Blogilates App is #1 Free Health & Fitness App in iTunes!

Hey POPsters!!

It’s Labor Day Weekend!!!! Woohooo! What are you going to do with your extra day off? I think I’m going to try to do an outdoor sport like jet-skiing this weekend. I haven’t been in like over a year but I remember how fun and exhilarating it was. The feeling was so carefree! Heart pumping! Exciting! Cathartic! Ahhhh the speed and wind in your face as you go as fast as you can…water splashing on your legs…I can’t wait! I’ll be sure to Instagram a pic if I end up going!

Anyway, since our Blogilates App is now…

blogilates app num1

THE NUMBER ONE HEALTH AND FITNESS APP IN THE FREE CATEGORY, I thought we should celebrate! Overnight on August 28th, we got over 81,000 downloads! I couldn’t believe my eyes and did not know what to expect. I want to thank you so much for your enthusiasm for the app. I’ve been jumping up and down screaming since the day we released the app in the iTunes App store.  It’s been a long time in the making and every tweet and message I get makes my heart fly.

Just so you know, I just tested the bug about the iPhone 5 posting problem and it will be resolved in the next update next week. So if you weren’t able to post pics in the forum, just hang tight. Version 1.1 will fix everything! And to my Android peeps…I hear you! The reason why you don’t have an Android app yet is because I needed to try one version before I commit to another project. It’s a lot of time and investment for just iOS but thank goodness you love it, now I know I can go full force with Android. If you have any suggestions or ideas please lemme know in the comments!

Okie dokie! And to celebrate the success of the first ever Blogilates app, I am running a huge Labor Day Sale for everyone! Check it out! 20% off everything in the store including clearance.

Is there a bug with the app for iPhone? I’ve been using it and paid the subscription but now when I click on calendar it just asks me to pay- then says I’ve paid but won’t let me access the workouts. It says it can’t connect to iTunes- I’ve tried everything the internet says about that but wondered if there is a bug?

    1. Kaitlyn says:

The same thing has been happening to me! I‘ve subscribed for a day and now it’s saying I have to subscribe again then it says I have but it can’t connect to iTunes store

  2. iandroidlove says:

I started researching meal replacement or weight loss shakes several weeks ago

  3. Kris says:

I just downloaded the blogilates app. Then saw that I had to purchase the calendar for the month. It’s half an hour later and the money has been taken out of my account and it still says I have to purchase the calendar 🙁 what

    1. Erika says:

I know!!!! It won’t let me unsubscribe and its been more than 6 months! wht the hell I need my fucking dollars

      1. Kate says:

If you click on the account settings in your monthly reminder email from iTunes you can turn off automatic renewal.

    I have just a few suggestions…
I used the app today for the first time after looking around the features. I didn’t notice a feature to edit or delete a post (crucial for those of us that are a bit pressed for time and trying to get a post in or want to replace our photo). I don’t know how Instagram works (I don’t use it) but I’d like to be able to post in the forum without having to post a photo (or at least given the option of posting a photo). Another thing, I get tons of notifications for the apps (I had 148 when I finally opened the app for the second time). I’d like to have the option of using or not using my Facebook information (such as name and photo) some people (such as me) are completely comfortable with our names attached to our pictures (especially just starting out). An age based forum would be great. I haven’t seen many (if any at all) in my age range.

I love having the videos and the checklist, but the forum definitely needs some privacy settings and options. After finding out (after posting) that I can’t delete or edit, I’m not too keen on posting anything else until this is improved.

  6. Jessica says:

I downloaded the app and I have to 99cents a month! just to access the calander and the videos. The app may be free to download but to access videos it’s 12 bucks a year. Cheaper then a gym membership not so much for someone who can’t afford 12 dollars a year. Wish the whole thing was free and cost to download and buy your videos in the iTunes store. :/ not so sure this will work for me.

  7. Jena says:

So by reading the posts here I was able to FINALLY get the app to stop acting funny with the whole Facebook upload on your behalf business. Now that I am “able” to upload photos it doesn’t work. I clicked on the select button… It does nothing. I click on the snapshot button…. It does nothing!! I can’t even take a selfie because the button to reverse the camera does not work. Is anyone else having this trouble, if so how did you fix it. I have had this app since sept 1 and I have not been able to access it’s full options. If I can’t remedy this, I think I am going to have to delete the app. 🙁

  8. Sara says:

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S 3….is there an app for this smartphone? I follow you from Italy 🙂

  9. Cordelia says:

Will the app also be available for Android?

