from Run Eat Repeat

Yesterday I attended ExpoWest at the Anaheim Convention Center and sampled so much vegan meat, dairy free cheese, and coconut water that my belly nearly popped! Haha. I wore a restrictive dress on purpose to make sure I wouldn’t overeat but my eyes were too determined. Well…at least I didn’t fall into a food coma. I saw my friends from at Quest Nutrition, Miracle Noodle, Chobani, Vitacoco, and Justin’s there! If you’ve never been, you should def go. It was my second year here and you will literally see every food brand (big ones and many up and coming ones, like thousands) you could ever imagine here. Everyone has awesome booths and PLENTY of food to share! You’ll see the latest food trends and get to taste everything first hand. I know there’s an ExpoEast as well, so for those of you on the right coast, check when this convention comes to you. Tickets are free if you’re press (anyone from blogger, YouTuber to newspaper or magazine writer counts as press) or a retailer looking to buy product for your store if you apply for a badge early.

Me on the beach today dancing in foam.

I started off my weekend with a crazy intense HIIT workout that nearly killed me. I mean, really. I got dizzy!!! Super winded. I usually don’t get this way but I pushed a little too hard going from one move to the next to the next. I took breaks and drank water but still felt like my world was on a bokeh instagram filter. It didn’t help that I had been traveling so much and not working out as much. I felt like I lost my strength. I was a bit disappointed but not surprised. It will take some more sessions like today before I get used to going crazy crazy hard again and I’m up for the challenge.

So the takeaway lesson here is this. I want you to push yourself hard, but know when to stop. If you push too hard when you’re not ready for it, like with anything in life, things will break. Listen to your body. And don’t ever feel bad for stopping. It’s ok. It takes time, it’s a journey, and you will get stronger as you keep practicing. Everybody, including me, is learning constantly.

So anyway, I decided I needed to just go chill on the beach today because I needed to relax (been staying up til 3am and 5am too much this week working) plus the workout killed me. It was nice laying underneath the sun and listening to waves crash. It was a good time out. Where do you guys like to go for some quality detox time?

Sneak peek inside by sketch book…

This week was all about fashion design and graphic design for me! I simply cannot wait til you guys get to touch and feel the fabric and the clothes I am making for you. It’s high fashion high intensity activewear like you’ve never seen before. So many fun and feminine accents on sporty, functional pieces in bright colors. After much much much much thinking and doodling, I finally came up with the name of the line and the logo!! The line is called BODYPOP© and it will feature my custom blend Popflex™ 4 way stretch fabric that passes “The Squat Test” (aka when you squat and check your booty in the mirror your underwear won’t show through).

Now, before I leave you, I’d like to share a funny card with you…

Girl, I feel you.

Stay strong and live it up POPsters! See you in the App! I’ll be going on a follow spree soon!

Hello! I downloaded the app, but I’m unable to cast the videos on to my TV. Any suggestions to solve this issue?

  2. Liz K says:

I’m having the same problem – the May workouts won’t load. And like others, I’ve had this problem in the past with previous months. Help!

  3. Hanne says:

The May calendar is not loading. In April it already took about 5 days before it loaded. And now it even seems to going to take longer. Is the app not being supported anymore? The developer doesn’t seem to have a way to make notice of any problems. I hope this bug will be fixed since I really like the app.

  4. Lorita says:

The May calendar is not showing me the workouts, I purchased this on April 5 and it shows that I should have workouts until May 6 but nothing is showing up for May. I am using the app and had no problems seeing the April workouts.

    1. Amanda says:

      I’m having the same problem!

      Neither can I 😢

    1. e_flores14@hotmail.com says:

      Ditto. It’s not working

I love this perfect app 🙂

  9. Stephanie says:

I love the app but lately I’ve had experienced lots of crashing. Its no big deal when I scrolling through the forum but its super disappointing when I’m in the middle of a video and working out 🙁

  10. Alice says:

I loved the app when I had it on Android, but now I have a Windows phone and I really miss the motivation. If you could release a Windows App that would be amazing!!!
    Have a nice day 🙂

  11. Anna says:

Hey Cassey, you’re just awesome !
Is your app will be available soon on Windows Phone ?

