Side plank was one of the hardest when I started working out with you, but I notice this morning that it was easier. WOW, I am so happy.

This was impossible. I couldn’t complete a single move.

Not impossible, just something to work towards! Definitely a tricky workout, but working towards a goal of being able to complete or just get halfway through one move is a great first step at a stronger, more powerful you!

  3. Sailor Gray says:

Is there an alternative for the side plank because I am not strong enough to hold it for a long time

I would really like to do this video and all the others with sideplanks but my arms and shoulder hurt soooo much! I don’t know what to do about it.I have really sharp bones and my elbows always poke right through my extra thick yoga mat. I don’t know what to do!! Can anyboy help me? Or is it just practice??

    1. Rachel says:

Put a rolled up towel under your arms and make sure that your elbow is directly below your shoulder.
