My 5 Best Ab Exercises + Crazy News!
I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging as much. Last week was so intense because I was filming and traveling all over the place last minute! I was filming several Cooking Clean with Quest episodes (can’t wait to show you the new recipes) and look who stopped by!

OooOOooOo Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwiches…shaped like peanuts! Aww so cute. Super high in protein, low in net carbs, and ultra delish.
Oh! And Mr. Brett Hoebel! We had so much fun shooting!
Anyway, after a long day of filming, I finished around 7pm, then went home to pack like a mad woman, then I ran to LAX and hopped on my red eye flight to NYC! Why!? Because…if you heard the news…I was asked to be on Dr. Oz to show him how to do POP Pilates!!! OMG!!! Can you say life dream accomplished!?? After several hours of tossing and turning on the plane, I finally arrived in the city in the morning only to head straight to ABC studios! It was so insane. All I wanted was to not have dark circles and to not randomly pass out in my dressing room. Thank goodness my excitement fueled me through rehearsals and the actual recording!
I want to thank my POPsters who came out to be on the show with me! You guys added so much life to the workout. I will let you know when the episode airs so we can all scream and die together. It was so amazing!! I am so glad you guys are always here to experience these once-in-a-lifetime things with me.
So anyway…after the recording, it was like 6pm and I was hungry, tired, and in need of some comfort. I knew exactly where I had to go. It was about 1 year ago during the NYC Meetup that I discovered this placed called Cocoron in NYC that had THE BEST hot soba soup I’ve ever tasted…and I’ve been waiting 1 year to come back and have it again 🙂 So here’s a peek at what I ordered this time…simply to die for. It was the perfect way to end my day.
Flew back the following day and couldn’t even sleep on the plane ride back. I was still too excited. I watched so many movies that my brain turned into fluff. If you watch the 5 Best Ab Exercises video I just uploaded, you may be surprised (or appalled) at what I thought of a probably well-loved movie! (Sorry in advance.)
I arrived late at night then woke up the next day for another full day shoot with Quest for my cooking show. And I don’t need to go into too much detail because I will be sharing the recipes soon…but I do need to show you my hair:
Can we take a moment to say OMG to that? That is one of the most beautiful hairstyles that has ever been performed on my head. I am in love. Thanks to Guy Tang for the ombre and my new friend Amber for braiding!
Yup so that was Friday! And then the weekend couldn’t come soon enough. I was so ready to take a huge weekend slumber sesh but then my best friend from college surprised me with a visit! HAHA! The fun never stops. But very fortunate to have friends nonetheless 🙂
So anyway, it’s Monday now and I don’t think you’d be surprised to find that I randomly crashed on the couch for 40 min because I couldn’t handle being awake any longer! Remember to sleep guys! The 3 components for a healthy, happy, and fit life are:
1. Clean Eating
I still need to work on #3! It’s important to be aware of your strengths and weaknesses so that you can work on being better every day…better than you were yesterday. That is the key to growth. And trust me, you want to always be growing. It’s the process of progression and of life.

All the videos on there are for rent or subscription kinda like a netflix for fitness. There are many options out there for getting your information and your instruction, so do your research, see what you like, what you can afford, find what suits you and keeps you coming back, and keep doing it! That will be the workout that will tone and sculpt you the fastest and most effectively.