  12. Corina says:

I LOVE the app and I use it daily! One major thing that I wish would be added is a way to know if someone has commented on your post or replied to you on a different post!

  13. Brandie says:

Hello Cassey! I had downloaded your app and purchased the beginner workout calendar and everything is really great and all BUT I can’t for the life of me figure out how to post in the forums! Please help me I would appreciate it very much! Thanks!

  14. I couldn’t resist commenting. Very well written!

  15. Michelle L says:

Please make the app available for the kindle fire in the amazon.com store.

    1. Naira says:

      Yes!!! please!!!

  16. Britney says:

It would be nice if you didn’t have to have a Twitter, or Facebook to post and do other stuff in the app. Like as you have a blogilates profile in itself. I personally don’t plan on making a twitter again or re activating facebook, so it would be a nice touch in my opinion. Not SUPER necessary but I think it would be a cool feature for those who don’t have other accounts. (:

    1. Ayah Aljaser says:

I agree with you 110%! I don’t own a Facebook nor a twitter, and I know a lot of people that don’t either. That would be very convinent to a lot of other people to. A lot of other apps that require a profile have an email option ti stray of a Facebook or a twitter. That would be so amazing if you could do that. Thanks Cassey!! 🙂

    2. Alec says:

Indeed I agree as well. Months ago I already shut down all my twitter, facebook and other accounts and for sure won’t open any again.

    3. Erika says:

Hello! Has anyone replied to you? I need to login to the app but not through fb or twitter

  17. Maja says:

Hey Cassey, where’s the dress from? It’s stunning and looks wonderful on you 🙂

  18. Flo says:

My Android phone is too outdated for the app and I feel left out of the community. I think a web-based app or forum would have been better.

  19. Cristina says:

hey, could you make the app compatible with older versions of Android such as frozen yogurt? would really love to download it but I cannot. Thank you!

  20. Adrienne says:

So glad I got off the couch today and happened upon ur Pilates for beginners! Burrrrnnnnnnn baby burn… but felt so so good, thank you for awakening something in me! I think I’m going to enjoy this journey. Keep dancing!!

  21. Samantha says:

Hi Cassey! Can you develop the app for the Windows phone? I know it’s not as popular as the android or iphone, but I think it would definitely give a lot of others access to the wonderful blogilates community!

    1. Diana says:

PLease Cassey do a Windows phone version!!! =)

      1. Rose says:

YES, pretty please. Windows support all the way!

  22. Yasmeen says:

Oh no my comment is missing….just now I comment with all my feelings n love for you Cassey n for your personality. …oh noooo…Anyways v all lov you n hope to be friends forever n forever be my fitness guru. …One REQUEST Cassey pls also include PAYPAL Option in your app as to pay monthly subscription. I dnt feel safe giving all credit card details becoz happened with me many times that my card is been misused. I am not talking about your site or anything with u. I experienced this sort of things many time wenever I used online payment method. I feel very safe with paypal its easy n safe to use. Plsss plssss Cassey.. Thank you.

  23. Laura says:

I would love to have this app, but have a windows phone. Is it also going to be available in the windows store???
    xx Laura

  24. nala says:

I really love the updates on the app! It’s wonderful!! I love the new sketches too! I can’t wait to see them! Thanks so much for everything!!!

    ohthatnana.blogspot.com

  25. Cassy says:

Cassie, I was wondering if you are going to integrate the forums and profiles onto the blog site? I don’t have a smart phone and I’m beginning to feel left out of the community with all these new exciting app things. I am part of other weight loss communities but I find that they have all turned sour in one way or another (people just become mean and judgy), but I never find that with the Blogilates community – everyone is awesome and helpful!!! So I’d really like to be able to participate more through my computer?
    Also…
Even though I can’t participate (yet? hopefully?), I want to than you for doing this. You’re incredible and selfless in so many ways.

