POP Sculpt! LA Celeb Sightings, Radio + the Amazingness of life…
POP Sculpt! LA Celeb Sightings, Radio + the Amazingness of life…
Latest format added to the POP series…POP Sculpt! I decided against POP Pump in the end (sorry Cari) because it was too BODYPUMPish. You’ll need 2 sets of weights for this, a light 3-5 lb set, and a heavy 6-12 lb set. The routine is 15 in long and you should repeat it 4x!
This week I was in LA doing trunk shows at Equinox for my bags. Here’s my Beverly Bowtie gym bag on a bald lady mannequin. Sexy.
The first part of the week I was in West Hollywood and OMG can I just say that anyone who is anyone was working out here. Let’s just say that I saw JC from NSync, Taye Diggs from Private Practice, Kevin Connolly or “E” from Entourage, and my fave sighting of the day…Ana Caban from my Gaiam Pilates DVD sets.
Back when I turned 16, my friend gave me her ab video as a present and I literally did that routine a few times a week religiously. She is MY Pilates guru. I was so hesitant to come up to her and introduce myself. I didn’t want to sound like a crazy fan but I also wanted her to know how much I appreciated her influence on my journey towards becoming an instructor myself. So I took a deep breath and decided to be a normal human being. We talked and then ended up exchanging contacts! OMG. WHHHHAAAATT!!???
I asked if I could interview her for my blog and she said yes, so I hope we can get Ana over here. I know you guys would love love love to hear from someone I consider my idol in Pilates. As big as JC, Taye, and Kevin are…I was more star struck by Ana. She is a bigger celebrity to me in my universe.
LA was awesome. So warm. It was like 70/80 degrees. AH. I want to move out there soon. I miss living there. But I def don’t miss the traffic. For those of you that live in SoCal, what’s the best area to move for someone like me? Any recommendations?
Today, the clip of me on the radio was aired! Haha, it is soooo weird hearing my voice only. I feel like I sound like a small human. I don’t know, my voice is so high pitched and miniature. Haha, maybe it’s just me? The interview was hosted by Alexandra and Kymberly Williams-Evans of FunandFit.org. They are twin fitness sisters and are so funny together. My interview was on debunking Pilates myths. Have a listen and tell me what you think! Is there a future for me in radio PodCasts!!??? JUST KIDDING.

I’ve been pondering on starting another blog or YouTube channel that’s non fitness related for a few days now. It would be more on inspirational entrepreneurial stuff. There is so much that I’ve been learning as a blogger, YouTuber, and businesswoman that I want to share but I feel like it does not resonate with all of you guys so I need to direct that to a completely different place. This would allow me to just talk, vent, blah bah on tips and tricks for finding your passion, doing what you love, and starting your own business etc. I have sooooo many stories on this and I kind of want to create a video collection. I wonder what my other YouTube channel and blog should be called. CasseyHo? CasseyTalks? BlogilatesBiz?BlogilatesLife? No idea. I wanna keep it simple and open so that I can talk about anything pretty much. What do you think?
Today something crazy happened on the way to the airport that made me realize why this 2nd channel needs to happen. You will learn so much from it and why life can be so amazing. I want to vlog about it before I go to Australia next Saturday. So I will try my hardest to get the YouTube channel up. Help me come up with a name! I think that will be the hardest part.
Ahh, can’t wait to open more of myself up to you guys in a different light. Maybe my “c’mon you can do this” attitude in fitness can translate well in a type of life coaching of sorts. Not saying I am expert at all. Just saying it may help motivate you in other aspects of your life.
K, that is all! Again, 3:15am. I’ve got a class to teach in the morning so better get to bed. Love you all!
Muah! Cassey

