It’s Gonna be May! May Workout Cal that is.

Oh gosh how I love being able to use this gif once a year! I was actually reading a Forbes article that says that at the beginning of each May, N*SYNC gets a huge boost of views on YouTube thanks to Justin Timberlake saying “me” with a slight twang.

So, y’all in the spirit of my favorite 90s boy band: “IT’S GONNA BE MAY.”

The new May Calendar is gonna throw you for a spin!

It’s different than all of our past calendars because it’s preparing you for PIIT28 – my Pilates Intense Interval Training program. This means short bursts of intensity, rest periods, and your workouts will be under half an hour every day (unless you’re doing a stretch video afterwards)!

I think you’ll really love the change in pace, the short workouts, and the extra sweat! You may find that this is JUST the SHOCK your body needs to really get strong and agile.

Check it out:

Download Linked PDF  |  Download Hi-Res JPEG

So here’s how it works:

  1. Download the calendar above! If you download the linked PDF, you can just click on the video of the day and it will take you straight to YouTube without having to search! If you want to save it as your desktop background, download the hi-res JPEG!
  2. Each day has a muscle group focus so that you can switch off throughout the week, not overworking any part of your body.
  3. You’ll notice that most workouts have “4x” or “3x” next to the video title. This means I want you to do 4 rounds or 3 rounds of that video in one workout session.
  4. Fridays are for food and flexibility! That is why you’ll see me linking to some food videos as well as stretch videos. It’s your rest day!
  5. Remember to check off the boxes as you go!

And if you want to advance to PIIT28 after this calendar, I’m giving you an exclusive coupon code “sweaty15” for $15 off my Transformation Pack which includes all of the PIIT28 programs plus The 28 Day Reset!

And if you finish the PIITSTAGRAM 1.0 challenge…I’m gonna send you the official PIIT28 Completion Top!

Each one of these ladies put in their time, sweat, hard work and earned their right to this top because it can NEVER BE BOUGHT. Congrats to @popster_kagami, @tiffanydoespiit28@mikaelastinkypiit, and @lean_like_a_green_bean.

I want you to use the May calendar to get stronger, to get leaner, and to find your most confident self! Be sure to follow other POPsters on IG and become active in the community. Just look up the #blogilates, #popster, #poparmy or #piit28 hashtag. It’s really amazing how much more effective the workouts are when you have a supportive, genuine network around you. And trust me…these are some of the most AMAZING people you will find out there.

After you complete the May cal, you’ll be ready to tackle PIIT28 in NO TIME!!!

The code for $15 off the PIIT28 Transformation Pack (Reg or Vegan) is “sweaty15” and it expires May 31st, 2017.

Love you so much!! And have a STRONG START to your May!

    Hi, Cassey!
I’ve been following your workout videos for about 6 months now (still a newbie :D) and I really love your message and you really motivate me.
I have a little problem with the WO calendars though. I’m sure you probably get this a lot but, I have signed up for you newsletter countless times and I NEVER get the password. I really would love to follow your workout calendar but, I can never get the password.
Please help me resolve this issue.

  2. dmaxj16 says:

I like that the workouts are more intensive, focused, and shorter. It’s definitely challenging, but I applaud Cassey for shaking things up for us. I think it’s important to remember that the past calendars are always available to mix and match, but I liked the shorter workouts.

  3. Rachel Anna says:

I LOVE variety. I have to have it so I understand that some people weren’t into the calendar. I will say that I really like it. I love the quick isolated workouts and I really like how quick they are. As a busy mom that is the most important thing for me. Getting a really good and really quick workout for me. I know people don’t like change especially when they find something that works but I thought this calendar was great and a nice change of pace.

  4. i am meeeeeeeeeeeeee says:

Can you post the workout calender earlier because the time and date is diffeerent to america 🙂

  5. Jess says:

Are the descriptions for each day the names of the videos that we’re supposed to do with her everyday? On Youtube? I just recently joined Blogilates but I’m looking forward to this!

  6. Kiki says:

I, too, was disappointed when I saw the May calendar. Like many others, I don’t like repeating videos or doing HIIT style workouts with lots of cardio and jumping, and I worried that it would be discouraging and unmotivating to wake up to this format everyday. But I decided to give it a shot. First of all, there’s no jumping in these new videos, so I was rejoicing. Second, watching these same 6 videos over and over again got old really fast, especially when the same video repeats moves for each side of the body (same move x8!).

While I do miss doing mat pilates with Cassey, this change has been a nice interruption to our regular programming. The workouts themselves aren’t my favorite, but I love how hard it’s making me work and how quickly I’m able to do it all. My cardio levels are higher now than usual, I’m getting better at finishing the 4 rounds without stopping, and I feel more energetic overall because I’m in better shape from doing all the HIIT. Not to mention that I can snooze my alarm one round now that the workouts are less than 30 minutes. The shorter workout times were perfect for this month because I had a lot of early work days for a special project, and it was convenient to be done with my workout in a half hour.

The main downside (or is it upside?) to this is that my legs were getting sore after doing so many lower body moves on consecutive days. Since the fat burn workout is basically all squats and lunges, it works my lower body just has much as leg and booty day. Some weeks had 4 consecutive days of lower body, followed by a day of rest and two upper body days, which doesn’t make sense to me. I’d like to see the lower body spaced out more, maybe with an arm day in between so that my legs can be given a chance to rest and recover. That’s the main design flaw of this month’s program. I didn’t want to injure myself or prevent myself from maximizing my workouts, and not allowing my legs to recover did exactly those two things. I’ve noticed a few calendars this year with 3-4 lower body days back-to-back, and I hope that future calendars allow some more space between those workouts.

My muscles changed this month. They became thicker and bulkier from all the squatting and less elongated. The thing I love about pilates is that it elongates your muscles, so not having pilates this month altered my muscle shape. I’m looking forward to the regular calendar next month!

That said, I’m so tired of these videos from May that I hope to not see them again for several more months. That said, I’m not looking forward to the jumping moves in cardio again. 🙁

  7. Gwen says:

Could you make a running calendar for those of us who run on top of doing pilate styled workouts? Like leave 3-4x days empty or with one/two workouts and pull the focus on the other days?

  8. Holly Higdon says:

I am starting to train for a marathon next month and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to incorporate that training with her plan. I don’t want to over due myself/ injure myself because I am pushing too hard. I do know I have one day of just cardio every Sunday so I will be doing her cardio day videos then but idk what to do about the other days.

    I would love suggestions, please!

  9. Hu Trang says:

What if you have this piit28 style calendar for those who want it and also one for those who like the older calendar style? It would be more work, but more ppl could benefit from either layout depending on their preference.

    1. Thatiane L. says:

I agree! I loved the new calendar style :'(

  10. laura says:

Hi Cassey – I have to admit when I first saw this calendar I was NOT a fan. But after committing to it I actually enjoy the pace of doing the workout in 30mins and not feeling like I’ve compromised on my work out by making it shorter. I know you are going back to the old style for june but I would love to see more like this.

On a side note I’ve been following you now for about 6months and originally my goal was to lose weight – but now it’s more about pushing myself to get better at the moves and get my body to be better and stronger than it was yesterday. I also find that mentality spills into my work and personal life and i think “what will tomorrow me thank yesterday me for doing?” I went on holiday and did sea kayaking for the first time and really enjoyed it (and was good at it) which I never could have done last year.

So – thanks for continuing to create fantastic, inspiring videos that make me want to be the best me i can!

    Laura x

  11. lavanya says:

hi there! Im lavanya and i love working out with you. Im enjoying the PIIT exercises so so much. but some days i feel so guilty when i am not able to workout. I hate it so much. Can you please give me advice on how to not feel guilty when i am not able to workout due to some circumstances? ps. i love you so somuhc and you are my iron woman <3

  12. Teryn Nicol says:

I enjoy this calendar format although I agree with others that it does get a bit boring to hear the same words over and over. I wish the videos had been finished before the calendar was released because the first two weeks felt like I was doing nothing but legs, especially since the “cardio” was squats and lunges. I like the intensity of the workouts for the areas of focus, even though I don’t think I’ve managed to make it through all four rounds for any of them yet. Just have to build up my stamina some more.

