    I think this is amazing!! Casey has helped me so much!! I’ve Ben with her and the other POPsters for a while now!! And I just wanted to say to some people who have the app as well as I do… If you don’t want to subscribe and pay 99cents per month you can come to the website and screenshot the calendars the go look back @ the screenshot. And I have a question. When you subscribe on the app is there any way to cancel it and stop paying bc if so I won’t subscribe and I will just come to the web

    I personally LOVE this month’s calendar because it has two days of total body workout – which I think it’s a really good thing! I adore the total body series’ day! It’s so fun and effective!
    And in my opinion it’s better to start with a cardio video everyday instead of doing just a cardio day (because it’s exhausting and after one or two videos I’m completely destroyed!)
    So I hope that Cassey will keep this “calendar-scheme” for the next months!
    THANK YOU SO MUCH CASSEY! You are always my inspiration even if we are really distant… I live in Italy 🙂

    I’m just very new to this and I don’t really understand the calendars. I’m on the beginner 2.0 calendar right now and it’s very simple to just go online, click on the day I am on, and have the list of videos laid out for me. But I am not so sure about the monthly calendars, do i really have to search one video at a time or is it like the 2.0 calendar? I just don’t know how to use the monthly calendars, can someone please explain that for me?

      The monthly calendars do require you to search up all the videos one by one, but it’s fairly easy because they’re usually the first result on YouTube (plus it gives you a few more seconds of recovery time during your workout!) You could also make it part of your nightly routine to open tabs of all the next day’s videos so you can just click from one tab to another.

      You normally find a playlist for each day. Just go on her youtube channel and take a look at the playlists. 🙂

      If you download the blogilates app it brings u right to the workouts for each day, even has a cute little checklist for when you get one done. And it’s only $0.99 a month!

      I started out looking up each video at first, but if you look at her youtube blogilates page, under playlists, she puts playlists up for each day. The playlist has all the videos for that day and you can play them all. Hope this helps

    Cassey, I love all of your videos 🙂 I joined about a year ago and am still struggling with finding time (i know oldest excuse in the book) with working two jobs. I’ve figured out i can fit in several 5-10 min workouts in throughout my day. Is it ok to split the workout up into the smaller increments or is it better to do all the workouts at one time?

    I love blogilates so much and follow the calendar religiously. I also have the app and love it too, but I seem to be having a problem with it that I can’t fix. I downloaded the app on the 17th of the month and so the subscirption thing doesn’t seem to work. I can see all the videos up until the 17th thenI can’t see the rest of the month. The start of the next month it seems to work fine again. I have tried to find somewhere I can ask about this but there doesnt seem to be anywhere? It’s really starting to annoy me can someone help? PLEASE.

    This April Calendar is great! 🙂 I still have few wishes for Cassey <3

    I would like to know what are the best moves to lose inner thigh fat and cellulite. Think my body looks now really good when I have keep doing these work out calendars a few months but my inner thighs still look the same and they aren't get any firmer. Specially not the inner thighs although the other body parts keep changing and get more power. My legs and butt muscles haven't so much power so what could I do with it? 🙂

    The second wish is to know what could be Cassey's 5 best moves to get deep lower abs to get stronger? I have many reasons why I should get stronger lower abs, the deep abs which you can't see in eyes. (Sorry if I don't know the right word).

Cassie got me there once before these calenders even existed. So with her as my personal trainer now, I feel more confident than ever! here we go! DAY 1 WORKOUT ONE!     I have a question…Some daily workout combinations from the calender are too hard for me, but beginner calendar is too easy. Also, I don’t really have much time for workout (styding comes first :D). So..how to combine workout videos to be effective and quick?

        sometimes when things get too difficult for me I would slow down (but not stop) the workout or I would adjust it like going on my knees and getting the modified version. As for studying taking breaks is important so use that for a video or two and it’ll help you drink water and sleep better so that your mind can remember things for the tests!

      What I would suggest is doing just a few videos (2-3) from the regular calendars or taking breaks during each video and doing them as best as you can (or doing the beginner’s variations if offered) if you want to do all 5.

      Hey Nene 🙂

      I would do as many april calendar videos as I can (or have time for), maybe 2 or 3. They are more intense than beginners’ videos, so you need less time to get the same amount of workout. But if you do have time sometime, then you can try doing another one to see, if you have gotten string enough to do more.

    Hi POPSTERS 😀 I recently just started this workout calendar thing and I skipped the beginner’s calendar lololol but whatever im already almost half way in Aprilates just bring it on. Anyway, I realise than most of the daily workout consist of more body strengthening workout than cardio (only about 10min+). I wonder if that is actually enough? I thought we need a balance of cardio and body strengthening workout? Im actually trying to lose 20 pounds within 2 months or less if possible. So I hope you guys can enlighten me a little. Maybe some tips and advice? Thanks!