  10. Celeste says:

Okay I still can’t post anything this sucks and yes I have tried on setting page and nothing. I think it’s for 4s and 5 only.

  11. Rachel says:

I hope it is on Android soon… But Cassey you work awesomely hard an I don’t want to pressure u or anything<3

    1. Rachel says:

      PS love the cover

  12. Caitlin says:

    Hey Cassey,

I’m loving the new blogilates app and I just had an idea that I wanted to share with you. It would be great if in the calendar tab there was a way to add additional workouts that we did on top of the ones recommended by you. For example, after I did the two vids for Monday I went for a run and it would be cool if we had the option to add that info in.

    Thanks for everything!
    – Caitlin

    1. Jo says:

I totally agree! I’m working on the begineers calendar atm and it’d be awesome if I could tick days off on that too!

      1. Marcelle Williams says:

Yes Please come up with a way to add the Beginners Cal. Because that’s what i’ll be starting with soon!

  13. Anngie says:

Is anyone else unable to view the sweat ember calendar? I enter the password a million times and it didn’t work 🙁

  14. Rosy says:

I really did like the app! It’s amazinnng ♥ The thing is I don’t know how to check in the calendar the workout I’ve done. Anybody?

  15. A fitness app like this one is a good way to keep up with fitness even while on the go.

  16. Kerstyn says:

Is anyone else unable to post to the app? When I try to post a pic, or like, or comment, it tells me to “Allow Facebook to post on my behalf,” but no matter how many times I click OK, nothing changes. I’ve played with all the settings, deleted and redownloaded the app, but there seems to be no solution. Any advice?

    1. Grisel says:

I’m actually having the same issue right now. It does the same thing your talking about and it drives me nuts because I really want to use the app like it’s intended too. It won’t let me comment, post pics, click on work outs, NOTHING. I’ve tried turning on and off my phone, re-downloading/deleting the app and it still not working. 🙁

    2. Tamar says:

Girls – this has been happening to everyone, but there is a solution. go to the general settings on your iphone, and enter settings for facebook. make sure blogilates is switched to “on”, and then find the account under your name and delete it! dont worry this wont delete your account or your facebook app and nothing will go wrong.
then you’ll be able to use the blogilates app! enjoy 🙂

      1. Kerstyn says:

It worked! Thank you so much!

  17. Julia says:

Hi Cassey! The App is amazing and I love how dedicated you are. I have one suggestion: It would be great, if the beginner’s calendar was shown like the monthly calendar. Like, you have the days and you get to the workouts right by tapping on the days, well really just like the monthly calendar. 🙂
That would be good, especially for people who found you randomly via the iTunes store and might be beginners. 🙂
    Yours, Julia

    1. Marcelle says:

And I am that beginner. I hope she does!

  18. Terry Shaw says:

This is really great! I’m really curious how the app looks like. I’m using an Android smartphone and I will wait for the time that it will become available. Thanks for sharing! 😀

  19. Sabrina says:

Oh noooo I missed the black gym bag.. 🙁 Cassey will be there new colors for fall? Or a black bag in store sometime again? Really hope so.. 🙂 🙂

  20. Rivkah says:

Is there a way to post on the app without including a picture?

  21. Stephani says:

Cassey! I know you know us ANdroid users want your app, so I won’t say it. I will say I don’t have an iPhone and have no way of knowing what your app is like, but I am already IN LOVE with it. I can’t wait – and the day I get it I’ll probably fan-girl scream. Thinking about your app just motivates me even more! Love you!

  22. Delilah says:

I’m looking forward to the Android app being released. I can’t wait to join the hype! 🙂

  23. Sadikshya says:

I just loved the app. Thank you Cassey.
Suggestions: if there is a way to get notifications for the comments/likes we get on our post, that would be great to keep following. Also, if there was a way to search for people or posts, it would save a lot of time. We have to keep scrolling up or down to look for things we missed or need. I wonder if I don’t know about those features if they are already there. Pardon me if that’s the case. If not, it would just make life with blogilates so much more easier! We love you Cassey <3

    1. Beth says:

The app is amazing and will be a huge help! Thank you so much!

