Your July Workout Calendar!

Hey guys!

July is going to be a very exciting month! Not only is it America’s 241st birthday (yay for pool parties, hot dogs, and fireworks) but we’re gonna be celebrating by doing a SUMMER SONG CHALLENGE SERIES!!! Beginning July 10th, I’m giving you 2 workout videos a week! YAY!

But before we get there, I have a super surprise for you. You know how you guys keep asking me to do a video with my sister?

Well guess what.

I DID A VIDEO WITH MY SISTER.

On Sunday the 2nd, I am releasing a super fun Yoga workout with Jackelyn who’s not only certified yogic, she’s certified awesome. GET READY!

I am so happy you guys are digging the linked videos. Makes life so much easier huh? Also, if you are the type that likes having the calendar as a desktop background, the hi-res JPEG is there for ya!

Also I want to be 100% transparent with you. I’m having trouble with my app developer on the current Blogilates App 🙁 That’s why you’re not seeing new updates, there’s no more exclusive videos, and overall, I’m not happy with it. It makes me really frustrated because there’s over a million downloads on the app and you guys deserve a much better product than what you’re using.

So if you want to unsubscribe from the monthly calendar on the App, go ahead and do it. The amount that you’re paying each month to support me? I’m not even seeing it guys. It’s really bad.

Don’t worry about me though. I’m figuring it out. The bad partnership has pushed me to get creative and make something even better. I ain’t gonna let body take me down!!! And I ain’t gonna let nobody take advantage of you guys! I’ll tell you more later. If you’re in the PIIT28 private Facebook group, you already know about it.

Now, who wants to hit July off with a BOOM CHICKA BOOM BOOM!??

I do. And what always sets a fire under my bootay is hearing how other power women take risks, fall, get up, and then absolutely crush it in the game of life!

    Hey guys! So this might be a stupid question, but I am new to the calendars- are there youtube videos that go with the work outs on the calendar?? I really want to get into this and achieve my best body! Thanx!

      Yes! Just search for them in the search bar. (For example, search: “Blogilates Fun Indoor Cardio” for the first part of the workout for Day 1.) Good luck!

    Are the workouts meant to be done in succession or are they as effective done throughout the day one at a time?

      I believe most people do them in succession and take breaks in between if needed..

      I don’t know how effective they are if you do them one at a time nor in succession.. But my best guess is that doing them one after another would keep the heart rate up?

    I’m wondering why the ab day was replaced with an oblique day? Shouldn’t we be working all parts of the core including the obliques as well as the center of our abs?

      I don’t know the answer.. But.. My ~guess~ would be that during certain days there will be some torturous ab workouts to make up for the replacement.

    This is my first monthly calendar after completing the beginner’s calendar! I struggled a bit this week but am making it through! The side planks are really killing me and I’m struggling trying to find a way to “work up” to them. This is coming from a girl who has never known how to do a push up (I know. Any suggestions are appreciated). Anyways, loving Blogilates so far! This is the first workout that I’ve really stuck to every single day!

    So for the calendar we just do each video one time correct? Also, how closely should they be done in succession??

      I generally try to do them one right after the other. But sometimes if I am really busy I will do a few and then go back and do the rest. As long as you are getting them in I am sure it will be fine.

    I’ve lost about 20lb by following the monthly calendar! (Thank you Casey!)
    However now I am experiencing shaggy breasts, which makes me really sad. So… I searched up few yoga poses – upward/downward facing dog, triangle, revolved chair, etc. Do they really help?