      Incorporate your own cardio into the mix. The guide is heavy on strength training but you can always add in your own things on top of it or lighten the load and swap cardio in for some days. It doesn’t have to be extreme. Even just going for a half hour walk daily on top of the calendar will show you the results you want

      You’re supposed to balance cardio and body strengthening when you’re going for an overall fit body. Some athletes do purely cardio and some do purely strength training. Remember though, if you want super functional and strong muscles, you don’t do a lot of cardio simply because large muscles need fat. If you look at strongmen, they don’t have tight ripply muscles. You’re probably not going for that kind of look though and most likely want to add some cardio. Sadly, wrestling season is over and lemme tell you, you lose a lot of weight during the season. There are a lot of options though. Insanity is a good one if you can find the videos online. Or you might want to try yoga, jogging, dance, or swimming. As long as you don’t stop moving, slowing down if you need to, and eat healthy aka not starving yourself, you might not reach your goal of 20 lbs, but there will be a noticeable difference.

      Its completely normal to loose weight vary fast at the beginning and then slow down. But that doesn’t mean that the exercises aren’t working, just keep working and try to be constant

        Not sure if this is true, but you lose a lot of fat in the first weeks (weight loss) but as you continue, you gain muscle which weighs more than fat, probably why you aren’t losing much weight anymore

      You can try to fill up on a nice fresh salad and a broth based soup before you make your way around the buffet. Try to pick out dishes with lots of veggies, and have small portions of your absolute favorite guilty pleasures. Also remember that it is only one meal! If it is for a special occasion, and you have been eating clean and training mean all week it is okay to have a spurge meal. Even Cassey does it! 🙂

    Hi popsters!
    So I kind of have a problem: when I do lunge kicks, if I try to completely extend my left leg when up, the back of my knee starts hurting. The sensation is a bit weird, it’s like when you pull on a string a bit too hard, you know?
    So yeah I just wanted to know if I should be careful or something?

      Maybe it’s because your legs are not used to it. Maybe, do a little warm-up before doing the exercises, or try to do some stretches.
      I dance, like a lot and a month ago or so I got a pulled muscle because I didn’t stretch before dancing. Now, I stretch every day before dancing and now it hasn’t happened again :), the only injuries I’ve had from dancing are minor bruises that has been from the choreo, but not another muscle pulled, yay!

        There are a few exercises that make my wrists hurt so I just don’t do them. The shoulder bridges make my knee feel weird so I just do the regular ones. It isn’t worth hurting your knee.

    Hey cassey and the popsters,
    I workout at the morning but i feel out of energy really fast due to working out on an empty stomach. So please recommend me some quick pre workout snack. Also your workouts are kind of difficult but really effective 😀

      Hey!
      A quick easy and healthy snack is to eat some crackers like graham crackers because they are well needed sugar in them to get you through the workouts of the day with little to no pausing for need to recuperate because you feel like you’ll have to stop completely because you haven’t eaten before hand.
      Another great snack is to eat some bread with lunch meat (no mayo or anything but you can add that if you like. I stick to bread and lunch meat personally.)
      You could also eat some apple slices with some peanut butter (if you are that sort of person, I am so this option is great for me.)
      You can have some celery and hummus to dip them in too! (I’ve never tried that but I will soon in the future!)
      You could also eat a small salad if you really are conscious about eating a really healthy snack. (I don’t know if I’d ever try this…well I made my own unique salad for breakfast once and it was delicious but it didn’t hold me up until lunch I had to eat sooner than I’d normally would to eat lunch but maybe a salad is a good pick because it’s a small snack to get you through the workout alone. You can eat breakfast right after the workout’s done if you are real hungry.)
      You could also eat so nuts (walnuts, peanuts, almonds, etc. I’ve never really like walnuts kinda or is it almonds…. I don’t know but yeah I don’t mind eating them tho.)
      Well those are some suggestions you can try sometimes to eat before you workout for the day. Btw you can always look up some great before workout (light) snacks on youtube, google, and so forth.)
      GOOD LUCK FELLOW POPSTER AND WORK HARD!
      I also recommend you wait at least 15 minutes after you’ve eaten to let your body convert all the food into well need glucose (and/or ATP) to boost your energy for the workout. You shouldn’t eat and go into a workout right away (I don’t think anything BAD would happen but you could throw up if you are bouncing around during the workout (which we’d often do for most Popilates workouts)). So yeah those are some suggestions, but everything is ALL up to you.

      Hi! It’s okay if you start on the day you found it. Provided you can go through with the planned routine. otherwise you can start from day 1.. it’s really up to you 🙂

      You can start on that day since it doesn’t really matter how soon you start but the results can come faster if you do the workouts at the start of the month, but really you can start on any day at any time. Enjoy the workouts! They are intense but WELL worth the pain (which you’ll love always).

    hey guys i feel like my knee pads are making everything too easy on my thighs and legs in general…for some reason i cant really feel the burpees or anything else, like i get sweaty and out of breath because of the movments, but i never feel “the burn” and im never sore the day after… but i dont wanna take them off because my knees are gonna hurt real bad and i wont do my workouts…any advice? please?

