    I’m most frustrated by the fact that I’ve done this workout several times and STILL cannot get very low at all with those pretzel squats 🙁

    I have hyperextendable knees and whenever I come up from the one-legged squats, they automatically hyperextend. Does anyone have any tips on modifications or ways to help prevent that?

      I have the same thing, so I don’t fully straighten my leg on the way up

    I don’t have lower back pain normally but this just kiiiiiiilled my back. Am I doing something wrong?

      A lot of these are also lower back exercises (the ones where you lift your leg up). Maybe you have muscles aches in your lower back after this, or your back is not strong enough to handle the exercises and you can therefore not keep it straight enough when you do them? I’m not an expert though, so might be something else! Good luck 🙂

        I am an expert in lower back injuries! I have had one Myself for several years…it has to a lot to Do with Core Strength! Please trust me on this one..do some research on developed Pilates! It’s why, and how I got involved with it..

    This was extremely bad for my lower back! I had to stop because I felt I was about to really hurt myself instead of getting in better shape. Please find more exercises that won’t hurt people with back pain!

    I got lower back pain trying to follow this video…I do have a bit of a belly and I don’t think I was engaging my core as much as I should. Is lower back pain a normal reaction for these exercises?

    hey cassie can you suggest any alternative exercise for people who struggle with lower back pain, i find that a lot of the butt exercises really just affect my lower back.