  13. Gabrieli Rigoni says:

LOVEEEEEEE THIS CALENDARRRRR, PLS KEEP IT LIKE THIS ♥

  14. Rachel says:

I discovered your workouts in April and several of my friends have started to use them to workout as well. My only recommendation is to move arms and abs to the week day. Weekends have been hard to pull off a workout (excuses I know), and then Monday is leg day (squats and lunges), Tuesday is butt day (more squats and lunges), Wednesday fat burn day (squats and lunges) and then Thursday is leg slimming. Legs are definitely my problem area and they truly have gotten stronger, but a little more weekday variety would be great! Again I have so enjoyed your videos and I can tell I have become much stronger! Thank-you!

  15. Keila Garcia says:

I’m following this calendar, and while I love the workout being only 30-40min, repeating the same video 4 times is something I don’t like. I tried it, I’m doing it, and I’m going to finish it, but I hope we get the old calendars back in June! I get so bored and tired doing the same things over and over again, but also I don’t like PIIT for every single day and every single workout. I think once in a while it’s nice, but if I wanted to do it every day I would just sign for it. Thank you Cassey for trying something new and giving us a taste of PIIT style, however, that does not work for most of us to be doing it all month.

  16. Via H says:

Yesterday was my first time doing Blogilates and my friend highly recommended the calendar! Reading all of the reviews, maybe I started off in a hard month? I dunno? I look forward to getting healthy! Plus, I don’t find anything wrong with just jumping in the middle~.

  17. Anika Bruce says:

I get what people are saying about the repetitiveness of the rounds. I usually listen to music while I workout, so I don’t get bored and so I stay motivated

  18. Sonia Sweeney says:

I love the linked PDF file! Awesome!!

  19. Jane Y says:

I honestly love this new version. It actually makes me sweat MORE for some reason!

  20. BKR0731 says:

I love that we are getting a taste of PIIT28. It’s effective and efficient. I don’t mind repeating the videos (gives me an excuse to take a quick break 😉 ) except I lose count 😂 so on that note, one longer video would be helpful !

  21. Lara Bitterling says:

I just love how the May workout calendar is so different from all the others before!
The PIIT style is short and holy… so effective! It really challenges my body and that’s what I’m up for of course.
Thank you, Cassey, for giving us this little like “preview” to PIIT28 to kinda guess what the program would be like! <3

  22. Ashley C says:

    Hi Cassey!
I just wanted to let you know how much I LOVE this calendar so far! I have been kinda following your calendars for maybe almost a year now, but I kept getting unmotivated and stopping the monthly calendars, even the beginners calendar. 😮
I think I like this one so much because of the repetition and the length of the entire workout. With my job it is hard to dedicate a full hour to a workout everyday, when I’ve been doing physical work all day, so the 30 minute workouts work great for me! I’ve been thinking about starting PIIT workout but was worried I wouldn’t stick with it after buying it, so we’ll see how the rest of this month goes!
    Good luck everyone!

  23. Paris says:

I love this months work out, especially the Pitt style. I’m in so focused on my form after having jello legs the first round that I don’t even notice what’s being said after the second round.

It would be cool to have you through the whole 30 min, extra entertainment.

Lovin this month, my muscles scream! Thank you ❤️

  24. Studio On Mozart says:

I actually really like this format–I usually workout to Netflix so it’s nice not to have to find five different youtube videos on my slooow smartphone (plus ads). One thing I might improve is have a “workout” mode with no talking at the beginning or end so I don’t have to skip ahead to when the workout actually starts. But this calendar makes it nice and simple for me. I usually mix in some cardio and weights so I don’t get too bored. Change is hard peeps but I like this change.

  25. Emmi says:

Also kind of disappointed that this change feels like a promo to get us to buy something.

  26. Emmi says:

NOT a fan of the new calendar. The old format is much preferable.

  27. Crystal says:

I tried the calendar for a week. For me, it doesn’t seem as intense as other calendars and feels more like light cardio rather than HIIT style. After “Awesome Arms” on Sunday, I felt like I hadn’t even worked out. I don’t know yet what I will do for the rest of the month, but this calendar isn’t working for me.

  28. Patrycja says:

Please back to the old calendar. This new one makes me bored after 2 time and i’,m losing my motivation 🙁

  29. Jessica Robert says:

    i second jo carter

  30. Emily Payton says:

I wasn’t that enthused by this calendar – done it for a week and love it! So pleased I didn’t moan at first and gave it a try. Only thing I’ve edited is that instead of 4, i do 3 and 1 flexibility video. But that’s for my own personal journey. Whole point of POP is to make it suit you. Love to Cassey!

  31. Marina Vlasto says:

Hi! Thanks for the workouts! I’m not a huge fan of repeating the video four times, it gets a bit boring.. I’d rather do different workouts to feel different muscles working in different ways. Also, you have a ton of butt/legs on there!! add in some more abs!! I like the PIIT style, but not the repetitiveness!
Thanks for all you do 🙂

  32. Sarah Saggiante says:

I am kinda disappointed, I had bought the PIIT 28 but found it really boring and repetitive because you have to replay the same video 4 times. That is why I came back to the original website, I really like that every video is different and we get to do it with Cassey and its not in a repetitive loop. Could you please put the past calendars up?? I

  33. Marie B. says:

I just started this months calendar with the booty focus video…wow! Everything below my belly huuuuurts! 😀 I am not looking forward to try to get up the chair I am sitting on right now.
I did the beginners calendar a few month ago and I think I prefer doing different videos in one session. I guess this calendar is going to get boring pretty soon…Though I am still excited getting stronger this month! 🙂

Cassey, I think you are doing a great job! I love to go running outside but really hate the gym. So I love that I can do these workouts from home! 🙂 Thanks!
    Greetings from Germany!

  34. shelly says:

Also, a tip for those who don’t want to play the videos four times: program the moves into the Blogilates app! (Yep, it still exists.) Then you can work out to whatever music you want. Or have the TV on in the background. Or work out in the quiet.

  35. Chelsea says:

I like this calendar because I can repeat the workouts until I get good at them!

  36. audrey says:

So do we do any video that focuses on that muscle group? Also, which videos would be the fat burning? Help please.

    1. shelly says:

You do that one video on the calendar for that day (or shift around as you like) as many times as stated. For example, for May 4 you’d do the Leg Slimming PIIT video four times. All of them are fat burning, but some of them have less jumping and running than others.

  37. audrey says:

So we choose any video that focuses on that muscle group?

  38. Christina says:

Dear Cassey – I’ve been following you for over 4 years now and I LOVE your workouts and I really appreciate the time you invest in the monthly calendar, but this time I don’t like the calendar at all. As most others say I think that I will get bored repeating each video 3 – 4 times in a row. So for this month I will stick to another calendar 🙂

  39. Nina Blackwell says:

The whole point of this calendar is to prepare you for PIIT28 or to give you a taste of what PIIT28 is all about. So, I actually got pretty excited about this calendar until I did the first one and was like “UGH ANOTHER TWO TIMES?!” but that is because I am out of shape – the whole reason I am doing this. The beauty of blogilates is that you don’t HAVE to stick to the same video. After, I was done I told myself I would do the video twice then go on to different PIIT workouts that target that same area. But, I appreciate the diversity of the calendar.

  40. Becca says:

Honestly, I love Blogilates. The workout calendar was always fun and with the different videos it was fun, motivating and I didn’t have the chance to get bored during workouts. Even though I’ll try this months calendar I’m already unmotivated. The same videos over and over? If I wanted to do PIIT 28 I would have signed up for it or tried to invlude the PIIT Style Videos in my daily routine.
Maybe Cassie wants to give us the chance to get a PIIT-28-experience -which is nice… But I’d rather have a normal monthly workout plan.

  41. Julia0306 says:

I followed the calendar for two days now. What I find major discouraging about it, is that I can’t finish any video without breaks, because it’s only cardio, which is worst for me. With the old calendars, there were always videos, e.g. abs or butt videos, that I managed to do without breaks, which always felt like a huge success. I remember the feeling, when I finished Brutal Booty for the first time – so great! With a month full of repetitive cardio I’m afraid I will lose my motivation to even start working out. So I really hope for an at least mixed calender next month.

  42. Cathy says:

I don’t mind this months calendar so far, it’s a bit more cardio, so it’s making me push myself a bit more. I would suggest a stretching video for each day after the workout because since it is a bit more cardio, everyone would be properly warmed up for stretching and increasing flexibility.

  43. Chika Michelle says:

I don’t know why but calendar isn’t working for me. I click on download and the calendar pops up but I am not able to click on the videos or get any of the videos. Its literally just a visual and no links. What am I doing wrong?

