New Addiction! Pinterest

Okay, so I am a little late onto the scene here but I finally started using Pinterest yesterday. I am already addicted. It is basically like an image based bookmark tool. I love it.

So what you do is ask for an invite, they usually send you one by the end of the day. Not sure why they do this – to make it “seem” exclusive? Then you start “pinning” things you like. The easiest way is to start following people who pin stuff you’re interested in. I searched fitness, workout, pilates, DIY, food, etc. If you like the images you see, you can comment, you can like it, or you can repin onto your own boards.

These are like theme boards or story boards. I have one for cute workout clothes, one for healthy foods, one for printable workouts, one for videos, one for inspirational random stuff…you can make them up as you go along. Once you install the “Pin it” app on your web browser toolbar, every time you’re on a website and you like something, you can just click it and add whatever’s on the page to one of your boards.

Honestly, this is so easy to use and is a great way to organize things you like when you browse websites. So even if you can’t buy that dress you saw on the Nordstrom website, at least you can have the picture forever!!!
