Blogilates is YouTube’s NEXT TRAINER!
…And so that’s the big news! I found out last Friday and I think that’s when I went crazy on facebook and told you guys I had a secret but couldn’t tell you til Wednesday! If I did, YouTube said they would kill me. Def didn’t think it was worth dying.
I am very excited to be named one of YouTube’s next up and coming faces of fitness! So what does this actually mean? Well I had to enter my Blogilates YouTube Channel into a competition against other fitness channels all over the world. Then YouTube judges selected 16 winners. I was one of them! Oh and so was Bex! Yay!! Remember the workout we did together a month ago?
YouTube is giving me $15,000 worth of video equipment and promotion to help me make a “real career” out of making YouTube videos. OMG. That is a lot of mojo! They will also get industry professionals like Billy Blanks, creator of Tae Bo, to help coach us young fitness lads. SO COOL.
So remember when I said that this secret would benefit you too? Well guess what POPsters!!!! The only outcome I could EVER hope to come out of this experience would be to grow the Blogilates community more and more…to help you guys make friendships with each other and connect through our strong bonds…and to make more fitness and cooking videos for you to learn from. I’m not being cheesy, I’m being real.
When I was coming up with something to say in my Bio vid for Next Trainer, I wrote something about our community and it made me cry. Yea, it was weird. And although I’ve always been attached to you guys, I now know that I truly love and care about each and every one of you. That’s why I take your comments so personally. I see you as my students and friends. The particular thing I wanted to say was cut out in the actual vid you see up there…but just imagine me in the red shirt at the end going on for another 30 sec or so about how you guys have molded me into a better instructor and how much I want to meet you all one day.
So to add on to this whole community thing – I honestly believe that a ton of you are seeing results from the 90 Day Challenge because of the supportive network we have grown together. You guys are inspiring, motivating, and seriously, soooo nice. Your enthusiasm on facebook is ridiculous! I read your comments first thing when I wake up every morning and it makes me smile. My hope through YouTube Next Trainer is to get more POPsters on board and have more classes for you guys. One day my ULTIMATE DREAM is to have a crazy world wide POP Pilates meet up and teach every single one of you in person. I want my Ambassadors and POPstars up front and center leading the moves with me. Oh man…guys, I hope one day we can make this happen.
You should be expecting higher quality vids from me now…haha yay. And more frequent vids!!! For the next 12 weeks, YouTube Next Trainer will be putting all of us through a filming/editing course and mentorship program with top fitness professionals.

Umm, oh yeah and our facebook page was named one of Shape.com’s Top 10 Inspirationl Fitness Facebook Fanpages to follow! Woot woot! It’s all YOU GUYS! I was also shooting pics of my new oGorgeous yoga bags and gym bags ALL day yesterday…I am so busy-crazy-tired-dying-white hairs growing-excited-not sleeping, I don’t know what to do with myself.

Just wanted to drop a note to say ‘thanks so much’ for your pop pilates workouts on youtube. I’m an American, but have been living in Brazil for the past 4 months. Gyms are insanely expensive here, are are yoga and pilates classes. I resorted to the internet, so I could keep my sanity by working out on a regular basis.
I stumbled on your videos, when doing another youtube pilates course.
I’ve tried several of your workouts and love them all. They are challenging, and I can’t wait to explore even more.

I took a peak of some of the other channels, because I tought, maybe I will find another great trainer or videos, but sadly, no one like you. I visit you blog everyday first to pick one of your amazings workouts, and then I try to do some yoga. You workouts are hard and inspirational, I have been doing pilates for about seven years, but I can tell you that after three children and almost 42 years old, I have the best body ever. Thanks for your entusiams, and congrats for this recognitions, you really deserve it.