  44. Paige says:

I recently had an injury, so unfortunately won’t be able to join in just yet!! Hopefully I’ll be back at it soon, and these non-jumping movements will be much easier on me. I can see why some POPsters may not like this calendar – however, I LOVE PIIT and have seen so much improvement in my fitness. Put some motivating music on and give this a go! PIIT is an investment, you won’t look back.

  45. Symone McReynolds says:

I’m doing piit28 round 2 on my last week but I’m taking a break to do the May calendar I did yesterday it was tough but awesome. I’m excited for the rest of the workouts.😊

  46. thalia says:

Hi Cassey – I have to say that I LOVE this May calendar! I fell off the bandwagon for a while and love the new 30 minute workouts for this month; it makes it feel so much more manageable with a busy schedule! I also like the repetition because I know how much further I have to go and that I can definitely make those last few reps 🙂
    xoxo

  47. Popterma says:

For some reason, my comment keeps getting deleted (twice now- I think it was too long?) Short version: I prefer the old calendar and believe the old format was a big factor in what made blogilates stand out from other programs. The new calendar resembles all the other programs out there, that have you repeat the same video with no variety. Wish I could offer more input and contribute some ideas I have, but disqus is not cooperating. 🙁

  48. Sophie Olsinski says:

Hey! I’m unable to find the videos she has on the calendar. If someone could give me the instructions on how to find them or if you could put the links, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING! Thank you!

    1. Lea says:

She normaly has a playlist with the videos of the day on her youtube-channel 🙂

  49. Angie F. says:

Even though it’s only day 2, I have to say that I LOVE this calendar! I’ll admit that I can never stick to your regular calendars, and always go back to PIIT28, so this format is perfect for me! I love that the moves are simple, yet effective, and I’m sweating a lot more than I was during PIIT 3.0!

  50. Lisa says:

I LOVE the backdrop of these new videos! The amazingly blue ocean in the background is such a treat! I would love to be able to hear the waves crashing while working out! I work out at 4:30AM and the brightness is awesome! The sound of the waves would be the cherry on top!

  51. Natalia Camardo says:

If I have to be honest I was considering the idea to follow the calendar but I’m not really enjoing the last blogilates videos.I find them too easy.I really enjoyed tough ones like arms on fire and POP HIIT…
I understand that you’re trying to give us a free PIIT calendar or something, but I prefered the previous PIIT videos you made.I even understand that many of the tough videos I like so much were made in a bad time when your goal was the perfect body and not the strenght and an healthy lifestyle.

    Always supporting you anyway.

  52. Jeannie says:

Upon discovering Blogilates last year, I remember telling my husband it was the first “at home” workout system I thought I could do….forever maybe! Why did I feel that way? What made it different from other systems I had tried? It wasn’t the moves. Double leg lifts, squats, lunges – these were not new things. It was the following 3 things:

    1. The format – I remember thinking that the format was an ingenious revelation. It didn’t feel like working out; it felt like browsing the internet. “Oh, just another 5-10 min video! I can do that.” The reason I never stuck with other systems is because they got boring. (Who wants to see the same people, in the same outfits, in the same location, doing the same moves, and saying the same jokes, day after day after day after day? With Blogilates, you got NONE of that.) It felt more akin to going to a live class, where things constantly change, rather than a workout video, where things are stale and stagnant. Totally different than anything else out there.

    2. The message – Blogilates was the first system to go beyond the body and address the spirit. I cannot express how powerful it was to find a workout program that addressed body dysmorphia and delivered positive messages regarding body image. One reason I never could stick with other systems was because they all seemed too shallow. I didn’t feel like “me” as I did them…I felt like I had to betray myself, give up part of my soul, to do them. There was nothing nourishing there. Cassey’s message of a healthly body image and working toward your life goals and dreams nourish the soul and inspire the spirit. This is what keeps you coming back for more.

    3. The host – Cassey was the first instructor I saw that had a realistic body, which felt very empowering and comforting. Cassey had a genuine, heart-felt personality that others lacked. She was modest in her attire and attitude. With Cassey, she was not working out so she could be a sex symbol. She was working out for herself, so she could enjoy the feeling of being strong, not so she could “show others” she was strong. It felt like other instructors were about showing off how awesome THEY were; Caseey was about helping YOU discover how awesome YOU are.

These are the 3 ingredients that make Blogilates special. Like others have expressed, I was disheartened to see the change to May’s calendar, fearing Blogilates may loose 1 of these core ingredients (format).

Someone suggested they would be willing to pay for the free calendars/blogilates videos. I totally agree. Blogilates could easily keep the content free as it is now, but simply add a message about donations being accepted for anyone who would like to contribute. Right now there are only 2 options for fans of Blogilates to contribute monetarily: buy PIIT or buy outfits. The problem with this is that you have several loyal consumers who cannot translate into ‘customers’ under these options. By opening up to donations, you could expand the number of supporters who could contribute. If you have 3 million followers, and even only ten percent of them donated just 1 dollar a month…imagine.

In the spirit of helpful feedback that could be put to use, here are some ideas that might help reduce the amount backlash in the future (although there will always be some since it’s impossible to please everyone):

    1. If it will be a major shift in the user experience, sending out a survey beforehand to ask the community if its something they would enjoy.

    2. Offering this new calendar, but also offering one of the old calendars, so people would have a choice, and not feel as if they were being “forced” to change their current exercise model.

    3. Providing more clarity regarding the intent. I think a lot of backlash comes from fear and uncertainty: “Is this forever?!?! Is it always going to be like this?”

I hope these ideas are helpful. Thanks to Cassey and the Blogilates team for everything you do!

  53. Mette says:

Amazing Cassey! I’m looking so much forward to trying out this new format Do you have recommendations for stretching videos afterwards?

  54. Cheryl says:

I’m excited for this! I needed shorter workouts and have left blogilates for the last few months due to time constraints. Doing the same video 4 times means pushing myself mentally as well as physically. I like to set up 4 blocks and knock them down with each workout (toddler allowing).

  55. Komal says:

Hi, I can’t seem to unlock the linked calendar inspite of putting the password. Please help. Thanks.

  56. Debs G says:

Thank you for this calendar. I was worried that I wouldn’t have the staying power to hit the repeat button four times on that first day, but when I did do it, it was a tremendous mental breakthrough for me. Developing my mental stamina alongside my physical stamina!

  57. Bely Boton says:

I dont care what everybody said i still love her workout calenders 😍 go cassey im bruneian popster beginner for 4 years! Im still beginner level cos sometimes i stopped due to work , busy schedule and something like that, but i never miss to read her newsletter and inspiration word as well the monthly calenders😍💪

  58. Lea says:

I really liked the old style because I get bored when I have to repeat the video 3-4 times, and the old calender was the first wo-Plan that i could stick to and had fun with. Anyway i will try out the New calendere and i think it could be a good idea, if the next calenders could be mix of this style and the old ones so it’s different but also has the old poppilates style with i really enjoyed:)

With others, I couldn’t shake the feeling of someone trying to brainwash me into joining a herd of sheep existing on celery sticks and vanity. Cassey had a genuine, heart-felt personality that others lacked. She was modest in her attire and attitude. In short, it felt like other instructors were working out so they could be a sex symbol and therefore feel good about themselves. With Cassey, she was not working out so she could be a sex symbol. She was working out for herself, so she could enjoy the feeling of being strong, not so she could “show others” she was strong. Others were about showing off how awesome THEY were; Caseey was about helping YOU discover how awesome YOU are.

These are the 3 ingredients that make Blogilates special. Like others have expressed, I was disheartened to see the change to May’s calendar, fearing Blogilates would loose 1 of these core ingredients (format). I am really hoping Blogilates will not stray from the model that has given it success. However, I do appreciate need to innovate. Having built her success largely on a “free content” model, Cassey has to be innovative in order to find ways she can continue to bring in income and keep the business going.

Someone suggested they would be willing to pay for the free calendars/blogilates videos. I totally agree. Blogilates could easily keep the content free as it is now, but simply add a message about donations being accepted for anyone who would like to contribute. Perhaps set up an account with patreon.com. If you have 3 million followers, and even only 10% of them donated just $1 a month…imagine.

