The skin on my elbows always hurt so much when I do planks of hip dips… I really can’t do these without crying in pain. Does anyone have tips for me?

I couldn’t with this workout. I barely felt it in my obliques or abs during the hip dips. My neck hurt, and I don’t think that’s normal. I hope it’ll be better the next time I do this… 🙁

Maybe it’s cause I’m doing this after arms & shoulders day yesterday, but man, these side planks/hip dips moves were close to impossible for me. My shoulders kept giving out :O

My sister and I are doing the Feb 2017 workout calendar together. My sister has been telling me for months to do blogilates with her. I have been lifting weights for 5 years and really enjoyed it, so it was difficult for me to agree to trying blogilates workouts. Two week ago I decided to try them out because our Gold’s Gym didn’t open on time, and I gave up waiting on them after 40 min. I came home and thought, I really want to get a great arm workout in and remembered blogilates. I tried the Arm workout and I was hooked.
I am now two weeks in and LOVING the workouts. I skipped yesterday’s arm work out for a rest day ( didn’t take one during the week). I decided this morning to combine arms & oblique days. During the video’s changing, I guess I had this new one set up. OH MY ABS! I made it through the arm day routine, plus the additional cardio video for obliques, the first oblique video and then this one came on……. I’m granting myself some grace because at this point I had already been working out for about 80 min. I could NOT finish this routine. I think I floundered around on mat the entire time, and my pugs even came over to start loving on me because they realized before I did that I was out of energy.
Thank you Cassie for your website and wonderful videos and WORKOUT CALENDARS. Even though I have enjoyed body building and lifting for the past 5 years, it can get old. I was in a place where exercise had become an idol in my life and I felt God nudging me to stop. I believe he brought this as an alternative to me. I am also considering cancelling my membership to Gold’s and just enjoying the freedom and fun your workouts bring. I was concerned at first that I might lose my quad sweep & traps but honestly – I’m ready for fitness to have a lesser role in my life and be FUN again while keeping my body healthy and happy.
