Toodles LA, Hello New York!
Toodles LA, Hello New York!
Check the vid above to see my first REAL LIFE collab with Bex!!!! We did a healthy Q&A sesh. Now onto my LA trip recap…
Friday afternoon, I had the honor of meeting ExoticJess – she’s a YouTube superstar and female comedian. We met at a YouTube meetup a couple months ago in San Bruno and I wasn’t sure if I ever would ever see her pretty face again! It was REALLY difficult to plan out a time to meet between her crazy schedule and my meetings but we made it happen! We ended up chattin it up at Stout in Hollywood and had the most AMAZING quinoa and white bean burger I have ever had! We both skipped the bread and opted for just the patty on top of arugula. It was FAB. I then met her lovely daughter who does POP Pilates workouts (wow, so flattered!) and she said that she’s been sore for the past couple days because of me. Haha, I love hearing that. Good work Corinne!
One of these days Jess and I will get a workout filmed for you guys! It would be pretty epic!
OK you caught me. Taking pics and driving. But, after a week of being on set, being around producers, directors, and meeting with tons of YouTube personalities, I felt like I wasn’t just in Hollywood – I felt a little bit a part of it 🙂
I left for NYC Friday night on a red eye flight (the best kind) and I slept the WHOLE WAY. It was amazing. Then I caught the subway all the way into Manhattan. I went for a run on the Hudson River and got ready for my first ever meeting with Bex from Bexlife on YouTube. We developed a friendship via our first collab back several months ago and I am so happy to say that she’s just as cool in real life as she is on YouTube, email, skype, and phone!
We ate at Dos Caminos near or in the Meat Packing District. I had a chicken cobb salad and Bex has Huevos Rancheros. That thing was HUGE. I did not finish it unfortunately!
It was sooooo cool gushing over everything with Bex! It wasn’t weird at all meeting her for the first time because I felt like I knew her, which I do!!! Thanks to this internet world, I can make friends before I even physically see them. I am so thankful for YouTube’s global reach. Interacting with you guys is so much fun and I can’t wait to continue doing more and more for you. I want to be able to make more videos on a consistent basis – this is something I need to seriously work on. It’s not like I don’t want to – it’s more like a time allocation problem. I gotta figure this out…I wanna make those FOOD Bites vids again. More weekly workouts.
Are there any types of vids you wanna see me do more of? Just workouts? Food? Inspirational? Motivational? Style? Let me know. Your comments DIRECTLY affect what I do and what you see. Lemme know!
Much love and enjoy the rest of your weekend. I’ll be exploring more of NYC tomorrow before the Shorty Awards on Monday night. Eek!!! I need to get a dress to wear…

Cassey, i am happy for you have a fun time in LA!!
Love your ten minute workouts, cuz I can mix and match. 😀 I was wondering if you could do one specifically to strength the lower back? I know abs have a lot to do with lower back and I have never had lower back problem until this year – I attributed it to doing a lot of ab workouts. It doesn’t seem to be helping now and some of the ab workouts are even painful to do. 🙁 I find it gets worse after volleyball games and takes a long time to go away. So something that might help that would be AWESOME! 😀 Thanks! Going to do your back workout right now.
Hey Cassey!
i would love to see more cardio work outs<3
Cassey would you please do an arm video with weights? Since I’m getting older (almost 40 :P) my arms are becoming a problem…thank you and I love blogilates!!!
Hi Cassey!
I love your videos:) It’s awesome that you’re in NYC!!! (I live 30 minutes away and LOVEE going in!) I hope the Shorty Awards went well!

Hey Cassey,
First of all, thanks so much for the wonderful videos that you already have out there! Your genuine love of fitness and connection are what endeared you to me. I would love to see more behind-the-scenes videos of the workouts you yourself do, your daily life, and how you manage your businesses and blog.
p.s. If you have time in NYC you need to go to the spotted pig….mmmmm
I would also be interested in knowing if you visited any gyms in NYC? I like equinox, the one on the W Village has an amazing view!!!
I am so proud of you. You don’t know me but I feel like we have known each other for a long time, because you’ve been a part of my life since last March when I discovered you all the way from Paris. I was feeling alone then, and out of shape, and you gave me a a new life, literally. You have been a consistent, supportive voice (and smile) even via youtube! I’ve been doing your workouts consistently for a year now, and I feel and look great. And from the time you first started posting videos up until now, look at you and how far you’ve come with pop pilates! I am so happy for you! Thank you for everything and I will continue to follow your workouts no matter what country I live in!