In the spirit of constructive feedback, here are some ideas that may have helped to reduce the amount backlash experienced during this recent change (although there will always be some backlash since it’s impossible to please everyone):

    1. Sending out a survey beforehand to ask if this was something the community would enjoy. Involve the community in any decisions that could result in a major shift to the user experience.

    2. Offering this new calendar, but also offering one of the old calendars, so people would have a choice, and not feel as if they were being “forced” to change their current exercise model.

I hope these ideas are helpful. Thanks to Cassey and the Blogilates team for everything you do!

  60. Drish says:

Hi Cassey, I definitely appreciate what you’re trying to do here with the May calendar, but I really do hope this isn’t permanent! My problem with working out has always been that I get bored easily but the old calendar was the perfect solution. So while I have purchased piit28 and as effective as it is, I find myself going back to the calendar for this very reason. It’s like you say, you should do a workout that you genuinely enjoy doing. I will go ahead with the May calendar with an open mind but please do take this into consideration for next month! Thanks for reading this 🙂

  61. aksemoran says:

Actually, the calendar itself isn’t so bad. I really like the linked feature. The workout is nice too, I really love it even though I just started day one (on day two…) but yeah, I agree with some people here. It’ll be good if Cassey do the entire 4 sets with us. it’ll be more motivating and energizing, I guess, because some of us will stop half way through. I know this sounds so spoiled, but people just need that drive sometimes. Anyway, thank you so much Cassey!! 😉 and good luck people!

  62. Lucia Gutierrez says:

Hey girls! I liked more the old calendars, the thing I liked most is that you never got bored with them. I liked SO much that every video was different, I now thay is so much work, but I think that’s one of the things that makes she the best. Please come back to the old way Cassey.

Maybe there is a lot of people who wants harder workouts but we can find them in PIIT28, and this way all the new stuff is PIIT. 🙂
Maybe she is trying to give some PIIT28 for free to everyone, and she will come back to the old format. I really hope so but it is not easy to make everyone happy.

I’ll still give it a try though!
Thank you for the calendar, always appreciate

  63. Kathryn St John-Shin says:

I really like this new calendar, but I understand where everyone’s coming from when they say they don’t like it. PIIT is repetitive and many people don’t like it. I myself am looking forward to it cuz I’m a piitster but not every popster is a piitster. The two don’t go hand-in-hand. For all those people who don’t like this new calendar, don’t forget that Cassey has TONS of old monthly calendars. I doubt your body remembers the May calendar from 2016 or 2015 etc. Maybe go with one of those? I know the dates won’t match the days of the week but each May has 31 days so at least that’s the same. It still works perfectly well. And if you don’t like that idea, there’s always plugging in your own video ideas. You know her format by now of focusing on different parts of the body on different days etc. Her videos are separated very nicely and conveniently on her Youtube channel (if not here as well) so it should be easy to choose which videos to do each day. 🙂 I’ve actually done that in the past when I didn’t care for a video she had posted for the day. I just went in and exchanged it for another of the same. It works perfectly well and is so simple to do. ^_^ Good luck! 😀

    1. Sarah Saggiante says:

How do you find the old calendars?

      1. Kathryn St John-Shin says:

Go to the Search box at the bottom of this site and type in whatever month you want and “calendar.” For example, “April Calendar.” Because they’re past months, you no longer need a password to get them. 😉 I love saving all the calendars but I think that’s just because I love collecting things. ^_^

  64. Sarah Olson says:

I haven’t strictly followed these calendars, but I think I am going to try this one! It seems challenging & FUN!

  65. Mariana says:

As someone that is about to graduate from university and starting finals next week, aka “hell is about to break lose”, i gotta say i am happy over this calendar!! Earlier this year i started with PITT since i knew i didn’t have enough time to work out with the usual calendars. Right now I was doing the bootcamp since it is similar to PIIT, so seeing this calendar i feel like doing it all to get faster results and keep myself in track even when i am stressing out.

To everyone that thinks its repetitive i recommend pausing the beginning where you can see all the moves (after doing the first round and understanding the moves), and then play some awesome music that pump your energy up while using your phone to check on times. Or follow the video but mute it. To be honest music is KEY for me to keeping me working because by 3rd round i wanna die and give up lol But i tell myself that this is a step to get closer to toned legs/arms/back/abs and know it is worth it 🙂

Give it a try guys, i also hated repetitive work outs but i learned to see it as a challenge and play music that keep my energy up. At the end of it you will feel like you did it and by repeating the exercise every week you will realize how you are getting stronger since they will start getting easier, so it is also a way to realize on those tiny achievements that you would otherwise not notice 🙂

  66. Emma Stevens says:

I really am looking forward to this calendar. I love changing things up to keep it fresh. Thank you Cassey for taking the time to even make any kind of calendar! I will certainly not complain when its free and it works. I have been doing the calendars for a long time and have seen amazing results and can’t wait to see how this turns out. Thank you Cassey!

  67. Samantha Ballard says:

Carpe Diem guys! It’s a whole new chance to learn what it’s like to do PIIT! I know it might not be your usual variety, but it’s a chance for you to get stronger! If they are a little too crazy, you are always welcome to modify the moves and still get a great workout! Don’t like repetition? Hey, that’s okay. Give each new video a chance, then tack on two or three videos of the same kind. Personally, I like the little photos. They are cute. They match the unicorn coloring in the back. ^^

  68. Haley Schmitz says:

So I saw this calendar yesterday and was kind of disappointed because I really loved the old format, but I tried the first work out today and it went really well for me and challenged me in a way I hadn’t been challenged since I started several months ago. So I’m still hopeful this will be a good month, and I’m looking forward to another calendar next month!

  69. Amanda says:

    Cassey,
I read your recent Instagram post on how you are reading our comments and appreciate constructive criticism. While I truly appreciate you trying to do something new and innovative for us, I do NOT like the new MAY calendar. I also suffer from adrenal fatigue (as I read someone else’s comment stating the same), and your monthly calendars were the perfect workout for me. I have tried PIIT, and while I enjoyed it, I could only sustain doing it for a month before I became extremely exhausted.
I have recently recovered from pleurisy in February, and while I encourage others to try the new calendar, I will be seeking out your old ones. On a sidenote, I really appreciate the extra app only videos for purchase, and the archived calendars that I have already completed. Blogilates is a workout that makes me happy and that I can SUSTAIN. PIIT is not.
In the future, I would love more of the old Blogilates calendars and workouts. While PIIT is great, I believe where you really shine is POP PILATES.
I am a loyal Popster, going on three years, and look forward to all that you offer in the future. Please keep up the great work! You are an inspiration to all Cassey.
    Amanda

  70. Ana says:

So I guess I’ll stick with the April calendar then, lol. Cassey, if you’re reading this, please make the June calendar like it use to be. :*

  71. Alina Jungblut says:

i love the desgin of this calender – the backround, the little pictures, the colors – everything!! also i think it’s great that you changed it up a little bit because i didn’t work out the last two weeks and i feel pretty down but this has motivated me to stick to the calender again. so thank you i love it hopefully it’s gonna work (which also means i need to stop with these awful sweets and trashy foods wish me luck haha)

  72. Naz says:

I’m excited to try this calendar as I haven’t been consistent for a long while! I’m doing this and the 28-day reset with my sisters and I think that since this calendar is to repetitive, we’ll be able to get a habit down!

I’m a newbie and looking to lose weight and eat clean, so either way I know that taking part in this set of eating habits and workouts will really help. 🙂

  73. Ashley Booth says:

I think the new calendar is beautiful! I love the old calendars, and I hope to continue with that format. But I am also very excited to give this a try. Just printed it out and I am pumped!

  74. stardustlover101 says:

Hey Cassey! So Ive just recently started really dedicating myself to blogilates and your calendars and have been doing the beginner 2.0 calendar for the past month. It took much self-motivation and persistence but I was able to push through and also really noticed how much strength I gained throughout the month. Now I decided that for may I want to start joining the regular calendar and boom everything’s totally switched up. TBH i was quite excited to go on trying to do the classic calendar style workouts so yes I was a little disappointed with the new layout but I mean I will still try! I am a little scared and intimidated that I wont be able to cope but I mean Ive got this far so I don’t just want to give up simply because something is not the way I expected it to be. I am even quite glad that the workouts aren’t gonna be that long though! I am going to try my best but I’d wish that for next month you could maybe do a mix of these kind of workouts and the normal ones so that everyone is happy and I can personally challenge myself with the classic popilates style. Love you xx

  75. Kelly says:

I can’t believe I am seeing so many negative and hurtful comments. I don’t think a lot of you appreciate the hardwork Cassey puts in to come up with workouts to put into calendars for all of us! And they are free! I get change is hard but instead of complaining on how it looks and the style of the workouts why not give it a try! Also, there’s nothing wrong with not liking the calendar but it’s the way it comes across to Cassey, since it’s her work, she takes it personally. The pop community is supposed to be supportive not rude.

