Dance Cardio is the Best + New POP Pilates DVD at Target!
Wow! The first week of #JanYOUary is already through? CRAZINESS! And you’ve all been doing sooooo well. I’ve seen all your posts with your 30 Day Flat Abs printout and your latest workout calendar! I am a proud POPster momma!
Also guess what!!?? Did you hear the news!?? I’ve been waiting to tell you guys this and now I finally can! My new DVD “POP Pilates: Flat Abs Fast!” made it into Target!! AHHHH!! (I’m dying.)
This really is an achievement for us all. There would be no Blogilates without you. So congrats to all of us! I was so excited that I decided to celebrate by sitting in a shopping cart while doing a photoshoot. There were random customers looking at me. But whatever. Who cares right!!?? Live your life and don’t be afraid to be bold. Or weird 😀
The DVD is exclusively at Target right now and features 3 workouts:
1. Hard Core
2. Muffintop Melter
3. Lower Belly Blast
I hope you like it guys! It’s filmed on the beach and showcases some of my best POP Pilates tummy toning moves. Yay!! And thank you always for your support guys. Thank you thank you so much.
Now…let’s talk about cardio.
Today I present to you a cardio dance routine. Honestly guys, I am not a cardio type. I would much rather weight lift or do Pilates than do cardio. It’s just how I am. But the one thing that gets me as excited as doing Ballerina Twists, Earthquakes, and Candlestick Dippers is DANCING.
Dancing is such an amazing release of energy for me and it makes me feel soooooo happy! I love moving with music (that’s why POP Pilates is designed the way it is). I sweat a ton when I dance, about as much as when I do burpees. But guess what! I don’t loathe dance. But you better bet I loathe burpees. So to me, dancing is a cardio godsend. I am so happy that I can get my sweat on, go HARD, and still have loads of fun. I can do it for an hour straight. But get me on a treadmill for an hour? Oooohhh. No thanks.
So today I want you to give cardio dance a try. It’s really going to be so much fun! I choreographed a very simple but sassy routine for you to “BODYPOP“! (Yay, finally! I’ve been meaning to do this since summer.) So you don’t have to be a professional dancer to do this. I’m not. I just love it!
When you practice it and finally get it down, try to do this dance 3x through back to back with a 30 sec to 1 min break in between. When you feel confident, just play the song (get “BODYPOP” on iTunes) and do it without me! You’re going to have a blast!
And if any of you feel brave…please upload a video of you dancing to BODYPOP! It would make my day!! I would love it!!
Ok well gotta go now! Love you and have an amazing start to your week!
