Ok so I think I win the award for most delayed bag collection launch date in the history of human kind.

Well POPsters!!! Here it is!!!! The new stuff!!!! I don’t know what to say except, thank you for you patience, your enthusiasm, and appreciation for lovely things 🙂
This new collection has been in the works since February. Every thread color, metal zipper, vegan leather type, and lining detail were all chosen by me. Every bag and wallet was at one point a sketch that was worked back and forth to perfection on a piece of paper. A lot of it happening at 3am in my room or on a drop down table on a plane while squeezed in between cry babies and snoring daddies.
For the new followers and people who don’t know this other side of me, I am a designer at heart who loves to make things – beautiful things. Yes, I create YouTube fitness videos and teach group exercise classes (I love it!) but my childhood dream was to become a fashion designer! oGorgeous was something I started my senior year in college (that was over 3 years ago! What!?) and I am so happy I never gave up.
See you guys, you gotta believe in yourself no matter what anyone else says. Because if you don’t who will? I was faced with opposing forces along this journey, discouraging comments, and negative people. But what you have to do is put your blinders on and just go. JUST GO. Give yourself the chance to live out your dreams. If you want it badly enough, you WILL figure out a way to make it happen. I promise. I really do.
Sometimes I wish I could have a huge sleepover with you guys, have a cool pilates retreat, and talk to you guys about hopes and dreams. Make tons of friends. Cook together. Hang out together. Ahhhh…how fun would that be? And then talk to the young ones and tell them that everything is possible.
Anyway…
Let me show you some pieces from the new oGorgeous Collection! After making the catalog and putting all the pictures up last night, I was like, wow, I am super girly. I really like bows. Like, I reallllllly like them.
So umm yeah! Prepare for tons of feminine elements!
This is the Call Me Lady Wallet in Champagne, $27. No don’t laugh at me! I was listening to Carly Rae Jepson’s album at the time and I think “Call Me Maybe” was on and was like yeah, I think that’s a BRILLIANT idea. What I love about this wallet are the ruffles and stitching. It makes it look all Moulin Rouge-esque and kinda whimsical. Look closely and you can see that the zipper pull is a heart! Yup. It’s all about the details 🙂 Oh and I am currently using this one btw!
This one is my mom’s favorite. Butterfly Kiss Wallet in Gold Lush, $29. You can see I had a grand time naming these beauties. It’s very simple yet super elegant.
Perhaps the thing that gets me most excited about the wallets isn’t actually the wallet…it’s the box it comes in. I designed this too and am super duper stoked that it will make gift wrapping a cinch for those of you who are getting it for friends and family for the holidays! Oh and what do you think of that floral lining? I love it!!!
And…she’s back!!!!! Yeah, I’ve read every single one of your emails, comments, and tweets about when is the Beverly Bowtie gym bag ($149) gonna be back in stock!!??? There have been some updates to the new gym bags that I know you will adore! The quality of the vegan leathers I chose are very very sturdy yet soft to touch! The zippers glide so well and there’s now 2 water bottle pockets so you can stay SUPER hydrated 🙂
Of course I kept the yoga mat holder feature! The zips are even longer this time so you can house an even thicker mat! Or if you don’t do yoga or pilates, you can use it as another pocket! Or maybe slide you jacket there? A towel? The possibilities are endless! Pictured is the Pleated Pocket in Mauve Dazzle, $154. I love this style please there are sooooo many hidden pockets in this one. Oh and I am also currently using this one at the moment. I think the muted vintagey rose color is perfect for fall.
BAMMMM!!! I added a cushioned laptop sleeve. Need I say more!? Ok maybe I do. MAKES THIS A PERFECT TRAVEL BAG, SCHOOL BAG, WORK BAG, EVERYTHING BAG! Pictured is the Pleated Pocket Gym Bag in Black Glitter, $154. For those of you wonder what the materials are. The shiny, sequins-looking part of the bag is actually a type of faux leather/vinyl – so you don’t have to worry about anything coming off. It’s a very special and sturdy material.
This season I decided to give myself a chance at making handbags! This is the Selena Satchel in Vanilla Creme, $99 – ain’t she purddyyyy? Her sister comes in Cinnamon. Oh man, I am making myself hungry now. I want banana pancakes. Oh wait. FOCUS!! I am currently using this bag in Cinnamon and I love it because there are 2 external pockets on both sides of the satchel where you can quickly access your keys or phone, or whatever you decide to throw there. Umm yeah, and I LOVE the bows. I just love em. The buckles and ruffles really go well with my collection this time around, truly keeping with the femme boudoir theme.
Finally…the hot yoga bags!!!! Oh man. These bags can be used for hot yoga, regular yoga, or pilates! You can’t see in this picture, but the material this bag is made out of is mesh. This means that if your mat is sweaty and nasty, you can stick it in here and it will aerate. This is the Bow My Gawd! Hot Yoga Bag in Pink Shock, $59.
And finally, one for the boys! Here’s the One Hot Mesh Hot Yoga Bag in Black, $49. This is a part of my FLOMME collection which is my men’s yoga bag line. It’s half the price of the current stuff and gets the job done. Very sleek and simple! Black and blue. Hmm wait. Wasn’t that a Backstreet Boys song or something?