  76. Taunya says:

Hi from Vancouver, BC Canada! (Please come visit us up here in the north!) Just wanted to say thanks for all the great tools you provide! That being said I’m already not loving the new calendar after the first workout. 🙁 Don’t want to seem ungrateful but its hard to stay motivated when you know whats coming and hitting repeat. I loved the variety the other calendars provided. just my two cents.

  77. Sarah Rabelo says:

I’d just like to thank Cassie for this month’s calendar and say that this actually saved my month and mental health… Since this is my last term in high school and college entrance exams are just a month away, I’ve been struggling real hard in terms of finding time and energy to work out since I do have to study, do homework, prepare school projects, etc… Not to mention housekeeping. There were days when I’d finish everything by midnight or 1 a.m. And workout until 2, going to bed by 3 and wake up at 7 am. The past (March and April at least) calendars were a complete failure for me, not because they were bad but because I couldn’t adjust them to my schedule. With this one, I feel I’ll just make it somehow, it’s shorter, it’s simpler and require just as much energy (for a living zombie like me at the moment). Fighting against anxiety is not easy either and when you’re really tired and can’t find time to workout, sometimes (unfortunately) unhealthy food seem to be your “medicine”, which is obviously quite dangerous. So, I understand some of you might find this calendar is not the best one but I’d just like to believe Cassie is looking after all her fans and as such, trying to help those who also are not able to keep the “real” pace for now. That’s why I say, please be patient and please, do respect other people’s circumstances as well, we all want to get fit and live healthier lives. Thank you, Cassie. You’re my Diva ~ ♡

    1. Anika Bruce says:

i feel you hardcore. I seem to never have time to do workouts with all the high school stuff going on, but having the shorter workouts makes it so I can’t make up excuses for not exercising!

  78. Simona says:

Just did the first day of four reps! It made me sweat A LOT but I managed to get trough it. I made the first rep by video and then other three by myself with a timer and music. I hope I will manage to do the whole calendar. Love you Cassey! <3

  79. Chadell Burton says:

Been kinda lazy lately…have been looking forward to the new May calendar. I think it’s a great idea to change things up from time to time. This has got me even more motivated. I know some people don’t like change, but change is what makes us better. We don’t want to get stagnant😁
Thanks for all of your hard work Cassey!

  80. AboutBeauty 09 says:

This makes me excited i stopped working out last month and i was like ugh calendar again probs not gonna workout but now that i’ve seen this new layout I’m excited to workout

  81. Clara says:

Hey Cassey !! I love the new calendar and the motivating PIIT exercises !! It’s effective, fast and energetic !! I would love more calendars like this !
Thanks for all the good energy you and your team are giving every day !! Love ! Clara

  82. Gabs says:

Was it a bad idea starting calendars with this one? I mean im doing blogilates for two months day after day video after video and i have just dicided to really follow a calendar … I like it but i only managed to do 2 repeats… What should i do? Ihave only a few kilos more than i should and im not that unfit… Any ideas? Thanks (I’ll keep trying though )

    1. Simona says:

Just keep going! While working out keep telling yourself you can do this and don’t stop. And in some time, you will get even stronger so just keep pushing yourself. And don’t forget: “Sweat, smile and repeat!” 😉

  83. Alyssa Doman says:

Love this idea! I don’t get the negativity so many people have though! It gives people the chance to experiment and try something new, and sort of commit to PIIT before buying the program to see if they like it. Plus it is a great apartment-friendly option for those who want to do PIIT or something like PIIT but can’t get away with being noisy from jumping about. If you really don’t like it, then just follow a calendar from a previous month, or maybe make your own calendar using the focus on each day as a guide? You could even do the video once, and then pick 3-4 other videos that focus on the same area. This is a wonderful chance to get creative! We can’t have her hold our hand forever.

  84. Alison Ball says:

Am I doing something wrong? I click on where it says click here to enter password and nothing happens.

  85. Kelly says:

I love pop pilates because it is pilates – and am not looking to amp up my cardio as much as this calendar wants me to. I’ll be doing random videos this month and not following this month’s calendar, too much cardio for me.

  86. Shelby says:

    Hi Cassey,
I’ve been following your calendars for years now, but I’m not sure how I feel about this format. Didn’t you say in the first one of these new videos that they are beginner style? For some of us, that is much too easy. Also, the workout calendar pictures are going to be a bit awkward to hang up on my wall this month.

  87. Belinda says:

It’s a pity, but this is nothing for me. I tried PIIT for two weeks and found out that I absolutely hate the high intensity factor. I fight for motivation every time I have to work out (and I work with you since three years now), and the only way I have a little bit of fun with working out is when I am NOT lay down in sweat and bearly get air. I sweat with POPPilates for sure, but that’s nothing compared with PIIT.
I hope there will be a “normal” calender for june. This is the first time I don’t like something you give to us Cassey, really. I am sorry but I am so not a Piitster, I am a Popster.

  88. Angelia says:

When Cassey first released PIIT28, she got a lot of negative feedback regarding the cost. Most of us wanted to try it, but not everyone could afford to.
Now, she is doing her best go give everyone a feel for PIIT28 FOR FREE, with a pretty sweet discount for the program !! 🙂
If you don’t like this format (and I can understand why – repetition does get boring after a while), you can always replay a previous month’s calendar. This new format is probably just for May anyways, so we can see what a month of PIIT-style workouts feel like, then decide if we want to buy the program.
It’s hard to please everyone, but please let’s stay positive #GoodVibesOnly <3
Keep killing it everyone 😉 xo

  89. Maryne says:

Hey everybody ! Quick question, is there a way to get the April calendar ? I’m not very fond of that one, I just finished the beginner and I really liked the fact that we got different video for the same workout session, I’m afraid I won’t be motivated to do 4 times the same video in a row. I love hearing Cassey speak when I work out, it distracts me and I need it but… yeah after 3 times I’m kind of like ‘ok I know what you are going to say’ .
I know that she certainly worked very hard with that one and I’m sure it’s perfect to get ready for the PIIT as she pointed out and that a lot of people will love it anyway !!!

      1. Maryne says:

        Thank you 😀

  90. Andrea Guillou says:

Are there no warmups or stretches for before and after the workouts? I find that weird….I hope no one gets hurt.

  91. a change in pace is exactly what i needed to get me motivated for work outs again and just in time to prepare for summer, and i love that they will be shorter but still a good work out, will make it so much easier to fit into my schedule around work! thanks cassey for all your hard work!

  92. rain84 says:

Not a fan of this new style either, like many of the commenters below, i don’t like the PIIT workouts so seeing a full month of that is discouraging. I will give it a go for a week but i think i will just end up doing one of the old calendars, and keep my fingers crossed we go back to the old style in June.

  93. Sheena says:

I don’t know why everyone is so negative? I love it !!!! 💕Thanks Cassie 💋

  94. Vũ Anh says:

Hey guys! Well…. I’m a new one. I’m 153 centimeters tall and I’m 52 kilos ( I’m still a student ). I’m a bit overweight, but not so much. I wanna ask you guys, will these workouts work for me? Can I lose weight and being slimer if I do this? I wonder to know. Sorry for my bad English, I’m Vietnamese

  95. Leanne says:

Does anyone know why the Stretch Focus,
Arm Focus and Leg Focus aren’t showing up yet. Is it maybe because Cassey is yet to film them or they aren’t on her YouTube channel yet? X

    1. Shelby says:

They haven’t been uploaded yet. She uploads a video once a week, on Sundays. So I’m not sure if she’s going to upload them all at once soon or what.

  96. Melany says:

Hello Cassey, I’m following you sincer last year! Your videos are cute and every day is a challenge for me
It’s interesting that you tried to change the format of the day but I’m a little dissapointed 🙁 I don’t like the idea of the same video for a day.. I hope you will make next month a calendar in old style for the popsters that are not very happy with this one

  97. Katlin Power says:

I’m actually excited to try this new calendar. With working full-time and trying to keep up with school and a social life, I felt like I didn’t really have time to workout. Now that the workouts intend to be shorter and also more intense, I feel like I’ll be able to squeeze them in!

