Blogilates LA Meet Up Photostory 🙂
Fitness Angels, butt signings on the Pink Carpet, and a neon family headband squad…that was only the beginning.
It was a SUPER BRIGHT SUNNY day in Westwood as hundreds of POPsters draped in their neon garb gathered on the grasses of UCLA.
Some were super fit fashionista’s transported from 1984.
Others who made an appearance at last year’s meet-up surprised me with their beautiful faces again on Saturday!
One guy just decided to bask in the middle of the court yard in a red onesie for 5 hours.
I just let him be.
We started out with some Blogilates Games just to break the ice!
Then I got right into it. Let’s warm up those leggies with plie squats!
And then more squats! NO MERCY. We worked out for an hour straight to an awesome mix of 80s songs and current Top 40 pop songs. It was really fun because everyone who came helped design the playlist! I have a really weird sports bra tan now from my open back shirt but whatever, so worth it! The energy was vibrant and the colors nearly blinded me – but in a good way. Everyone was so kind and polite! After doing the NYC Meet Up last week and then going to this one, I really feel like I wanna make a big poster that describes exactly who a “POPster” is. What her/his values and attributes are. I think I know. I think you do too! Tell me in the comments all the adjectives you can think of that make up a POPster!
Oh and umm. Not only did I make everyone dress up in weird 80s gear. I also forced them to do pelvic thrusts. To “Call on Me.”

There’s the 2nd ever yoga mat banner I’ve ever made! Now I have a piece of POPsters LA with me. Thank you so much for taking the time to write. This will stay with me forever and will inspire me to be a better instructor to you guys for as long as I teach!! Thank you 🙂
That was my mom who came all the way down from the Bay Area to help with manning the ShopBlogilates.com tables! She said she had a great time talking to you guys! Oh and I bought that highlighter headband for her last minute at American Apparel and had to coax her to wear it 😉 She’s also donning my “Brunettes are the best” slouchy sweater for the 8 Min Abs audition video!
And this was my dad. Epic.
At the end of our workout, we had a few social media contests. Well durr! C’mon, this is YouTube fitness. So everyone looked like this for a few minutes.
It was a huge giveaway day of generosity! We gave out 5 gift bags which included donations from Jamba Juice, Equinox, UCLA’s Health, Fitness, and Nutrition Organization, and oGorgeous!
One lucky winner got the caramel bowtie gym bag above! Congratulations!! WOWZA! I believe the winner is the jumping girl on the left of the picture below this!

Tea of a Kind also came out to help hydrate us! Jamba Juice sponsored 600 smoothies! Health Warrior Chia Bar gave us food. Equinox gave us guest passes! If you’re in LA, take my POP Pilates class at the West LA location Mondays at 8am and Thursdays at 5pm!! I am fortunate that everyone pulled together last minute to make this event happen and give you guys (SoCal POPsters) a good time! BIG THANK YOU! I am forever grateful.
I hope you guys enjoyed it 🙂 I really loved meeting all of you. I wish there was more time to sit down and chat with you, and hear your stories. I feel like we all know each other and like we are all friends. Do you feel the same? Working out together and going through pain as a team…I mean seriously, can someone say major “bonding time”!!???
This is a picture of the team that made this event a blast! This is UCLA’s Student Wellness Coalition. Amy, the one in the middle with the sunglasses on her head was the one who actually reached out to me and asked if I wanted to lead a fitness class for her school a few weeks back. Interestingly enough, I was having some complications trying to find a space to host a meet up in LA at the same time. If you remember, I had to postpone the date and change my original location. It was like a blessing sent from the Universe!! It all worked out 🙂 My dear friend Jemie (the tall one above in the sunglasses) coordinated the event so smoothly. And thank goodness too! I had seriously just stepped off of a plane from NYC.
I am so grateful for YOU GUYS for making our meet up so much fun (I feed off of your energy!), big big thank you to the sponsors for nourishing us with yummies, and huge appreciation for the team in the pic above for helping me make this happen! Amazing things are accomplished by amazing teams. It always takes more than 1 person – know it, live it. I am so fortunate to have y’all in my life!!!

A popster is getting more confidence, is taking all the way to reach his or her goal, is inspire by you Cassey, a real popster doesn’t give up in hard times, a real popster is pulling other popsters trough ghe tough workouts and together all the popsters will reach their goals and finish where they want to be when they start. Popster make it till the wnd, ’cause we are not alone !
Popsters are beautifull, personality and looks. Popsters are people who care about themselfs, their body’s and other people. Popsters are winners, ’cause every push up can be a game. You go trough it, because a popster is a fighter and when you’re done, you’ve won !
A popster is joining your calender or makes a sheme for her/him self, every month and he/she will finish that calender. Cause that’s what popsters do, start, fight, win.
Be a popster and join the community, nothing is better than be a popster.

I just lost 1,1 pounds in 10 days, another 10 days I stay on my weight. I’m 14 years old and training everyday as hard as I can. I’m not fat, I’m okay.. I just want that little extra sexy bikini body ^^
I won’t give up, cause I’m a popster. We’re fat away but I feel connected. I wnat to thank you do much, you give me more confidence to believe in myself.

Ive been doing your videos since Middle School, and Im in High School now so that should say something! Haha :). Im a HUGE fan and have introduced Blogilates to a ton of my friends and when we are together we often will do them.
