should i do this before i eat?

  2. i have no doubt such morning workout would lift my mood but i wonder if i can lift my arms and legs in the morning! I wish there were a few more simple exercises in the beginning, just to help you wake up before you start actually working out. But that’s what I can figure out myself.
Thank you for the showing the new exercises!

Pilates is my favorite way to exercise because it helps build strength in our body and soul. It nourishes our body providing the strength that we need to have in our daily life and which we are capable to do things that we love. It also nourishes our minds to think positive about ourselves that we are all beautiful inside and out. Pilates is a way to build muscles and endurance our body. Without Pilates or Cassy Jo I wouldn’t be where I am today and that is strong, confident and happy to live each day with the strength that I built learning all the techniques Pilates and, Casey Jo gave out. I am happy to have found love within Pilates that gives me the strength to take on each day that it is my last.

  4. Lucy says:

Pilates is my favourite way to move because it strengthens my core, something I really need as I’ve got hyper extendable ligaments so my joints are all wobbly and unstable.

  5. Vail Elizabeth says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it requires you to be present in your mindset and is a workout that a person can continue doing through the rest of their life. Pilates is something I enjoy so much that I’m getting certified to teach mat (specifically in Stott Pilates). It’s such a unique butt kicking workout, I just love it!:)

  6. Tiffany says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it’s simple and fun! You can also feel the pressure of your muscles toning!

  7. Sarinaa ' says:

it’s my favorite move because its fun effective and challenging ! plus I see results faster than any other workout I did in the past 😀

  8. Still Doingit says:

I find that people who teach pilates, are in fact, intellectuals. The people who do yoga can be strange, not all, but some. The gym people are a little weird.

  9. Sarah says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move along with yoga because it builds so much strength and is very graceful while working your hiny off! I love how it’s not your everyday boring workout either it’s always challenging your body in different ways with each very different workout. All time favorite way to move! I love Pilates<3 And of course Cassey cause she really does make Pilates fun and exciting:)

  10. Somaya says:

Because it is such a graceful, feminine way of strengthening our bodies! I used to be terrified of bulking up but not with Pilates 😉 not to mention the fact that it is effective without being too heavily sweaty 😀

  11. Allyson says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it makes me feel strong, sexy, and confident. After a great workout, I am a better mom, a happier wife, and a more balanced person in general.

  12. Toyota says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it gives me a variety of workouts at my own home. I go to school all day during the week and I do not have time to workout with my two jobs after school so I like to do pilates in the mornings to get my days off right and when I get home at night to end the night with nice relaxing stretches. It helps me with everyday life! 🙂 Thank you for posting all the workouts!

  13. Jennifer Pitt says:

Pilates is definitely my favorite way to move for a lot of reasons. You don’t have to have any extra equipment, which is nice for someone like me who’s broke and can’t get to a gym. And it gives you such a great workout with just your body weight!

Pilates doesn’t plain exhaust me (unless I’m doing a cardio vid with you and Jacqueline ;D). It invigorates me instead and afterwards, I feel like I could conquer the world or do…. well, anything!

And finally, I just feel so graceful doing it and it makes me so happy about myself and what I’m doing for my goals! I was working out on the beach one day and I actually got some comments and questions on how great I looked and what I was doing. That day was so encouraging and raised my self-esteem a lot. Pilates really makes me more motivated to be healthy and it brings out a better version of myself, in my fitness and my happiness.

  14. Torrey H says:

I LOVE Pilates because of the “super-woman” feeling I get after each workout. I shake, I tremble, I feel like saying no… and then, at the end I feel strong, confident and so so clean inside and out! Pilates is the perfect mix of grace, athleticism, poise and endurance that has helped my body to come back to a strong, healthy, and very happy balance!

  15. Tisha Elsayed says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it’s FUN, never boring, and keeps my body lean and in shape. Love it!!! 🙂

  17. Bridget says:

Hmmm… Why is pilates my fave way to workout? One big reason; Cassey! You’re just so happy and determined and fun 🙂 Even when I have muscles hurting in places I didn’t even realise I had muscles your happiness is infectious and it makes me smile! Another reason is it focuses on a strong and healthy body, there was a point in my life where all I cared about was being as skinny as possible but now I do pilates as part of a balanced life and I feel strong and proud of my body. Those are just some of the reasons but there are many MANY more. Oh oh oh and one last thing! The community, being part of a group of friendly, supportive people all working on living healthy, happy lives. Love you guys!

  18. Aisha says:

I dont have something very fancy to say :/. I just feel relaxed after pilates. I also feel a difference and that it is more effective for me personally.

    1. Aisha says:

Oh plus, it makes me feel strong. Almost ontop of the world, like I can do it. I can exercise and kick butt… my own ofcourse :)!

  20. Maribel Morgan says:

Pilates is the best kind of exercise for me because it makes me feel energized strong and confident .