  98. ScareWaldorf says:

I like that this is differenthe. This plus the money off code is inspiring me to try PIIT 1.0 in June.

    1. Paige says:

Yes. I 100% recommend PIIT. My fitness level improved MASSIVELY. It’s definitely an investment worth making. Good luck – there’s also a PIIT community on Facebook.

  99. Anaïs says:

    Hi!
I have a pb, I can not unlock the linked pdf on my iPad!
Do someone know how to do it? Thank u

  100. Femke says:

Am I the only one who can hardly manage to do one round without breaks? I’m trying but I’ll probably have to stop a lot!
Ah well, I hope to see a lot of progress later ;p

  101. Gabi says:

Sorry, but I’m gonna have to agree with everyone who didn’t like this new callendar. I mean, it could still be Piit style (which doesn’t really work for me, cause I get bored) but the fact that it is the same videos the ENTIRE MONTH makes me even more worried cause when she released the snowbunny blast i did it, every Wednesday, and after that month I couldn’t do that video for a long time, I started to hate it. Guess I just don’t work with things that repeat a lot.

  102. Linette says:

Thanks Cassey and team. Appreciate your effort.

  103. Nathalie says:

I am all about trying new things.I see what Cassey is trying to do.Please, spread happiness.NOT hate. She is trying her best to please everybody. If you don’t like it,tell her your thoughts, your ideas on this format and add some ideas that probably will suit your preferences.
    Cassey,go girl,YOU KILL IT!

  104. bextannya says:

Not sure if I’m just not a morning-workout person, but day 1 has completely wiped me out after 2 sets!!! Gotta get back into shape if I’m going to be doing the recommended number of sets. Good job on a challenging month, Cassey!!! 🙂

  105. Lee C. says:

Girls, where can I see the videos (beside youtube, ofcourse)? They used to be here on the website, day by day kind of thing…

  106. Simona says:

Can’t wait to do it! But I will probably set a timer so I will do workouts by myself because watching the same video four times sounds a little boring…

  107. Maryne says:

Yeah I just finished beginner calandar so I’m up for that one ! Hope I ll be able to do all of it ! So excited, i’m gonna start right now!!

  108. Anna says:

I’m disappointed with this new calendar. I really enjoyed doing the workouts because they were so varied, every time something different. So I guess I’ll have to look for videos myself.

  109. Andi Bokelmann says:

    So excited!

  110. Simona says:

I LOVE the idea of this workout calendar. However, I find cardio really hard so I’m not exactly sure how it will go for me. But I don’t understand how people can say they don’t like it before even trying it… I will say how I feel about it after I’ve tried it! Also, I think it’s great for those of us who wanted to try PIIT28 program, but didn’t want to spend the money.

  111. Laila says:

I’m not going to lie the calendar is definitely different, but I’m glad Cassey is trying something new. It’s not the prettiest, but I’m all about the content as as long as it makes me sweat I’m good! I think she tries her hardest to deliver an amazing free product to people who are looking for an introduction into a healthy lifestyle so just for that I’m open to give this calendar a try.

Thanks for all your work Cassey! I’m excited to give this month’s workout a try!

  112. Marie Sasse says:

I am actually really excited for this. I will try it this afternoon! Thank you for always posting these calendars. I use your calendars 4 times a week and I go to the gym 2 times a week for cardio. And is it so much fun. Your workouts really keep me motivated and I always come back. It never gets boring and I don’t think this new calendar will. I am thrilled to do something new, so yeah thanks for this calendar and see you this afternoon with a sweaty face! 🙂 Greetings from Germany

  113. popster_Rose says:

What’s about all those negative comments? 🙁
I personally really like the new format!! 😀
It’s modern, simple, really pretty and short. And because it looks like a really quick workout (only one video noted down and not the whole square full with different workouts) I’m more motivated to do it!
Although i’m already doing Piit, i’m definitely in for this challenge!
Keep up the good work! <3

  114. meric says:

Cassey, im sorry to tell this but i really didnt like this new calender style. i like to do different exercises. making the same thing four times during a month… this is not a good idea for me. you are my motivation source but with this i felt bored. i will try to do april calender again.. :/

  115. Gracie says:

Wow, this new calendar turned out to be quite divisive, huh? I’m kind of in the minority I guess, because I find this new schedule interesting. I’ve actually strayed off the April calendar in the past week and have been doing the PIIT workouts instead. It kind of feels like kismet that Cassey decided to do the same. The repetitiveness could possibly bore me at some point though, but when that happens I’ll just pick a different video and keep on moving. 🙂

    1. popster_rose says:

      Totally agree with you!!
I like the change and Piit workouts are really intense. And i really like to know what to do and how many reps/minutes are left 🙂

  116. Toni says:

This new calendar goes against everything I liked about the Blogilates Calendar and why I fell in love with it years ago. I had a feeling something crazy was going to happen soon with all of Cassey’s growth… but this disappoints me so much 😔

  117. Goldie Drake says:

I love this new calendar it’s a great idea and really breaks it down simply instead of jumping around which I like -Change is good ❤keep up the amazing work Cassie

  118. Chi Yan says:

I personally feel that all POPsters should take this change in a more positive light. It is okay to dislike this calendar because it doesn’t suit you, but let’s all appreciate Cassey’s hard work shall we? (-: Don’t leave hate or hurtful comments guys, the POP community is supposed to be supportive. I think Cassey won’t make this permanent since it’s a 6 week body toning bootcamp, so it’s gonna be fine guys! Also, it’s always interesting to try something new or something we dislike because it always manages to push ourselves beyond our boundaries. We might even surprise ourselves with what we can do!

  119. Ina says:

I like this idea. This is so simple but so hard.very useful.love ya.

  120. Jackcett says:

I hope blogilates can return the calendar back to the old style one. This feel kinda boring for the repeating videos.Hope there is changes for next month calendar. But somehow i still will give it a try although this calendar is not as motivate as the old ones .

  121. Yuki Nozofan says:

I finished the beginner calendar last month and I was looking forward to this month calendar but it looks like I won’t be doing it 🙁 I don’t really like the PIIT format and doing the same video 4x times is too boring for me… I hope the old calendar will comeback next month.

  122. Georgia says:

So excited to start fresh in May! I did a week of the beginners 2.0 calendar (started late in the month) and then got off track because I competitively dance. But I’m deterimined to stick to this calendar! Let’s get it POPsters!!

  123. mountain lions says:

I like the calendar. Ppl you don’t have to follow tick for tack. If it says “Booty Focus”, then you can do the Booty Focus video once and include a few other booty centered workouts if you want. That’s the good thing about Blogilates & her calendars…You have freedom and can adjust as you see fit. Sometimes, I even move cardio days around to better fit my schedule. It’s just about getting it done.

  124. Prathiksha Divyanand says:

Hey Cassey I love the idea of this new calendar, it’s a change needed since summer is almost here . Can wait to try it out, it looks so exciting and different from your previous ones. I love how these don’t take up a lot of time since I workout in the morning, meaning I can sleep a little bit more. It was at times kinda hard keeping up with all those videos before now no more excuses.

  125. Katie says:

I’ve been doing Blogilates calendars for years now and have loved them until now. If I wanted a PIIT style workout I would sign up for PIIT, but I don’t like the system. I was planning on switching to weightlifting in the fall since blogilates is getting too easy for me and it seems I’ll be starting this month instead. I hate the idea of repeating the same video 4 times in a row, and hate even more that I’d be repeating the same video the same day each week. Wouldn’t this result in stagnation? I’m sorry Cassey, but I don’t think this calendar caters to the majority of your base.

  126. Ina says:

Umm.sorry .but please return to back like last ones

  127. Teala says:

I’m excited about this! I haven’t been working out for several months and I’ve gained a bunch of weight because of so much lack of movement at the job I just left. I planned on getting back into working out this month since I’m away from it now and the 6 Week Body Toning Bootcamp is what I planned on doing. So it’s really weird how the May calendar turned out to be almost nothing but those videos. I’m looking forward to trying to tackle this month’s calendar even in the midst of the crazy life changes that are going on right now. I think this is going to be a fun challenge for me 🙂

  128. Nikki Sweat says:

I started my workouts with Cassey back in 2015 with the beginners calendar and loved the way that the videos changed every day, month to month there was always something new. When she came out with PIIT, i originally really liked the concept but there was too much jumping for me, and because i was trying to keep up with her pace in the video as well as improper warmups before hand, i injured my hip flexor and haven’t been able to work out. I was hoping that coming into may, she would have new videos for us and the layout of the old calendars. I will do the Beginners cal if i am able to this month, just kind of dissapointed because im not a huge cardio fan at the moment and really dont want to reinjure myself. Just hope she goes back to original pop pilates and keeping the monthly cal free. As a college student, free is a lifesaver, and Cassey is the only one i really like working out with. We’ll see how this month goes!

