Here is your new April 2016 Workout Calendar!

This month is going to be exciting for a couple reasons…

  • It’s the anniversary of Hot Body Year Round! WHATTTTT!!!! I cannot believe it’s been a year since the book tour. And guess what? Now the book comes in 3 languages! English, French and German! So crazy! Thank you guys for your support….from all around the world!

    SO Pumped Just signed up! Really wish that you could click on the calendar and it would be a link to take you right to the you tube video. IE: you click on “6 minutes to a sexy body” on april 28th and BAM you are then watching the video. Just throwing it out there:) Can’t wait to get started:)

    I am new and I do not know how to use the calendar. How do you use it?

      The dates and days on the calendar they have workouts and you do all of them on the day and and that’s how you use them basically you repeat them until Cassey comes out with another calander (you dont have to do it)

    Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone has tried tone it up and blogilates and could give me some advice. I don’t know whether to follow the blogilates calendar or do the tone it up bikini series? Any thoughts welcome. Also, I am under some time constraints and don’t have a lot of time to work out every day, I’m planning on trying to squeeze it into my routine so I’m wondering which is less time consuming but also which yields better results?

    Hey guys

    I’m so new to this. So I’m planning to do the may calendar but how is it done? Do I do 1 set of each video for that day? I’m not sure how long each video is but is it like more than 30 mins of workout each day? Thanks for answering

      You do all the video workouts that she has listed for each day once, unless it specifically says to do the video twice (which it sometimes will for PIIT workouts). If it says to do it twice it is only for that one video not all of them. The time varies, I would say usually it is around 25-45 minutes (it also depends on if you watch the entire video because sometimes she talks in the video for a couple minutes when not doing the workout).

      Honestly you can do what you wanna do. I don’t do all the videos. I skip the cardio ones because I do my own cardio before pilates. Then I usually choose ~20 minutes worth of exercise (cutting out the bits where she talks) which is usually 2-3 of the remaining videos. If I’m really feeling it then I’ll do all of them minus the cardio ones though. I also don’t do “recovery day” or “sweatfest day”. I just take those ones as break days over the weekend where I’m more likely to be physically active anyway.

    I just finished the beginner calendar and am looking to start the monthly, but I can’t figure out where to get the videos…For the beginner each day had a link to the videos from the calendar, how does this work for the monthly calendars? I have the password and can see the calendar, just can’t figure out where to get videos…thanks!

    The last calendar I received in my email was February.. same as some of the others I’ve seen so far in the comments. I tried to resubscribe but after re-verifying my email. I have been waiting for the april password and it’s still yet to arrive. Just wondering if there’s any technical issues going on..

    Hi Cassey, I stopped receiving your emails and calendars for some reason. The last one I got was February. I havent done poppilates for some time because I had a baby in January and havent downloaded the calendars for a while. Could that be a reason? Do I need to sign up again? I’d like to start pilates again to get back in the shape 🙂 Thank you.

    So I did the beginners calendar 2.0 but I didn’t workout for about a month after that due to lack of time. Should I do the beginners calendar again or just do the April calendar?

      try a week or two from the normal calender and if you struggle too much go back to the last two weeks from the beginners one

      when you sign up on the first page she sends an email with a confirmation link and when you click on it it says you will get an email with the workout password within a hour from now (the time you confirm your email password )

    Hi Cassey (or anybody), I recently bought your book and cannot wait to try it. However, I am confused about the way the workouts are laid out. At the beginning of the book you have a weekly schedule (Monday: 4 abs/core workouts and 20 minutes of cardio, Tuesday: 4 leg workouts and 1 slim-down workout). In the actual seasons of the book, though, you have the moves grouped into Workout(s) 1-5. When I begin using this book, should I be choosing individual moves based on what they target and, for instance, only doing four moves on Mondays, or should I be doing 4 full workouts of various moves out of the 5 offered for that season?

      It doesn’t matter! Back to back might save time and leave you more tired, but you’ll be getting the same benefits regardless! In fact, spacing it out will keep your metabolism firing all day long! (Though it could be a bit more time consuming)

      You can do this in either photoshop or word, its super simple, just google how to do it. You can probably easily do this with the editing tools in any photo viewing program (like ‘Photos’ or ‘iPhoto’ for Mac) too

    so whenever cassey comes out with the monthly calendar, there’s always a weekly “new vid” on youtube, but the calendar never says what that new video is. does that mean you check cassey’s youtube for a video that has come out on the same day as the calendar day? for ex, would today’s April 11th “new vid” be cassey’s quick burn obliques video that came out a few hours ago?