I ddo trust all of the ideas you’ve presented for your post.
They are really convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless,
the posts are very short for newbies. May just you please extend them a little from subsequent time?
Thanks for the post.
I just found your site and I am ALREADY an addict!!!! I am a gym rat at heart, but on two teacher’s salaries, my husband has encouraged me to workout at home…I was missing group classes SO bad, and feeling so unmotivated by trying to be my own fitness instructor – until I found your blog!!!! There is something about them that makes it feel like I am back in a gym and not just watching a fitness video. I tried the scult one yesterday and LOVE LOVE LOVED it!!!! I did pilates today and now obsessed with trying them all!!! Thank you so much for you blog and sharing your workouts with us:).
YAYYYY!!!! I know, I love group ex classes toooooo! Stay strong!
ooHH and i think u should move to irvine (but it’s a little pricey because everything is so0o new), fullerton (use to go to school here and i liked the area :D), pasadena (CLEAN!), glendale ;D haha, or …. hmmm. just move here! the weather is calling you………! <3
How much is 3-5 lb and 6-12 ib in kg?
I just did this! Sweaty – I had sweat dripping the whole time.
Cassey…I LOVE the sculpt video, but I’m suuuuper jealous of your sunny, SoCal weather!!!
Definitely start a new channel…you are so inspiring/encouraging in aspects of fitness and health, it would be great to have your amazing motivation through a business outlet as well.
I think you should keep the name short and sweet, just like you wrote~Casseytalks or CasseyHo. Keep the emphasis on YOU! 🙂
Hi Cassey! I’m so glad u had lots of fun in SoCal! Btw, i had no idea Ana Caban was so huge… i feel so out of the loop now that i think about it because she was actually at a kidney walk I recently went to in Pasadena. I actually got to talk to her too but i honestly did not know who she was
-_- I asked her if she offered any fitness classes and asked for her card lol… i did not know she had DVDs!!! she also taught one class at my pilates studio and did not realize she was big in the business. I’m such a dork. lol… anyway, so happy for u and everything going on. I’m excited for you interview with her 🙂 all ur dreams are coming true as you help soo many people.
I’ll look forward to your new business channel.. I think you should call it CasseyHo because it eminates of your thoughts on life/business etc. and i think your name is very catchy and a great brand name 🙂
wish i could have seen u in socal!
Please ladies, put down the baby weights!!
I love the idea of a new inspirational, entrepreneurial blog! I remember having read one of your posts a few months ago, about living fully and passionately and going after your dreams – it really stayed with me and I still think about it. I’m at that stage where I’m almost done with school and trying to find my way in life, and reading things like this is really helping me out. Looking forward to it! 🙂
good good! i think i’ll have to do it then.
I love SoCali too, try san diego or even orange county. We’re not anywhere nears as busy as LA but with all the perks like warm weather and celeb spotting!
I LOVE the idea of a business YT channel! I love the BlogilatesBiz name. It connects you to your original blog and sets it apart with the business aspect. If you are planning on doing more than just business posts, more than 50% I would consider BlogilatesLifestyle maybe? I like Blogilateslife too. Super excited! I’m loving your site!
thanks for the name!
San Diego! I’ve always loved the place. It is so peaceful!
I had a VHS tape from Ana Cabal (‘ello, old skool!) She was so graceful in it but unfortunately, I was a newbie and the moves looked really acrobatic. I used to watch it and be amazed at the amount of control she had on her body. I’m glad you got to meet her.
Irvine!!!!!
I love the idea of a new site! I don’t know how you are going to find the time for it though…I don’t want you stressing/pushing yourself too much Cassey. You need sleep!
JC was my favorite member of NSYNC! I would have acted like a 13 year old if I saw him!
Hahaha
Hm, sorry I don’t have any name suggestions, but I am a fan of BlogilatesLife and CasseyTalks. Regardless ,I just want to say I think this new idea you’re working on sounds great, I plan on subscribing ASAP, and I support you all the way!
I like the life one
I love the idea and I am so going to follow you on that new channel as well! You are so super motivational already and I bet you can do so much more.
Also, POP Sculpt rules!
I too would be interested in the info behind starting a business- which is what I am doing as well (Fused Glass!) Naming is hard! I like Georgia’s BehindBlogilates….unless it would convey the making of videos etc. Maybe….BusinessBehindBlogilates, BizBehindBlogilates, or B3 haha, just kidding there. I had a run on B’s), or BlogilatesBizTips. idk! Something will hit as perfect.
The not so HoBo channel XD
‘BizzBlog’ ‘CasseyCreation’ ‘The CH Channel’
I think Cassey Talks, Behind Blogilates or Behind Blogilates w/Cassey is good as well. You do such amazing work I can’t express how much I love your videos and I recommend your page and FB to everybody!
I really love CasseyTalks or BlogilatesBiz. I really would love for you to make another youtube channel like that where you would answer our questions and advice, your tips, venting about something that we all might have in common, etc. Great idea Cassey. <3
Hey, just wanted to say about ur new YT Channel if it relates to blogilates then you should name it something along with that word. I loved the BlogilatesBiz you have mentioned or BehindBlogilates (ie how you started it, enterpreneur tips).
When people will be searching YT about blogilates ur new channel will pop up too and its easier for everyone to find it.
Hope I helped.

Hi Cassey! I would love to see your new Blogilates channel up and running. I’m am creating videos to start my own channel pertaining to crafting and would love to hear any tips and information you have on building a business, especially in the online community. It would be incredibly helpful.