    1. Cassy says:

OMG I meant CASSEY!!! I feel so bad – it drives me nuts when people misspell my name too!!! ):

  26. Stephanie M. says:

iPad app pretty pretty please. It’s too tiny for my tablet! Also, I like to relax by going hiking somewhere in the mountains or desert since I’m nowhere near an ocean :\

  27. Rean says:

    Hi Cassey,

I love the design of the design! I’m totally looking forward to your new series of design. And the picture of you dancing on the beach is gorgeous!

    Rean

  28. Lydia says:

    Will there be leotards? 😀

  29. Sheena says:

    Your sketch looks so cute!
Is your activewear enviromentally conscious? (Eg fabric manufactured in safe conditions and waste disposed of properly, fair pay and safe working conditions for workers)

    1. Anna says:

Good point! Thank you for saying something 🙂

  30. Leanne says:

So happy with the blogilates app profile! You work so hard for us and we love you!

  31. Lauren Ruffin says:

When your BodyPop line is tangible you should do a fashion show with real live popsters as the models….including yourself!! Just something to think about 🙂

    Much Love From Maryland <3

  32. Miss Myzaree says:

Thank you for all your hard work!

  33. Jennifer says:

That photo of you on the beach is stunning! I wish I had that problem of overworking myself… I usually under-work myself, to be honest. But of course, it’s best to have a healthy medium.
Although I’ve been doing your workouts for over half a year now, I’ve recently started seeing results (as in my abs are shining through) because I’m finally cutting out the carbs and adding a bunch of veggies. Being Vietnamese and only 15, it’s hard to cut out the carbs that are present in every meal as rice or noodles… But veggies are the love of my life now, all thanks to you!
Congrats truly on your clothing line. The concept of that fabric is interesting and I can’t wait to see your cute designs!! 😀
As for the app, I have a couple of problems/suggestions:
    1. The app keeps crashing when I try to sync it w/ Twitter. (I logged out once and couldn’t log back in afterwards! D:)
    2. It would be awesome if we could search for people, as I can’t find you. 🙁
    3. If we could make our own account, instead of syncing through Twitter and FB.
    4. That’s it 🙂
Also, I have a couple of workout requests! Definitely more ab workouts that don’t require crunches because my neck can’t stand it (no matter how often I try to use my abs), particularly like the 5 Minute Ab Express, which I am LOVING. Also more cardio dance workouts! Annnd, lots of people have been wanting a k-pop song workout and although I don’t really care about that, many seem to want it so… 🙂

    Love you lots,
    Jennifer

  34. Jackie says:

I’ve downloaded the update of your app and I love it! thank you!
I’m also happy to see you took time for you to relax and take a rest! love going to the beach too!
ANd I love love love the name of your line!! can’t wait to see the items and buy them lol
    Love you Cassey!
(wow, there’s a lot of love in my message LOL)

  35. Danae says:

Oh man, I so want some pants that pass the squat test!

  36. Sarah says:

I’d love to see a food journal in the app! It would be so much easier than buying journals every year… A grocery checklist (that we can actually check off, like the workout section) would be useful.

    1. Meghan says:

      Yes! I would love that!

  37. A says:

I’d love to have the app but apparently my android is too outdated because it says it’s incompatible with my device.

  38. Kayla says:

I also hope to see the app comming to windows soon. i always feel so left out :/

    1. Samantha says:

YES! Need it on windows phones 🙂

    2. Jessica says:

Agreed! Would love a Windows phone app.

    3. Judith says:

God yes! Window’s people can’t have anything! No instagram or anything! :/

    4. impish.smile says:

Please, try to work on the Windows Phone app 🙂 I’d love that 🙂

    5. anna says:

ditto. I was really looking forward to the community because I thought it would be we based and now I can’t get onto it 🙁

      1. anna says:

        *web based

  39. Anna says:

Gurrl, I’m loven’ your dress, + I can’t wait for the BODYPOP line to come out!!!