      I’m not sure if I’m answering your question or not but everyday, Cassey make a new playlist on her youtube channel. The playlist will be named after the date of the workout day. In the playlist, all of the videos to watch and follow for the day are added… Hope this helped! 🙂

      Hey, you only do it once because there’s a new one every month. So you just do what’s written for each day. I usually do a bit of stretches before the workout but that’s it because the videos start slowly before getting harder on each day

    Hi. I’m kind of new to this whole thing. I have a question. Can I follow the monthly calendar even though I’m only a beginner or do I have to follow first the beginner’s calendar? And if I follow the Beginner’s calendar, how many months do I have to repeat it before I can go on to the monthly calendars? Thanks a lot! 🙂

      Hey! I have been doing pilates for nearly 3 years now and if i reflect back, i would have NEVER completed the monthly calenders without doing the beginner. The beginner calender is your month to get all the forms down and that’s really important to be able to develop strength and also, if you don’t know the basics, doing the real calender will be very disencouraging. Casseys calender is no joke so i recommend doing the beginner even for at least 2 weeks! Xoxo

      hey mara, when i first started doing cassey’s videos i was also a beginner, and following the beginner 2.0 calendar really helped prepare me for her regular monthly calendar workouts. i think i followed it for a month or two before continuing on to the regular workouts.

    I have a question for the 4/9 workout on Saturday. For the “Snowbunny Blast” workout, do I do it 4 times if I am following the calendar? Love the workout and I love seeing the change of my body. Not only just the shape but also the stronger stamina.

    Hi, I’m 13 years old. I’ve done excercises since a month. But I’ve found, that I get on weight! I was 60kg, and now I’m 66! I don’t know what’s going on 🙁 My height is 165cm. HELP!

      Hey.Don’t worry about the weight.Take me as an example.In semptember 2015 I weighted 65 kg and was 162 cm tall.Now I’m all that but my waist and my hips are smaller for 3 cm.Weight is not that important if you’re gaining it with the right lifestyle.(if you want to see my progress here is my instagram myjourneywithblogilates1)

      You could be gaining muscle, and you’re probably growing taller too! Try not to pay attention to the number on the scale, just measure your progress by the way you look and feel, and how your clothes fit. You’re a healthy weight so I wouldn’t stress about it 🙂

    Am I the only one gaing weight since start blogilates´s exercises?
    I mean, when I started the begginers I gain weight, in the end I was losing and went back to my “normal” weight, although I still felt fatter than before
    I started the normal calender and bum, my weigh is increasing again, I have never been so heavy in my intire life, my diet didn’t change, I only add the blogilates on my normal routine
    can someone answer if is that normal because I am freaking out here…

      You are now burning all the fat and have starting turning all that fat into muscle which is heavier than fat. This does not mean that you’re unhealthy. Sometimes the physical benefits are not obvious, it just means that you’re fitter now than you were before.

      Hi! I depends on the mood. Sometimes i do it at once in the morning when i feel so energitic; but, sometimes i spread it out for all day.
      Besides doing Blogilates, i also do Darebee, Toneitup, and some tabata of beFit…
      It all depends on the mood.

    Hello Guys!!!
    I’m on my 2nd day and 2nd round of the beginners calendar.Now im also adding 2 more videos of the April calendar to my daily workout. I want to thank cassi for the awesome work she does making the video challenging and fun. On March 7 I did my first video and man it was hard. First day I weight in at 290.2lbs. Following the calendar religiously and doing a 15 min cardio at work (desk job always sitting) this help me lose 10lbs( so thrilled).As of today im 280.4lbs. This is just making me look forward for tomorrow’s workout. I have changed my eating habits by adding more vegetables and more snacks. I eat what I like but in small portions. Guys stay true and never give up. My goal is 80lbs by the of this year. Wish me luck!!

      Hi Paula! If you visit : the videos for each day are posted in a little group.
      Sometimes I skip ahead/do a different day so I just search for the name of the videos on youtube itself.

I understand it takes time, also inam going to college so I hardly have time to do anything else and I am tight on money so any affordable food you gals suggest let me know. Thanks ladies!

      Hello! I just wanted to share my results from Pop Pilates. I worked out lar year and that time was my best result. However, there was more toning and loss of inches than weight loss. I suggest you keep at it and just try to cut out sugar and eating out. That’s what I did. Hope that helps a little (I’m also in college and totally understand is super hard)

        rather be happy with the inches I loose and how I can fit back into my
        old jeans. How long did you do the calendars until you saw the inches
        come off? And when you eat do you just follow Cassey’s recipes or do you
        have any good recipes that you do?

      POP Pilates isn’t really for weight loss, I have being doing this for about 6 months and have noticed toning and inches loss only, if you want to lose weight definitely need to add more cardio to your workouts. I am not in college anymore but I definitely understand the not having lots of money and time etc. Try to cut back on sugars processed foods etc. and incorporate more veggies and fruits. Its what I have been doing to aid in weight loss since I can’t afford PIIT28 at this time. I wish you the best of luck!

    I am new to this blog and the videos and I love them. One thing I am confused about though – the videos are usually 10-15 minutes long. Should I be pairing them together? For the calendar are you supposed to be a couple of the videos to do together or how does that work? Thanks!