More full body workouts please!!
I would like to see a warm-up and/or stretching video and some more beginner videos.
I would love to see more workout videos! Especially abs! I love your workout YouTube videos; they keep me motivated! 🙂
OH WAIT!!! Cassey while you are in NYC check out Candle 79 Restaurant- great vegan food… and if you are feeling adventuous check out Serendipity… the place that has what could be the best ice cream you ever ate in your life (sorry ice cream..not healthy) but they do have a FANTASTIC healthy salmon dish to make up for it…
I ate there the other day and it was great. But, the line to get in can be really long so def. make a reservation before you go
Candle 79 is on 154 East 79th Street between Lex and 3rd
Serendipity is on 225 East 60th Street between Second and 3rd
You’re great by the way!
thanks so much!
Cassey.. 😀
You are so sweet.
It’s so amazing that you do all these video workouts for us, we love it.
I really enjoy your total body workouts, because when I do one of them I can think to myself I’ve done todays little workout.
I’m in the same sitation as Inga, not great with those push-ups. Try hard, but fall flat down everytime, so wanna get it right.
Hi Cassey,
So good to see that you’re enjoying life! Leave that thing with the sport centre boss behing you as a not so pleasant hiccup along the way!
I would love it if you made a few videos spefically for warming up, and more shoulder work maybe? I tend to do a bit of stretching before your workouts but I feel that stretching doesn’t really get my muscles warm and awake enough, and then the workout is already happening, you know?
It’d be wonderful to have you leading us through the warming up properly, to jump start energy levels before working out! And shoulder workouts would be great too, I’m still having trouble with the push-up department, definitely need to amp up my arm/ shoulder situation…
But I really think you gotta do with your time as you please, and you’ve been doing so much already!!! But you asked, right? 🙂
love, inga
Perhaps a stretching video?
I’d love a long total body workout too!
And I love your 10 minute pilates videos, especially obliques and abs!
Hi Cassey!
You’ve helped me SO MUCH with getting back into shape, and I am so very appreciative of all the workouts you post! I would just love to see more total body pilates workouts and/or workouts that incorporate hand weights. Thank you for all that you do! 🙂
fitness star challenge workouts! :0)
Hi Cassey!!!
I’d love to see more workout videos to get rid of those muffintops 😀 and also some FOOD bites videos would be great 🙂
You’re right… Burpees suck! haha. Love the vids you and Bex put together. Awesome. Great Q & As.
Looks like an awesome trip! I would love to see more workout videos, especially weight circuits and maybe even a kettlebell (!) one. This doesn’t mean that I don’t want to see more pilates b/c I LOVE IT and that was the reason I found your videos in the first place. I would just find it helpful to have more weight ones as well to switch it up, maybe with some targeted ones (arms complex, legs complex, full body, etc.)
Hi Cassey,
i’m new here and i have to say i looove your workouts!
Wow Jess has a daughter? She looks so young 🙂
The video was so fun to watch 😀
I would love to see more workouts, like 20minutes total workouts.
And some meal ideas and definitely some motivation videos.
I start working out for some months but i stop :/
xxx
It’s great to hear you are having such a great time! As for workouts I really love your Summer Slimdown and Total Body workouts. I know they are more work, but I would love to have a new “long” Total Body kind of workout with some kick ass motivational music to get ready for summer 🙂
Hey Cassey 🙂
I watched your Q&A with Bex and it really got me motivated more into eating better. I guess hearing it from others is what reminds me of what i really need to be doing if i want to start being healthier and to see results! anyways, It’d be great if you could do more workout videos, like cardio videos maybe? 🙂 Glad you’re having fun!
I’d love to see more workouts! You are amazing!
Hi Cassey!
I’m glad you’re having fun in New York! I would like to see more motivational and workout videos. Would you mind doing a shoulder workout video? I think that would help people new to Pop Pilates. 😀
thanks for share, look like you enjoy your trip alot. Then if you asked, i’d love to see more about healthy food so i can learn to live healthy as you did 🙂 thanks again!
Love it! You two have a great connection on screen! Very enjoyable 🙂
