I did a full length video that truly explains the principles behind some very basic Pilates exercises. If you’ve tried my set of POP Pilates workouts already out there, you may have felt like a lot of the moves were very advanced. Well, they are advanced. Don’t be intimidated. You’ll get there one day, start with this beginner’s video first.

You’ll learn about breathing, control, and proper form. Good workout for those of you who have never done Pilates before and good knowledge for you guys who have been with me for a WHILE now.

I really didn’t think it would be this long, but I guess with all of the explaining it just had to be! I hope you enjoy!

    Hi Cassey,
    You’ve changed the website and I’m finding it so hard to search for beginners’ exercises. It just doesn’t work. Please consider using the same search menu again you did on your old website.

    hi Cassey!
    this is my 3rd day doing the beginners workout. but I wanted to know, how many repetition to doing all the excercise to get the best result? or was it enough to do one session of your excercise? please let me know. love yaa 🙂

    So I am going to start the beginners pilates tomorrow – I know starting on a Saturday doesn’t sound fantastic – and just wanted to know if there is a meal plan that should be followed during the next 4 weeks?

    Hey Cassey, I’m new to your website and just subscribed the newsletter and tried your beginners workout. I play soccer since I was a little girl, so I always was a sort of fit, but i wanted to get more toned and lose a bit of fat, so I thought I’d try this. It was hard for me to do all the exercises, so I wanted to ask if that’s normal, because I don’t really feel like I’m not fit. Anyways, I will keep it up and hope to get better. Thank you for what you’re doing!

    I tried out this workout today and OHHHHH MMAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII CASSSEEEEYYYYYYYYYY, i sweated badly after the first 5-8 minutes! 20 minutes later,….BOOM!!! A very bad stomach cramp- my aunt flow visited me today 😉 – and i had to stop immediately. ended up crying the rest 8 minutes of the video 🙁 And i also put my leg down here and there. I continued crying for awhile cause i feel like a total loser for giving up too early :'(

    BUT THIS GIRL AIN’T GONNA GIVE UP WITHOUT A KICK ASS FIGHT!!! I’m doing this again tomorrow!!! And hopefully, i’ll have a better preservation towards the pain!! POPsters, GO GO GO!!!!

    ps : I honestly think you should make a 10 minutes voice recording with motivational words. if you sell it on itunes, i’m totally gonna buy it and listen to it instead of the Maroon 5 or Adele.

    Hello Cassey!
    I found your website yesterday, I subscribed to the newsletter and today I tried your workout for beginner.
    It was quite hard to do, especially the roll up. I knew I have poor abs, but I guess it’s even worst than I thought!
    Anyway, I managed to go trough all of it, and I already made a spreadsheet to keep track of my measurements!
    Thank you, your video gave me the push I needed to start doing something about my shape!