will you PLEASE bring back some cute gym bag collections? I have seen the Beverly Bowtie one and the bowless ones and they are both so perfect. I like that it is made from sturdy vegan leather too… next time you release another line, please think about doing more stylish gym bags!

Is there a difference in the number of compartments between Call Me Lady and Butterfly Kisses?

Great job on your new collection! I really like all the wallets, super cute and girly. I also really like that you included a space for a laptop. I have a 17″ MacBook and it is SO HARD to find a cute bag that fits it!
You are very inspiring and I wish to see more posts about chasing your dreams, the struggle and not giving up. I have trouble with my own dreams a lot too. I have a clear vision of where I want to be in my life and how successful I want to be BUT it is hard for me to find motivation sometimes. “Am I good enough?” is a question that pops into my head all too often. A retreat full of DIY, Pilates, Food & Girl Talk would be so cool!
And yes… I am feeling the burn in my legs from HIIT yesterday!

i must say though that i went through REAL TORTURE before placing my order. here’s why: i had SUCH a hard time choosing between caramel and french rose!!! this was cray. i so badly wanted both of them. like really bad.
but my “inner self” was just too sensible and wouldn’t for the life of mine let me order both, aaah!!! i went nuts. this was insane. the torture! the torture!
this was even worse than yesterday’s hiit thursday 😉 i even felt it in my arms (my arms get jittery when i’m excited or stressed out and today they were jittery x52756942345. you get the picture)
but now the fight is over and caramel won the race. today at least. cause i feel that my heart is not at rest yet. one day, it will rule over my sensible mind and get that french rose ordered to my home too after all.. muahhahahha 🙂

I’ve been eating clean and exercising regularly. and i accidentally had a YOLO night last night. Read a good book, had a bun and some biscuits and i feel SO bad! Is this just considered a YOLO thing or? Ahhh! 🙁

Oh my Goodness! All of the bags and wallets are so beautiful! I see why they are priced the way they are, but hopefully you will have a Black Friday sale for at least an hour! I’m such a cheap person, yet try to look for quality. It is hard.

A pilates retreat would be so doable! Like you have no clue how great it would be. You could do it for a whole weekend, like pilates 2-3 times a day or something, and also include recipes and cooking and whatever else other people want to know/pick your brain about. Maybe even a DIY tutorial and everyone leaves with your DVD or a product from your line as a gift. I got to poking around the internet since it seems like in SF it should be easy to find a retreat/conference center, and I found this http://www.ventureretreat.org/index.html, which is about an hour south of SF. I’m sure if you looked for longer, you could find something better, but since this doesn’t include food, then you could teach healthy eating and recipes easier…? Anyway, just some thoughts. Don’t mention something like that unless you want people to take you up on it. 😉

Also, you should do a pilates retreat! SO many people would come, seriously. I know you’re super busy, but imagine if you went on a PILATES RETREAT TOUR?! Like they have those yoga retreats where you pay for room and board and get to take classes and workshops all weekend. Yeah. Just an idea 🙂