One suggestion: Under the Videos section: it would be very helpful to have a plain old search bar so that we could just find a video without having to look under which series it belonged to or which muscle group it is focusing on. The calendar does not have the full name so for those not purchasing the .99 cent add-on it can be a bit tricky to find a specific video.

  24. Daniela says:

    Make app version Android, PLEASE!!!!

  25. Julia says:

Number 3 in Germany! You have a strong fanbase here aswell!
It would be great to have the possibility to add workouts or notes to the calender if you do something on Top!
Your App. makes it ways easier to workout everywhere and anytime cause we all have our phones with us, don’t we?!

    1. Julia says:

Oh oh I got another idea…
Maybe you could add a weight tracking Tool with the possibility to upload pictures. I loved your advice some month ago to take a pic at the beginning of the month and at the end to see the how your Body changed.
Would be great to have it in your App. – Blogilates style!!!

  26. Ariel says:

    @ Charlotte

I do understand what you’re saying, but I do not think there should be an age limit. I am 13 years old and I treat my body with great respect. I don’t count my caloric intake; I eat when I’m hungry. I don’t care about thigh gaps; I love my body the way it is. Not all 12-14 year olds care about how much calories they should be eating or thigh gaps. I care about filling my body with healthy fuel, treating my body correctly, and appreciating my amazing body that God designed. Cassey, please do not make an age limit for girls who know that you don’t need to count calories or strive to have a thigh gap.

  27. Salma says:

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR APP CASSEY!
It truly is a dream come true, so thank you so much <3

I wanted to ask you if you can include a section with your gym prints! Its easier to take the phone to the gym and just tick them off.
    Just a suggestion 🙂

  28. Charlotte says:

Honestly, I think there should be an age limit on this! I see many 12-14 year olds posting about how many calories they should eat to lose weight and what exercises they should do to get a thigh gap and its really scary! this is a great app but there should be an age limit to avoid promoting unhealthy behavior for young girls

    1. Kai says:

Being a 14 year old girl myself I completely disagree with this. Blogilates is a way for a young person to exercise in a way that is healthy and fun! Without Blogilates, I wouldn’t have been introduced to clean eating with is what I am doing and is not only great for health but for sleeping better and lowering stress which teens have because of school. I really enjoy doing the calenders and have found that my body feels better because of them. People only ever hear about the bad things and not the good which there is more of. I do understand your point but some older women worry about calories and thigh gaps as well. Closing off one thing to young people won’t have much of an affect as the rest of the internet is still there, and the young people who use Blogilates the right way will be affected just because of a handful of people.

      1. Vanessa says:

I am 16 years old and I love Blogilates too. Thanks to Cassey I found a healthy lifestyle and I am so happy with it and I feel me much better since I know Blogilates 😀

I hate it, that all this adults think if we want to lose weight we become immediately anorexic :/
The most of us dont want to be sick. Just happy with our appearance. So whats wrong whit it to do something for our body and our health? When they understand that?!

      2. Julia says:

This is such a great and wise comment. 🙂 I see the first poster’s point, though – maybe we, the other users, should make an effort to comment back to those girls and tell them, that they don’t need to have a thigh gap and they need to eat enough.

  29. Bailey says:

    HELP!!!!
I am so excited about the app, however every time I try to comment or do anything a banner comes up that says “Facebook would like to post publicly on your behalf”. I always say ok and then it doesn’t let me comment or like anything. I went into settings and made sure that I was getting notifications from the app and that the facebook setting was on for the app but still nothing. I want to use the app on my 4S but can’t!! 🙁

  30. Tralana says:

I love the app so far Cassey! But is there a way to see if things you’ve commented on? The feed gets pushed down all the time and I can never go back to something I’ve asked a question on. Thanks!

  31. Bethany says:

Hey, Cassey! I understand that you have a lot on your hands as it is trying to make the app available for android users, but when you’re finished with that could you please see if you can also make it available on the Google play store for tablet users? Thanks xoxox

  32. i’ve got it and its fantastic i want to buy the full version so i can plan these holidays that still remains me before work to get fit and workout! is it possible to make it compatible with iPad also? <3<3<3

  33. Laurel says:

Just bought the train insane booty shorts! Wanted the Blogilates ones but no small sizes left! Excited for them to arrive all the way here in London- could take a while but it will be worth the wait!