  21. Scarlett says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it not only tones your muscles with a variety of fun, new, entertaining moves, but it creates gracefulness in the way we move, and makes us stronger. Pilates teaches a wonderful life lesson. “You can’t reach your goal without putting in the effort to get there.” For us POPsters we know that if we want stronger, toned muscles we have to push ourselves harder and constantly challenge ourselves. Life is constantly challenging us, and we have to keep pushing ourselves to get where we want in life. Just like in Pilates when we have to constantly challenging ourselves and push ourselves to get to our fitness goals. Pilates is also my favorite way to move because along with toning my muscles and teaching me a valuable life lesson it also makes me confident in myself. Pilates incorporates a variety of graceful moves that eventually find their way into the way we move everyday. The variety and atmosphere of Pilates helps boost self-esteem, self-confidence, and a persons overall outlook on themselves and others. Pilates teaches us how to stay motivated no matter what and to keep going even when it hurts to and we want to give up. So thank you Cassey for being a wonderful teacher!

This has to got to be my favorite video yet!
This totally perked me up and what you said about choosing your happiness was totally inspiring.

Pilates is my favorite way to move because after struggling with being an overweight teen to getting an unhealthy obsession with losing weight I feel like Pilates keeps me balanced.
I love the challenge of getting better at the moves, getting toned and fit the healthy way while having fun!

    P.s It’s my favorite daily escape 😀

Your blog really made me start loving my body again instead of punishing it. love it!

  23. Elysia Bires says:

With many workouts there is a body/mind disconnect. You go through the motions while distracting yourself with music or TV. This is not the case in Pilates. With this whole body activity you truly are creating a new way of life. The entire time I am completing the workout my mind is actively engaged in the toning process and the result is a very calm, more aware self. Cassey you take it to the next level by adding the element of fun. Every new video is so different from the last that you make it impossible to be bored!

  24. Fiona says:

Pilates is my favourite way to move because it makes me feel so graceful and I know it’s so good for strengthening my core and back… Something I definitely need!

    Hi Cassey!
I’d like to start positively and thank you. You’re an inspiration for many people. Thanks for your workouts, your amazing attitude and lovely personality.
Now I’d like to share with you one problem which I cannot solve by myself. I was thinking maybe you can give me a piece of advice =)
    To be brief…
Right know I’m a bit stressed out (I’m preparing for my final exams at high school and for my university entrance examination in the same time – wonderful timing =D).
I eat clean, workout daily and study a lot (I love it all!!!) However, the day or two before my exams I’m always out of control. I’m craving for something all time, I’m not able to eat regularly and I overeat (I’m nibbling everything I see).
There is quite a lot of stressful days in front of me and I want to stop doing this. Mainly because it makes me feel bad physically and mentally. Also I don’t want to throw away everything I worked on so hard.
I guess many of you have been through this before. I know nobody can solve this emotional-eating kind of problem on-line, but if you have any experiences, I’d be grateful to hear it =)

  30. Ila says:

Thanks for the contagious happiness! It is much appreciated during this time of final exams for me!

Pilates is my favorite way to move because it gives me a fun and healthy outlet to push myself to new capacities of fitness and self-beleif. I love how pilates combines strengthening, endurance, and flexibility. It is a great total body workout. I always feel like I am doing something fun while doing something that is great for my health. Even though when I finish your pilates routines I am sweaty and struggling, I always feel great about myself after. It really helps me achieve my non-fitness related goals after I have pushed myself to new limits through pilates.

    1. Devin Jones says:

I agree, Ila! The combination of strengthening, endurance, and flexibility is a MAJOR draw to pilates, and it is SO much fun to do Cassey’s workouts!! I, too, am sweaty and struggling by the end of my workout, but like you I always feel great about myself after making it all the way through!! Good luck to you with accomplishing all your goals!

  32. Amy Rose says:

POP Pilates is my favorite way to move because it makes me feel like I CAN move!! All of the fitness magazines and “trend” workouts incorporate a lot of pylo, lunges, and squats, and even marathon training, all moves I can’t handle after having lateral ankle surgery on my right ankle. I TRULY believed that without these moves, I would never have nice legs or a perky booty. I’d be doomed to jiggle, cellulite, and a flat butt. BUT (ha ha, no pun intended!) with POP pilates such as the Beyonce video, Super Butt, and your latest on the pier in Australia, I FINALLY have legs I can show off in a mini skirt! I don’t run for my cover-up the second I jump out of the pool in my bikini! Your videos have literally transformed my body and fulfilled my fitness dreams. Back when I made my original Pinterest inspiration board when I started on my fitness journey, one of my pins was “To Show Off Your Legs and Booty.” Now I can. <3

    1. blogilates says:

copy n paste this on my youtube vid comments section! thanks 🙂

  33. Devin Jones says:

Great workout, Cassey! It was quick and fun, and I have a feeling I’ll be in a great mood all day!! I LOVE pilates … but not just any pilates … I love YOUR pilates!! I have been overweight since I was in elementary school, and I’ve never been an athletic or active person. I have always hated exercising, and I could never find any type of exercise that I really enjoyed until I found your PopPilates (and I did do pilates in high school)! Thank you so much for all you do, Cassey! You have made such a HUGE impact on my life!!

  34. Brigitte says:

Pilates is my favorite way to move because, I get bored easily, and with pilates, I’m always learning something new! It also makes me feel graceful, which is hard for a 6′ tall ex basketball player!