  40. Aura says:

Wow, take care Cassey! You work really hard to bring us excellent workouts, excellent apps, excellent workout gear, excellent advise… everything… you have to also take care of yourself as well! I really appreciate all you effort!

The new app updates are amazing! I would like to suggest adding a notification option to know if someone replied on a comment you made or a way to check the posts where I posted a comment… the way it works now it’s impossible to look back to those as there are new posts every minute… What do you think?? And maybe also a search option to look for popsters? 🙂

And OMG! I can’t wait for the new BODYPOP gear to be available! I love your designs and even if I workout with your videos at home I love to feel beautiful with your clothes! They are so cute, comfy and vibrant!! Will the line include sport bras?? Hope so!! I can’t find cute colorful bras to match your tops 😉

    Much love from Barcelona <3

  41. Maxine says:

Oh Cassey, you are such an inspiration! Lately I’ve been pushing myself super hard because I’ve had so many fitness goals to achieve so a lot of days I actually do pop-pilates then go to the gym and lift. The results I’m seeing are incredible, my six pack is finally coming in, my thigh gap is nice and defined, and my arms are super toned.

But as a student, unfortunately my social life is suffering from my dedication to this lifestyle. Lately I’ve had to decline going out drinking or to all these unhealthy food restaurants. I’ve decided to give up alcohol for lent so that my progress is no longer hindered by all those toxins, but I was wondering if you could compile some sort of guide on how to order healthy food in a restaurant- for example what are the safest options to order in places like thai, indian, chinese, american cuisine, etc. Only one of my friends is willing to come to some of the wonderful vegan restaurants available in London so it would be nice to not be so afraid of going out to meals with my friends every now and then.

    1. Aura says:

I’m not an expert and probably Cassey or other popsters would now more about which food you can order in restaurants. But I would tell you not to shut yourself from everything. It’s ok to every now and then indulge in some YOLO meal or have a cocktail one night… you don’t need to drink as much as your friends or always eat out with them… and when you do and you don’t want to do a yolo meal try to eat the healthiest option, any dish with veggies or proteins and no fried food… I don’t know! You already know what is healthy so you can judge from the menu… I guess if you go to a fast food restaurant it will be difficult, but from a specialized restaurant like a thai, indian or chinese I’m sure you can find a healthy option 🙂 Besides! You seem to be working out a lot! I’m sure you wouldn’t see any of your progress compromised 😉 Hope I helped you in any way!

    2. Lana says:

As Aura said, don’t shut yourself out from enjoying spending time with your friends. A good option is to eat like you regularly do just before you go out and then order a cup of tea or a vegetable soup in the restaurant. In the summer, when you can eat out, my friends and I go to different take outs (I’m a vegeterian, they’re not) – I get falafel and they get kebabs and then we eat together on a bench. I’m sure you can find a place in London that has a healthy and unhealthy option close together. You can always ask for modifications. Choose an option that is not prepared in advance – for example, in my fave restaurant I always order an avocado salad without cheese and pepper. It’s never a problem if you ask nicely. Another thing I like to do is split a meal – if I eat out with my bf, I eat the veggies and he eats the meat and dessert – it makes both of us happy. 😛

  42. steph says:

wow I admire you so much for all your hard work! I’ve got one question though: Will the app be available on Blackberry OS anytime soon?

  43. Sarika says:

I totally understand the whole don’t-push-yourself-TOO-much thing: just this morning, I got revved up to do the 100 Burpee workout but by the time I got to 30 I started to feel a bit sick. I figured it was probably
because I was doing such intense exercise on an empty stomach, so I had breakfast and waited a bit – then I killed it goood ;D But I’m really glad I stopped and listened to my body instead of just waving it away and treating it as me not wanting to do it.
I LOVE the look of the sketches, I can’t wait for BODYPOP to come out! I’m going to start saving up so I can go crazy once it’s released! ;D x

  44. Cheana says:

    I love the update! 🙂
But what does that smilie face mean?
And why doesn’t my profile pic show up? (using twitter to login)

    Thanks <3

  45. Emily Jo says:

Cassey thanks for sharing such a big part of your life with us! =D It really is encouraging to see how real and down to earth you are- being a regular gal just like the rest of us- but going for your dreams without fear!!! I am excited to try the app, hooray!