  129. Rochelle says:

I’m excited to try this out. I’ve been feeling unmotivated and down lately and to be honest, I’ve fallen off my workout routine. It seemed like too much. This calendar seems super simple to me, in that I can just put the vid on a loop and I’d be done for a day. I’m so ready to give it a shot. It’s a welcome change (for me). Wish me luck! 🙂 Thanks for the calendar Cassey! xo

  130. Lottie says:

I’m so happy about this!!! I was really looking forward to the May calendar bc I recently started working out with blogilates againg and I’ve been really interested about the PIIT28! So this gives me a chance to try it out yay! Sure the calendar isn’t the most aesthetic one but I really like it that Casey is trying something new and I’m sure that this month will be just as fun as the other months!

    1. Chi Yan says:

Count me in! I have always been interested to try how PIIT28 feels like but I just haven’t gotten around to buy it 😛 I guess this acts perfectly as a trial for PIIT and I’m so excited to try it too!

      1. Sandra Lo🍄 says:

Me too omg didnt had the money to buy piit28 so May calendar rockss. Plus the workouts per days are shorter suiting my university’s exam period! Yeah let’s try our best!

  131. Laura Thaxton says:

I’m all about a shorter workout at this point in my life. Just don’t have the time to work out longer than that. So excited to see the results I will achieve this month!

  132. Katie says:

Looks like the end of Blogilates as we know it! I’ve paid for and tried PIIT and didn’t like it, doing the same thing 4 times is boring as hell. Wouldn’t be so bad if the video was actually as long as the workout but you honestly want us to watch the same short Ab Focus video 16 times this month? I’ve noticed the calendars changing each month pushing us more and more towards PIIT. The variety in the calendars is the whole reason Blogilates worked for me so this is really disappointing. I second someone belows suggestion to put up an archive of old calendars to access, because I definitely won’t be doing this.

I know at the end of the day it’s a business and growth/profit is the primary goal, and the old calendar is free so obviously we’re being pushed into PIIT instead, but you know I’d actually gladly pay a few bucks a month for the old calendar. If this is the future of Blogilates then I’m out – repetitive workouts and a calendar full of butt pictures, no thanks.

    1. Katelyn Norris says:

I agree seeing a calendar that is supposed to motivate me, but instead is full of butt pictures is truly discouraging. If I was a new person to the world of blogilates I would not even think twice about finding something else. I don’t like to be negative but this calendar just doesn’t seem like something Cassey would send out to all of us!

      1. Katie says:

Exactly! I find it really goes against what she is always saying ‘it’s not about vanity.’ By putting images of perfect legs, butts, slim waists etc on the calendar makes it hard not to see the goal of that day as anything but vanity.

My absolute favourite thing about Blogilates is how it’s not marketed with transformation photos and a million pictures of Cassey’s abs etc (such as Kayla Itsines social media!) because even though most of us probably are doing this for vanity (at least a bit), the absence of that content just stops you from going there. One image is enough to get sucked into the wormhole of hot bodies and self loathing browsing through social media, and I just find this calendar full of body images immediately triggers that image obsessed frame of mind that so many of us struggle with. Seems over analytical when they are just little cartoon pictures, but for me personally it’s about recognising and avoiding things that trigger me and the second I saw this calendar I recoiled a bit and knew I was not going to be following this months program.

  133. Kayllie Eden says:

I hate to complain or say anything negative, but I just want to be open & honest. I’m not too excited about this new calendar. 🙁 For me I already did 4 months of PIIT & I just enjoy the monthly calendars more because of all the different videos each day. I’m going to still try & push through!

  134. Tara says:

I love this new shorter workout time calendar! I recently started working (previous stay at home mom) and I loved following the calendar but now with work I didn’t have the time. This new calendar will definitely fit into my schedule now! And I will be able to add ankle weights and hand weights to the videos that feel too easy for me. Great idea changing the format!

  135. Jo Carter says:

I like the less time this calendar will take, but I also find I get bored when I have to repeat videos, especially in a row on the same day. I would love it if you did the entire length in one video. Do all the rounds with us, then we get some fresh Cassey inspiration throughout the whole thing, not just the same repeated.
Another idea, if the calendars are all going to stay this way, could you do a back catalogue of the old style calendars for those who want to keep following them? I know myself, I often won’t have the password as I delete the original email.
I love the shorter workout time though! Time cannot be modified but a workout can!

    1. Al Prezzia says:

I like your idea of Cassey filming all 4 rounds instead of us repeating 1 round 4 times

      1. Jo Carter says:

Definitely! I’d be so down for this if the video was the entire length of all of the rounds.

        1. Kim Kewley says:

Me too gets annoying by round 3 the same video on loop i would like to have them with her doing them all in one hit to

          1. human says:

            so true 🙁

    2. Laura says:

thats exactly what i thought. I can stick to 40minutes of different videos because i dont notice how times flies, but repeating the same video 4 times gets me unmotivated before i start. i will do the video once and look up for other videos that target the daily area.

      1. haomoli says:

I have that same bored and unmotivated feeling about this calendar. I thought i would like it, and for a week I did, until i was not interested in doing that same thing over and over. can’t wait for the old calendar formate to come back.

    3. Holly J says:

I like that idea! I haven’t been motivated to stick with this month’s calendar because I get bored after the second round. In fact, I went back and repeated the April calendar because I actually prefer the OLD format. Maybe if she did multiple videos, that are higher in intensity, but take less time? This would be helpful and doable. Either way, whatever you decide to do, Cassey, I thank you for your videos, advice, hard work, and constant motivation. It has really helped me to improve my health, and overall wellbeing. I really appreciate all of the things you do to help your fans in their health journey. Thank you. *hugs*

    4. Carla Spark says:

A back catalogue would be great!!

  136. Mochachiiiii says:

I think the calendar is super cute. I really just don’t want to do the snow bunny blast challenge 4 times lmaooooooo attempting that four times is gonna be fun

  137. Juji says:

Thank you for the calendar, Cassey! I wanted to try PIIT, but was afraid that if I sign up and don’t stick to it I would just be more disappointed. Very gladly surprised and excited to try it this month!

  138. Kalinah Khan says:

Not a big fan of repeating videos 4 times either. I like the normal calendar. I don’t like the PIIT workouts because there is a lot of jumping and I have a bad knee. I did purchase PIIT last year and didn’t stick with it because I felt like I had to do the moves so fast that I was not keeping correct form, therefore my workouts were not as intense and fulfilling. I actually gained 10 pounds doing these exercises. Please go back to the normal calendars.

  139. Hanan Erku says:

I really love the new calender. I didn’t do well in April so I’m really exited for this calender

  140. Julia says:

I can’t use this calendar! Due to adrenal burnout, it’s all I can do to workout 5 days a week on the NORMAL POP Pilates calendar. Adding even one more day (6 days a week) throws off my hormones. There’s NO way I can do HIIT 6 days a week and not have health issues.
I’m so sad to see there’s no other option this month. This means Cassey will be losing my participation the month of May. I don’t know what I’ll do instead, maybe seek out PopSugar workouts on my own for the month, but I’m deeply disappointed.

  141. Lucie.luxin says:

Hello Cassey from the Czech Republic!
I love you, all your videos and everything you do! <3
But I must admit I hate this calendar 🙁 For me, I get bored during workouts very easily. And to repeat the same workout + repeat it every week is torture for me.

I was so excited for the new calendar but I honestly I'm disappointed right now. I believe that for someone it might be more challenging, not for me though :-/

So I will just follow old calendars 🙂

Anyway, thank you for all your work and have a very nice daaaay!!! :)))

    1. Tara says:

That’s exactly how i feel! The old calendars were way nicer and more exciting.

