8 Things Only Girls Who Wear Activewear Will Understand

Hey guys!

I love clothes. That’s why I design them! Activewear to be precise!

But, sometimes clothing and working out just don’t cooperate. And I’ll admit – even though I probably should know much more than the average person when it comes to the fashion of fitness, I STILL have embarrassing debacles like any other girl 😛

So time to get super honest as we get to know each other a little better 🙂 How many of these situations have you found yourself in!??

#1. GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE YOUR WORKOUT. I REPEAT: BEFORE.

#2. Not sure what’s worse, but I’ve committed both crimes.

#3. Ok but if I size up I have no support…. HELP!!!

#4. I will make all of my pants high-waisted… YOU CAN’T STOP ME!!!

#5. FACTS. Thankfully I have a solution.

#6. How do all shorts becomes booty shorts as soon as you start running?

#7. HIGH WAIST LIFE IS THE BEST LIFE!!!!!

#8. Hey… at least it’s keeping with the whole 80s/90s fashion coming back 😅

Well, there you have it…my activewear struggles. All of these events have happened to me, which is I choose to invest in good quality sports bras and leggings now. Admittedly, I didn’t want to at first (ya know, trying save some money here and there) but in the end, the see through butts and the saggy crotches taught me NEVER AGAIN.

I do appreciate the bad experiences though, because without them, I would not know how to design POPFLEX in a smart (and beautiful) way.

Here’s me wearing the highness legging and the serenity bra.

What are your biggest struggles with your gym clothes?!?

I loved the blog as it’s funny & at the same time, it is informative. Whether we are in the pool or in the gym it certainly becomes a need that at times we need to go to the washroom & so the outfit needs to be supportive and comfortable. Very interesting blog please keep posting

So true and so relatable. Only girls can understand the problems we go through wearing activewear. Just kept laughing. Awesome article… !!!

  4. Sam says:

Very true! This made me laugh! I wear the sports bras and leggings from Climawear.com, just now so I don’t face these problems as much but before them I used random ones. It happened quite frequently.

  5. Sarah says:

This is so true! lol and I really loved the comics they’re so cool. Happy workout! 🙂

Wearing cute, lighter coloured leggings and then sweating so much that it looks like I peed myself 🙁

You’re hilarious like I giggled with delight through this whole thing. I’m 5’10” with long legs and floppy bum bum, and I don’t wear shorts in public so I don’t get arrested for indecent exposure. Like you mentioned, my shorts were fine when I started my run, next thing I knew I was cheeking lol. I’m a huge fan and never thought I’d be taking some of these things to heart (ie.considering juice cleanse).

Wearing my nice supportive sports bra, but dealing with armpit bulge. Also, I just had a baby, so my legging irritate my belly. So I roll them down, leaving my mom pooch hanging like a muffin top.

Unfortunately, the POPFlex sports bras I’ve gotten have been ideal examples of the Sports Bra Struggles pics. But I figure they’re just not meant for me and my body. Honestly, I think I’ve only ever had one brand that seemed to be close to perfect for me. Meh, whatever. Every body is different and I love that you try so hard. <3

Haha! I feel the see-thru leggings dilemma…. yikes.

All of the instances are sooo damn true🙄🙄😞…

    Did you make the drawings?

I struggle to find a sports bra that both fits my D-cup girls and has the support I need for rigorous activity. And when I do find one, I can never afford it or it’s in some garish neon color.

    😂

I would love to see high waisted leggings on short people. The models are so tall! Cassey, you are a bit on the short side, right? Will the legging length be the same?

    1. blogilates says:

I am 5’5″. Not sure if you consider that short or medium!

      1. Virginia says:

I’m 5’6” and in Italy I’m considered a tall woman 🤪 so I don’t think you’re on the shortie side

  16. Jessica says:

I wish you do Plus size activewear. It hard to find cute plus activewear.

    1. blogilates says:

We have some styles that go up to 16! Always working on more!

  17. Tammy says:

I am a size 14 and I hate tights! I am also tall. I would LOVE to see workout pants that are not skin tight that also are long! This would make me so happy lol. And ditto to Anna’s comment about pullover bras. Those just don’t work.

  18. Anna says:

I look exclusively for not pullover bras now. Once you get past a D cup the pull on/off struggle gets exponentially worse!