This weekend I visited my Grandma who I hadn’t seen in months, and while I hadn’t noticed the progress myself, she was really impressed with how much weight I lost! I don’t think the number was such a big deal, because it’s been in small increments, but the toning since I started working out has shown a FAST difference! It was the first time I wore a tight shirt in a very long time!

  46. Tricia says:

Congratultions Cassey on your new clothing line. I know this has been a dream of yours. You deserve all the success in the world!

  47. Ana says:

Cassey it would be nice if you didn’t have to have facebook or twitter on your app. Because I don’t have ether one but I really want to be apart of it! So maybe that can change,? Thanks for all you do!

  48. Courtney says:

Hi Cassey! Any hopes of a Windows App???

  49. Nik says:

    Hey Cassey,
I’m so excited for your new activewear line.
It would be really awesome if your sports bras could support and provide lift for DDs.
    😀 <3

  50. Tishana says:

Thanks so much for updates!!! Love love love the favorites! I have a billion recipe screen shots lol!

  51. Andrea says:

Can you make the app available for windows phones?

  52. Anna says:

I needed to hear the thing about knowing when to stop. I went crazy crazy hard this week, a little too hard and now my lower back is aching in a NOT good pain kind of way. I’ll feel better now about taking it a LITTLE easier next week.

  53. Mekana says:

Love LOVE the new updates Cassey! Thanks so much for always taking our feedback into consideration and trying to improve the app. I am so excited to be using it more. Also, my anticipation for the BODYPOP gets bigger everyday. I can not wait until it is released 😀

  54. Nessie says:

I hope the app will be available soon on Windows Phone… I wish i had it…

  55. Chelsea says:

I’m having issues connecting to my twitter through the app. It makes me sad because I can’t have a profile or comment or like or post in the forums. I don’t know if its just me or if others have had this problem. Help!

  56. Nicole says:

Hey Cassey! I wanted you to give a review on Activate Water! Its zero calories and full of vitamins! I really want to try some, but not sure if its really that “good” for you or not.
    https://activatedrinks.com/#/activate

  57. Ayse says:

how can I find my profile?

  58. Diana says:

Cassey I have two suggestions for the app.

    1. Include a search function. A bunch of us are in a facebook group and I would like to follow those people on the blogilates app but I don’t know how to find them

    2. Make your blog accessible from the app

Thanks, Cassey. These are little improvements but it really is a great app!

  59. Emily says:

Cassey, please do The Blogilates App available for Windows Phone! Thank you 🙂

  60. Liz says:

when I try to make an app account with twitter, the app crashes everytime. I unfortunately don’t have Facebook. help!

  61. Nicki says:

    I don’t have ‘Before & After’ section, I don’t know why 🙁

  62. Diane says:

Could the app be available on tablets?

    1. S says:

Yes, that would be really nice!

    2. Kati says:

Hey guys, I think you can just install the app on your tablet anyway. I have an iPad and it worked for me!
      Good luck 🙂

  63. Kat* says:

Love you so much Cassey!!! I wish I could access the App but as a Blackberry user I will have to wait until I get a new contract (roll on June!), but thank you so much for your never-ending dedication to fitness, encouraging us POPsters and sharing your beautiful creativity with all of us. I feel so fortunate to have found Blogilates and I couldn’t imagine my life without it now! <3 <3 <3 (P.S. Can't WAIT to buy loads of BODYPOP gear! :-D)

  64. Emma-Louise Murphy says:

    Hi Cassey,
I just wanted to say your entire life is an inspiration. You followed your dreams and are a huge success. You work so hard to help others, myself included, and it’s so noble of you. You are an amazing person and I just wanted to say thank you.

Keep doing what you’re doing. We all appreciate it. Can’t wait for the new clothing line. Love the update.

    Thanks,
    Emma-Lou x