  142. Julia0306 says:

I don’t think I’ll follow the calendar in May since it doesn’t motivate me at all. Hopefully the “old style” will be back in June…😟

  143. Keila Garcia says:

One of the reasons I wanted to start the monthly calendar was because of the variety of videos, and I really get bored after doing the same thing over and over again… I like changes, and improving, but I think I liked the previous calendar more!

  144. Suzannah says:

I don’t want to sound negative but I’m a little disappointed and don’t really like this format, especially since I haven’t been enjoying the new Focus series very much. If I wanted to do PIIT28 then I would have signed up for that yknow? 🙁

For me, I like traditional pop pilates and PIIT combo more than doing the same video again and again- the changes of pace are more engaging for me and it keeps me motivated.

I’ll still give it a try though! If not, I guess we can replay the April calender for this month again?

    1. Not enjoying Focus either says:

I agree :/ Repeating videos makes me frustrated

    2. popster_rose says:

Or just try out the new format and maybe it surprises you and you’ll like it!! 😀
They probably worked hard on this and it’s good they want to keep develop and improve Blogilates/Poppilates and yes for that change is necessary.
But if you don’t like piit style workouts there are tons of older blogilates workouts left to do as well! 🙂

  145. Shadd says:

Hi Cassey<3 I just noticed that you've upload the new calendar! Wohoo! I also like it, but I like it more when are differents videos, it's good just to change a little, that's true! Let's try it! xx

  146. Kaydee says:

Noo..I’m slightly disappointed of this calendar. I wasn’t following the calendars for a while, and started again in March, and having a variety of videos rather than repeating the same thing 4 times was my favourite thing, was so looking forward for the May calendar… :(((

  147. Lettwen Nic says:

So… I just finished the Beginner’s Calendar yesterday (today is my rest day), do I supposed to do this one tomorrow? Oh my godness lol

    1. Sofyssm says:

Ahha, yes you are and good luck! Ah, and welcome to our community 😊

      1. Lettwen Nic says:

Thank you! Just did the first day and I’m dying lmao

  148. Katelyn Norris says:

I’m sorry but I REALLY DON’T like this new calendar it doesn’t make me motivated at all to workout. And it does not make a good desktop background, with butt and leg pictures. Sorry but I like the old workout calendars, yes change is good but not this change….

    1. Amy McGrath says:

Same here. I think it is the same workouts four times a month.

      1. I think Cassey is trying something new for this month by changing up the style of the workouts! She works really hard to please us POPsters, and sometimes she can’t please us all. I can understand that being experimental is really hard when there’s an expectation placed on her for negative feedback like this.

But maybe give it a try for a week or just a few days, I think you’ll still see results especially if you’re new!

I personally would love to see harder workouts from her because everything is getting easier and easier and I feel like for us advanced popsters there’s nothing.

        1. BlueMeow7 says:

Agree. All of the newer videos are beginner levels and too easy for intermediate/advanced popsters.

          1. How long have you been at it? Pop pilates that is.

          2. BlueMeow7 says:

            2 1/2 years. You? 🙂

        2. Anna Myllys says:

You should try PIIT28. It is hard. I managed first round of it, which means one month but it was too much of my level so now I do gladly these easier videos just so much I like. And after one round of PIIT 28 there is second month with extra videos and if that is going too easy for some of advanced there is sequels PIIT 28 volume 2 and volume 3 which Cassey promises are even harder and even higher level. 🙂 So I don’t think that anyone gets bored if you like challenges with those. 🙂 It isn’t that expensive actually and you have that program for yourself for eternity with that 40 US dollars so it costs itself back. Worth of trying!

          1. Anna Myllys says:

In PIIT 28 there is that same as here that you repeat same video 4 times which can be boring yes, but what Cassey wants I think is that everyone should use that blogilates app for smart phone, where you put all the moves and times there and repeat the moves without repeating videos. I find it unpleasant to use because I like Casseys motivations talks and it is hard to remember moves if you can’t watch them same time, but yeah after repeating same videos over and over again perhaps you remember the moves and the order which comes next and then keep doing them without Cassey at all. But it is bit of lonely way to work out all by yourself, I think. 🙂

          2. I’m on a student budget, so as much as I would like to, I probably won’t purchase workout programs! But thanks for the reply and the feedback, I really appreciate a popster like you taking the time out of their day to answer my question!

          3. Anna Myllys says:

No problem. 🙂 Have a nice summer!

          4. You too! What workout program will you be doing in the summer?

          5. Anna Myllys says:

I think that basic workout program which comes every day on youtube. If there is some moves I don’t like to do that day, I just replace them the ones I feel like doing. Pop pilates keeps you going but it’s no good to get exhausted. In the summer is nice to be outside too swimming, biking and jogging so it may be that blogilates is on vacation too. It is nice to do workout on the outside in summer in my parent’s house in countryside. Feel the wind and the sun and the nature around you 🙂

          6. I totally agree! I run outdoors and love the cloudy windy days where it’s just a date between the road, my running shoes, and I. And the smell before the rain is lovely!

I do hate summer though, so most days of the season I hole up I doors where there’s plenty of air conditioning. I don’t know how you personally deal with the heat!

    2. NiCation says:

I totally agree. It’s weird for every other student sitting behind me to see butt and leg pictures!

    3. Tara says:

      Same!!

  149. Serife says:

    Hi Cassey,
I love the May calendar! This is going to be my fifth month working out with you and I am very excited. I don’t take down these calendars at the end of the month and I have four of them on my wall because they are always ever so beautiful. Content-wise, I can’t even describe how amazing to have a clear action plan. It’s one less excuse for not working out.
Thank you again for inspiring me everyday.
    Love,

    1. Phoenix says:

Have you seen results during the five months? Does it work for you? I always start the calendars but I’ve never finished one (lack of motivation related to image issues) but I would like to know how has it been for you!

      1. Serife says:

        Hey Phoenix,
I definetely recommend following blogilates calendar. I can say that the biggest change for me was on my mood. I didn’t have extra weight or anything when I started but my abs & thighs are more defined now.
I also had a couple of unsuccessful attempts earlier but once I passed the first week mark, I started to actually looking forward to my workout. The trick that worked for me was Seinfeld’s “Don’t break the chain” technique. Basically, you check out everyday on your calendar and if you skip even one day, you have to start from zero. After a while you start to guard your progress. Now, I am literally addicted because of the dopamine effect and I feel down when I don’t have the chance to workout.
Try it, you have nothing to lose if it doesn’t work.
        Love,

    2. Kimmi says:

I LOVE the idea of leaving them on the wall! I was just about to take last month’s down, saw your comment and decided to leave it up as a visual image of my progress. There’s a big gap at the end of last month from where I was ill, and this will inspire me to push harder for May. So thank you 🙂

      1. Serife says:

        Hi Kimmi,
I leave them up exactly for the same reason ! It helps me to see my progress and the colorful designs are a big help too.

  150. Katherine Moon says:

Well…. now when you say “do this 4 more times” I guess I have to. 😂 I usually love your regular calendar and doing different videos throughout the week. I also like working out for a bit longer than 30 minutes (I know, I’m crazy). But I guess this will allow me to have more energy for my runs and bonus workouts I have already been doing. Wait… am I allowed to do extra workouts alongside this?

    1. Chi Yan says:

hahahaha same there gurl, I guess we all have to comply when Cassey says “do this 4 more times” 😅 I’ve never actually repeated a video 4 times before

  151. Anna Sole says:

Love this new format of the calendar, it’s nice for a change! 🙂

  152. Nelli says:

Hi Cassey! I have two dance classes every week – one on Thursdays and one on Fridays. Is it possible to fit these two workouts to this May calendar? Looking forward to trying this ❤❤

  153. Emily says:

Well, I think this new calendar will help me come back to poppilates, thank you Cassey!! <3

  154. Kiara Harris says:

Love this new calendar thank you blogliates, now I don’t have any excuse. Can’t wait to kicks may butt, and mine. Lol so excited for this, this is way easier.

    1. Let me know how it goes! I won’t be following this calender because I generally find her workouts too easy, but I’d love to follow your journey and other POPster’s journeys and be your cheerleaders!

  155. Mary says:

I don’t really like this calendar. I prefer when the wo vids are not different and you have to do the same thing for 40 min. :/

    1. Mary says:

I mean when you don’t have to do the same thing.

  156. Jillian Casey says:

I like the other calendar! It feels more exciting to do multiple videos instead of doing one multiple times

    1. aleyns says:

      you are so right