      If you’re following the calendar, yes, do every video Cassey has listed for the day… the entire workouts usually take around 45 minutes to 1 hour… if you’re not following the calendar, just do as many videos as you feel like!

      That video is only in the app, if you go to videos section there will be a folder called “exclusive videos (in app only)” and the video should be at the bottom of that list.

          Hi Erika! I know, I didn’t have a partner for that one either! You can just do the moves that you can w/out a partner with that video or switch it out for another workout. It’s up to you! And on the tricep trifecta, I think you have to buy it for like $0.99 in the Blogilates app. If you want to though, you can switch it out for another arm toning workout. Hope this helps! 🙂

    These calendars are always amazing! The only possible critique I could give is that the calendar is a weird shape or size so it is super annoying to print. It’s not a big thing but it be great if future calendars could fit a regular A4 page!

I love your site so much & really appreciate everything you do! 🙂 I started the beginner calendar, but I feel encouraged & want to take it up a notch by moving into the normal calendar.     I just did today’s workouts. In two videos cassey said you should it repeat two or three times. The calender says nothing about repeating the vids. I’m confused now. 😀 May anybody help?

      Unless otherwise stated in the calendar, you don’t need to repeat them 🙂

      Hey Nikki! 🙂
      In the videos, Cassey often says “If this is your only workout of the day, then repeat it four times”. If you’re following the calendar, there is no need to do so. However, the other day with the PIIT leg workout, you should do it twice to work out both sides. But even there, Cassey announced it in the video to do it twice if you’re following the calendar.
      So unless Cassey says otherwise in the video, you don’t have to repeat anything. 🙂

I only wish that the videos listed in the calendar were linked below by day like in the Beginner calendar. It made them easier to access.

    Hi Cassey, I am new to blogilates (this is my 3rd calendar) and I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for the motivation to work, work, work!! (I love Rihanna 😉 ) I am a mother of 2 beautiful children and I unfortunately have had 2 caesareans and after my last son I was quite a bit overweight. Needless to say though, I found you on youtube and have been able to almost come back down to my normal weight! I have lost 20 pounds and I still have 10 more to go. I am not ashamed of my body anymore and I feel confident in my own skin which makes a HUGE difference 🙂 I just wanted to let you know that you put a smile on this girl’s face and I think it’s amazing what you are doing!     Hey! The last calendar I followed was December’s (before the PIIT workouts). Just curious, for April 2nd, when it says “Leg Slimming Workout // PIIT (repeat 2x)” does that mean 3x total or just 2? I’m sure the extra round really makes a difference.

    Hi, can I suggest you something? The calendar looks very good, but it’s not so good when printed (it uses up a lot of ink!).
    Could you please make a ‘lighter’ version of the calendar so we can print it? I was thinking about something like the 30 days challenges 🙂

      Hey girl! Making a different calendar may be difficult for Cassie, but have you tried printing under the “fast draft” setting on your computer? It automatically uses half the ink. You could also try to mess around with the exposure, shadows, and hilights, and apply filters to the image so it’s brighter/lighter.

    I have never been able to complete a calendar before either because I started hurting too much or got lazy or had too much schoolwork or too little motivation. This month I am going to complete this calendar. I want to give myself this gift and prove to myself that my body can be strong despite the almost constantly aching back and knees, despite the daily headaches and the fatigue I feel on almost daily basis. I will work through it! This time, I can do this!

      If your body hurts so much, in so many places of your body, why not looking for what’s wrong ? your body shouldn’t be in such pains, you could see a doctor : maybe you have bad body postures what you are not aware for instance, and you could easily be better !

    Hi, so I finished the beginners calender 2.0. After that I took a break for about 1 month. Now I want to begin the april calender, but I didn’t do any workouts in the past month. Do I need to restart the beginners calender or can I just do the april one?

    If I follow this everyday, reduce my calorie intake, will I be able to lose weight? I read above that someone said this doesn’t burn a lot of calories. I just need to burn at least 200-250 a day. Could this do that?

      Hey girl! when I first started pop Pilates I would do the beginner and the calendars/advanced workouts. just do what you can and if you need to modify it then modify it. just don’t strain yourself if you are not ready! if you feel like you can do it though, I would! 🙂 hope this helps

    Is it just me or do I get a party vibe looking at this calendar??? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT ✨? Is it possible to do cardio everyday and workout with this? Or am I gonna take too long to lose weight?

      You’re better off doing cardio alongside it, pop pilates is great for sculpting your body but for losing weight not so much as it doesn’t burn many calories. Cardio = burning calories = more weight lost.

      But you don’t need to do cardio everyday, 4-5 times per week is enough. And of course not forgetting the importance of a good diet 🙂

      Actually 4-5 days a week isn’t necessary for cardio. Unless you feel like that’s what you enjoy or need. 3 days a week is good. And no cardio isn’t the only thing that burns calories, strength training also burns a ton of calories believe it or not. Interval training is really good too for burning calories even after you’re done working out. Just remember that rest is just as important as working out so don’t overkill yourself!