    Hey Cassey
    Can you please please please with sugar (wait, no, raspberries) on top do a yoga themed calendar? I would really like to do your calanders, except I don’t have time to do them because I go to secondary school, and by the end of the day I’m too exhausted. With yoga, it’s nice and easy to do and it doesn’t require much moving, plus it helps you tone and lose weight. I would REALLY appreciate it if you did a yoga calendar

    I would LOVE it if the app could stream to my cromecast. I did unsubscribe from the app a long time ago because of that. As much as its a pain to search each video on my TV and interruptive to the flow of my workout, i would rather watch you on my TV than my little phone screen. Hope you an create a better app soon 🙂

    hi guys! i want to star the july calendar but i hate having these 11 days “lost”, so i was planning on doing 2 or 3 workouts in a row starting today until having them complete and after that just keep with the workouts that go in every day but i dont know if it would be apropiate… could someone help me?

      when i did the beginners calendar i took the chance to rest when searching for the next video while drinking a bit of water but not for a long period of time, otherwise it’s harder to keep going (at least for me) 🙂

    I didn’t even know I could work the muscles in the body that are sore today. This is my first workout calendar after regular workouts and I’m loving it! It’s amazing to have your workouts already scheduled and the fact that they are fun actually makes me want to workout! Thank you!

    I’m new and this is my first workout calendar (I’d consider myself a beginner, so I hope that I’ll be able to do it ^^) but I have one question: are you supposed to do the workouts for the day all at once or can you spread them throughout the day?

    I did almost all of the Beginner Calendar, but hurt myself in the back because I am not flexible (I’m more of a runner). I have tried doing less workout for 2 weeks, but the pain wasn’t getting away, so I decided to stop for 2 more weeks. I feel so excited and eager to start to work out soon again. I never liked doing workout and even less in my basement, but all of this changed with your videos! Hope I’ll be able to get back to it soon! I just want to start soon the normal calendars!

      Sometimes I do all the videos. Sometimes I don’t. Yesterday was abs and I only did 3 videos. I found if I push myself too hard, I’m so tired afterwards and have no drive to keep going with the calendar.

      I have only finished the beginner’s calendar. I did not lose weight but I’m definitely stronger and have better endurance.

    How do we know which video to do when the calendar says “New Video”? Do we just do the one that was the most recently posted?

    Where do i find the new videos and how do i know which one to pick. I have the blogilates app on my cell but when i click on the new videos link it takes me to youtube but have no clue what is the new video. Help 🙂

      Whichever video was most recently uploaded (it usually goes up on Sundays in North America). Go to her Youtube channel, then the “Videos” tab, which should sort them by most recent uploads.

    Can you make a video discussing on how not to get so tired during the daily workouts? I always get so burnt out towards the last videos that i shake so bad i can barely hold myself. i did the beginners calendar and i am losing weight, so maybe just tips so i can do my best during all of the videos for the day. Or modification ideas so I don’t get lazy when i know i dont have the ability to do the move.Thank you! -Taylor

    I loved doing the June calender although I died constantly it was pretty fun to sweat my butt off. Thank you Cassey for being so energetic your energy helps me to push through the torture. I’m pumped for this new workout calender and I’m ready to die all over again!

    I know you hear this all the time, but I still have to say it. Thank you so, so much for what you do. I have been doing POP Pilates off and on (mostly on now) for near two years. I watch all of your videos and I have started listening to your Be Sheroic Podcast. I am not sheroic at all. In fact I am a very scared person sometimes.       If it’s not on YouTube for example “Fun Indoor Cardio” then just do a workout related to it or sports and running is great too! 😊

      You can open/download the pdf, click on the name of the video right on the calendar itself and it should send you to the Youtube video

    Just finished today’s workout and can barely move my arms to type xD I tried ticking off the workouts in the PDF file but I wasn’t able to – has anybody else had any issues?
    BTW, I absolutely the love the calendars and I’m in awe by all the hard work Cassey puts into giving us the best workout experience!

      Hmm we didn’t add a tick off feature. I think you’d need to do it yourself in adobe reader or another program!

    is there a way to know how long all the workouts for the day are? I’ve been going to each youtube and then adding them up – pain but doable. I am squeezing in workouts between babies waking…gotta know how long it is before starting. Thanks!

      I think most of the days are usually about an hour, give or take a few minutes.

      with your phone! i’m not sure if this is the same for android, but at least on iphone, if you click on the daily playlist, right above the first video it says how many videos there are in the playlist and how long it is. So for example, the July 6th one has 5 videos and is 52 minutes in total 🙂

      I downloaded the calendar to acrobat then if you press the name of the exercises, it takes you to you tube to the videos. I put them all in my que then played them.
