Hey POPsters!!!

This Feb, it’s all about feeling FABULOUS about yourself, so that’s why we’re using the hashtag #FEELFABFEB every time you complete or do the workouts this month!

You’ll notice that you have homework too! (Uh-oh!) No, do not worry, it is all a good and FUN thing! I just want you to send me your dream mail postcard! I really want you to be conscious of your goals and to make them happen!! One way to do that is to write them down and express it to the universe. This is your chance. BE WHO YOU WANNA BE. DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO. This is your life and your time!!

As far as the workouts, you will do 1 cardio to warm up your muscles and to get your heart rate up. Then a series of targeted muscle group videos. Then I want you to end with cardio again. It’s like a sweat sandwich.

    I’ve been a fan of your workouts ever since “Abs All Night!”, and I started doing one video a day. During February, I went on a vacation and didn’t work out. At all. For the entire month.       You’re probably retaining water. You should stay hydrated. If you drink caffeinated drinks, sodas and even salty/greasy foods, you should triple your water intake.

    I found your videos on youtube and have been meandering through them from the start. I have to say, I’m shocked by how much I struggle. I knew I wouldn’t be able to breeze through it, but I didn’t think I was this out of shape! I’ve had 3 kids and am up to 156lbs. This is the heaviest I’ve been in my entire life. There were many, many days I didn’t get out of my pajamas because I would get so upset trying to get dressed. It seriously ended in tears. Well, thanks to you I don’t mope about it anymore. I just signed up for the newsletter and the February calendar is now the background on my desktop. I can’t wait to get started so I can send in my before and after pictures! <3

    I recently found blogilates on youtube and only two days ago started to actually do one and it killed!! It was a muffin top meltdown and even today I am still sore! I hate to admit but I havent worked out in 4 years and I’ve never really eaten healthy. About two weeks ago I started eating healthier, not full blown clean but I’m slowly getting there! Working out is another story because I simply don’t like to. But your videos make it look so easy! And that is my motivation/goal to be able to workout and make it look as effortless as you do! For once I am excited to work out (:

    Just found out about Blogilates and the Feb calendar and started yesterday! I was only able to do 3 of the videos. All the cardio ones I couldn’t do because I live on the 3rd floor in my apt complex hahaha. Might have to do them at the gym. But love the ab workouts, Cassey! You’re amazing :o) Now I just need to eat clean and not give into tempation aka sweets!

    I absolutely must say THANK YOU FOR EXISTING! The hubby, wee ones and I moved about six months ago. We left the sunny shores of Miami Beach and headed to Cleveland!! WOO HOO! (seriously, we love it here!) There has been one MAJOR set back, however, pilates hasn’t quite made its way up here yet! There is a studio about 25 minutes from our suburban paradise but its not quite what I am used to! I stumbled onto this blog via Pinterest and have been watching the videos for a few weeks. They are wonderful! I cannot wait for this snow to melt and do one of your workouts outside in the grass, the silence and amongst the trees! In the meantime your workouts fit nicely with a view from a snowy window

    Are we supposed to do every workout on each day, or just what adds up to an hour? For example tomorrow’s list contains the Cray Cray workout, which says repeat 4x for a 1 hour workout… are we suppoesd to only do it once?

      Yep, you just do every workout for that day once. The ‘repeat four times’ thing is for if you’re not following the plan, but just want to do an hour-long workout.

    I”m new to this, but LOVE it. For the cardio, do we just do it once, like 5 min, because a lot of the videos say to do them 3 or 4 times!? Are we supposed to do it multiple times as well as everything else on the calender?

      No, all you have to do is follow the calendar unless she says otherwise. her workouts on the calendars are based on 1 hour workouts each.

Cassey I sincerely thank you for your positive attitude that helps to motivate us during our workouts. I love your bright and bubbly personality and really helped me during those tough and extremely difficult workouts. I am not one that is very active and I slacked off a lot in my workouts. Even though I said I will try to get abs by the end of February it is very tough especially for someone that is rarely active. I want to stay motivated and so since February is my birthday month I am going to give it my all from today until the end of this year. I will try hard and probably sweat a river, lol. But thank you and btw My birthday is on February 8. 🙂

      Also I think you should do a stationary bike work out print out (like you do for the treadmill). I use the bike a bit and am not creative enough to think of a good way to really get more out of a bike work out. (If you already have a bike one posted sorry for not knowing that!)

    I find that my right leg is not a strong as is my left and I have a lot of weight in my thigh its hard to hold that right leg to do some of the exercises .I still continue to try. the thing that’s a little confusing to me is how to gauge actual time of work outs and calories burned .I use myfittnesspal.com

    Thank for making these workout calendars and always having a motivating, positive spirit! It really helps me get me off the couch and give my best efforts when I’m doing your videos.

    I have a question. On your FAQ’s, you wrote that “cardio will help melt the fat covering your muscles” but then you said to try Pilates 3X a week with a quick cardio blast. Cardio burns fat and strength helps us tone up and helps our muscles show. My question is, as wonderful as this month’s workout calendar is, it looks like the bulk of it is strength since we’re focusing on major muscle groups each day so should we use last month’s “Cardio Crazy” days EVERY day and then do this month’s “Abs & Core”, ” Butt & Legs” , and “Arms & Back days” 3-4 times per week?

    These workouts are great but sometimes I get discouraged because I’m so out of shape and feel like I have too much fat around my core to do some of these moves to the fullest. So I don’t feel like I actually did anything…In my head, I know I gotta keep doing them to see results and progress though!

      Hey Elly! Don’t get discouraged, everyone has to start somewhere and if we all was in good shape no one would need these sort of videos. I am also in the same mindset as I am overweight, with most of my blubber in my midsection, and its difficult to do a lot of the moves but I continue on knowing that I will be fit and healthier as my body moves. Good Luck, I am sure your doing great!

      Keep going! I feel the same way sometimes but then one time I heard Cassey talking about pairing the workouts with clean eating cause her workouts build muscle but we gotta do cardio and clean eating to get rid of the fat covering those beautiful, toned abs! Go get it, girl!!

      You can definitely split them! Do whatever you need to to get a good workout in. If it means taking a break or doing some in the morning, some in the afternoon, you should do that! Doesn’t really matter as long as you’re working out to your full potential.

      Personally, I can never keep up with 50+ minutes of exercise 6 days a week so I’m doing a modified version of the calendar, which is about 20-30 minutes a day. I plan on working up from there. So excited for FeelFabFeb! 🙂