Android version of the app please too. Pretty please?!

    Laurel 🙂

  34. Aurelia says:

    love the app!!!
i have a new idea: you can add the beginners calender to the app, so new POPsters can use the app, too!!! and maybe it´s free, so everybody who is new can try the beginners calender, and buy the monthly calender later, if they like to work out with you!!!

  35. Jas says:

The app is amazing! Would be good to have the beginners calendar on there too! 🙂 Ooooh a SALE – excited 😀

  36. Krisztina says:

    Hey Cassey,
Do you think the app will be available on Android phones also?

PS. thank you for everything you have done, your workouts are great and you have a lovely personality 🙂

    regards
    Krisztina

    1. Krisztina says:

I havejust found the answer myself – haha

  37. Steffi says:

It’s just the best app ever. I have all you’re video’s in one click away and training with you is now better. Also i love al the recipes!!
But one thing i would like are the pop hiit routines in the app that you can also check them off! It’s easier when going to the gym!

  38. Charlotte says:

Hi Cassey, when android is available if you have both an ios app and an android app will you be able to track progress across both or will you have to pay twice for the calendar and update both yourself? I will be using the iphone version to follow the calendar but would love an android version for my phone to follow the popstergram and my progress.

  39. Samantha says:

I thought I was losing it because I don’t see the September calendar and I never received the passcode yet in a newsletter, but I realize others who use the printable version too have been waiting!

  40. Elena says:

Is it possible to have Beginners’ calendar in the app as well?

    1. Charlotte says:

      This would be great!

  41. The app is awesome, but I can’t wait for 1.1 so I can post and comment! I still love it though – thanks for putting so much effort and hours into this! 🙂

  42. Jennifer says:

Love the app!! 20% off is such a good motivation!! Just finishing buying a couple of items from the website!! Can’t wait to get them!

  43. jay says:

    still waiting for the calendar?

  44. Tess says:

I love the app!! It’s definitely the best app I’ve ever downloaded (and I’ve downloaded a lot of apps!) 😀 Thank you so much for putting time into helping us Cassey!! You’re the best!

  45. Stephanie Murphy says:

I adore the app! I have already made new friends in my area in the Meet and Greet forum! Thank you for rocking and working so hard core for your POPsters! We love you!!!!!

  46. Nikki says:

    Hi Cassey,
Are you going to post a printable calendar too? Or am I missing it? I have been signed up for the newsletter for a while now, but I couldn’t find a password for the calendar. I can’t pay for the calendar on the app right now, I know it’s just a dollar but it’s a little tight right now 🙂 I love the app by the way!! Thanks! Nikki

  47. Viviana says:

Yay Android! I just hope it doesn’t take too long…Tone It Up started with iphone and they still don’t have an android app even after a year 🙁

  48. Moriah says:

    Hey Cassey,

Firstly, thank you so so much for your app. Not only does it make working out so much more accessible (no excuses….) but its so encouraging having the community there focused on getting fit and eager to encourage and share the experience and struggles with you each step if the way. 🙂

Speaking of encouragement, is there a way to view your past posts and the responses to these? If there is, I have obviously missed that, if not i highly suggest developing a means to do so! People post good advice and encouragement that may be specific to your situation, and it’s nice to know you can go back a view what they’ve written to remind yourself. 🙂

  49. Ashley says:

Honestly, this is the greatest creation of all time. Better than any tumblr, website, app, video, or anything that I’ve ever seen. I love how interactive it is and how everyone can post! It’s too good to be true! Why is it free??? I feel guilty for not contributing to all the work that went into it!! It is just soooooooo good, Cassey!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

  50. Bassantpopster says:

Can’t wait for the update. And I hoped to be a winner this time but at least Cassey liked and read my photo. Thanq Cassey.

  51. Tams says:

Don’t forget iPad with retina display version! That would be perfect! And thanks for everything you do and all of your humor… You are awesome!

  52. Shannon says:

So- this must be for Apple and not Android. I can’t find it at least. bummer 🙁

    1. Kaitlyn says:

she addressed that in the post.. “And to my Android peeps…I hear you! The reason why you don’t have an Android app yet is because I needed to try one version before I commit to another project.”