      Hey Annie!!
      Well it sounds like you are in great physical shape (when it comes to not feeling any soreness because usually you’d get sore or at least a little if you are doing a new workout move OR you haven’t done a series of workouts in a way you haven’t before done,… I hope that makes sense.) You don’t really need to feel the burn, and I don’t think that you’d get a burn doing the burpees for example because you pretty much getting your heart rate up and pumping and working your total body out in that one move. I really can’t give you any other advice but to push yourself a little bit harder (BUT NOT TOO HARD!) and see if you can feel the burn then (BUT it must be the good kind, not the BAD kind k.)
      I know I wasn’t MUCH help but honestly that was the best I got. I hope it helps a little at least.

      I keep once a week as a cheat day or maybe two-three meals in a week are cheat meals.

      Whatever I avoid like rice, potatoes, dessert maybe so I feel motivated to work harder next day.:)
      There is a 80:20 rule to eating clean and cheat meals. You can read about it.

    Hey Cassey and all the other POPsters!
    I had a break of 2 weeks, as my gf came over (distance is quite huge) und so I wanted to spend the whooole time with her.
    Well, now I tried out following the workouts of today and had to do so many breaks and yet feel soooo exhausted! Also couldn’t do all the exercises.
    Well, besides I finished week 3 of the beginners 2.0 and left out week 4 before my break of 2 weeks. So maybe it’s a really hard challenge for me to workout 60 minutes instead of 30 to 40 and also the workouts are harder I think? (At least the constellation of aaall the workouts)
    So what do you recommend? Should I still try my best following this calendar and pushing myself through it (even though I feel so weak?) or should I get back to the beginners and maybe stark with week 2 or even start completely anew to get ready? I personally don’t know and hope, you all can help!

      I usually do them all together, but I’m sure it’s fine to do them whenever! If I’m struggling I just take a 5 minute break in between some of the videos 🙂

    Hi everyone. I have terrible pain anytime I put pressure on my knee. Not as bad as before but still bad (but yes improvements!!). Tried with a mat & on the carpet. Please Cassey & popsters are there any variations to moves that put pressure on the knees or anything else to cushion my knees. Thanks!!!

    Hi 🙂 Is it ok if every month I do 2-3 days break? I’m not able to exercise during period, I only can do simple yoga sequences and walk during that time, intensive exercises feel too uncomfortable.       It’s great you are keeping active by walking & yoga. Instead of skipping those days on the calendar, how about doing the Friday relax workouts on those three days + what your doing? Do the next three Fridays in a row. Replace those Friday workouts with the days switched. I’m sorry if it doesn’t make sense but I would be happy to explain a bit better if needed. Hope it helps.

But keep at it, the more persistent you are the more comfortable it will be 🙂 Plus you always want to be a little difficult, that’s what makes it challenging and fun!       In order to have the calendar to follow along on the app, you do have to pay a subscription fee. You do not need to do that if you don’t want to.
      I think of it as a convenience thing. Instead of paying to have the calendar on your phone, you can print out the big calendar and then just search YouTube for the name of the video listed on the calendar. 🙂
      That way you don’t have to pay. Hope that helped you! If you do decide to get it for your phone please know that it will automatically renew each month unless you turn that off. 🙂

      *I got the beginners calendar for my phone awhile back and it is still in the app because I purchased it. So once you buy a month, you can always see it on your phone. It’s kind of fun because you can electronically check off the box and she has a little encouraging note that pops up for you!

      It’s the same for me as well! It’s only .99 cents USD and you only pay once a month for it but you get access to all the videos on the calendar, plus the special workout video for that month!

      The calendars are all of a similar format so they might not seem that different to you. But Cassey tries to vary the workouts from month to month and is always coming up with new videos. The new monthly challenges should help with bringing the level of challenge up. But you could also add more workouts if you feel you’re not getting enough from the calendars. Or go for a run before or after, use heavier hand weights, ankle weights, etc. Get creative 🙂

        I agree 🙂 She does say in quite a few of her videos, that if you want a more intense workout, you should use ankle weight or heavier dumbbells or whatever weights you can think of (soup cans, books, a melon). And if that still isn’t enough you can browse her youtube channel. She has sorted her vidoes by the bodyparts they are ment for, so if it’s an ab day, you can choose an extra video from the ab section 🙂

I mean, I always exercise in front of my TV, I feel it’s more convenient to see your videos through a big screen rather through my laptop.       If you have Chromecast you can connect your phone/ipad/computer with your tv screen and watch them there! That’s what I do 🙂

      there are products like Google Chromecast or the Amazon FireTV stick that can sync up videos from your phone or tablet or laptop to your TV. it’s not something Cassey does, it’s just an extra thing. it works really well too 🙂 but Chromecast is more oriented for Youtube videos and Amazon FireTV has more variety

    and here we go again, challenging my body and beating my weaker self on Wednesdays to get some good butt workout done! Yay! 😀 the calender looks so amazing!
    Last few days were filled with YOLO (birthday party with tiramisu on Sunday and before that I had my cheat meal on Saturday because I didn’t know that I had to attend this family party) and I felt really really bad about it yesterday, also because we had no fruits home and I didn’t went shopping cause of a harsh storm outside (I came home from my boyfriend in the morning soaking wet from cold rain and wind). luckily we had salad!!!
    Thank you Cassey also for the wonderful arm challenge this month. I will do my best to do stay strong 🙂
