Oh jeez I love animated GIFS! Hahahaha they make me laugh bc it looks so ridic! I want you to try the 1000 Workout and let me know how long it takes you to complete it! Grab a friend and race! Now go burn dem calories! You can also get the printable here and take it with you to the gym!

Just watched the whole DVD today and cannot wait for you to see it! I’m so dying!!! Today I am doing a mini merchant fair thingy at my gym and my parents will be showcasing the oGorgeous bags plus Blogilates clothes alongside some other local businesses at ClubSport Fremont. If any of you wanna stop by and say hey girl hey, I’ll be there from 5:30-8:30pm!

2012 is nearly ending but we’re gonna end with a HUGE BANG! I have a surprise for ya. If everything goes as planned, each and every one of us POPsters will get a nice gift this holiday. I can’t tell you much more. But just pay attention to the weird questions I ask you on twitter and FB.

    My first time doing this routine and it took me 25 minutes. My arms are jelly after the tricep dips and then holding my form for the hover Jacks!! gonna burn so good tomorrow!

    I have a question: When doing the high knees, do we have to move our backs all the way back like in the GIF above, or not?

      Probably not 🙂 You can do high knees with a straight back and without leaning back.

          It actually isn’t a huge deal if her toes are moving- it just proves that her squat is being pushed through her heels- like it should be.

        10X10=100 😛 A fun way to break up the exercise if you find the sheer amount of it intimidating/ get bored easily like me.

    Ahhhhh my friend and I started Operation: Sexypants to get me in shape and get me confidence before school starts. We started July 2nd and I already can feel my muscle building and I notice a big difference. It took my about 32 minutes.

    I chose a special approach; To start up, I only did #1. Then next day, 1 and 2. So on. Dying.
    I love that its in gifs, because I have no idea how to do the exercise if it’s just a picture and I haven’t heard of it.

      Hey! I started doing this everyday since last week, (improving my time slowly 🙂 ), and I think it just depends on you. I like the feeling I get whenever I finish it. Just listen to what your body tells you and you can do it slowly.. just don’t quit!

    Took me forever, but I took a lot of breaks, and did it in sets. I also had to skip the tricep dip due to a wrist injury, but I am going to keep practicing and try to improve my time!! HRM reads 473 Kcals burned!!

    Took me about 35 minutes, but I had a 4 year old “helper” with me! He insisted on sitting on me when I was doing the half cobra pushups and the bridge pulses.

    Okay, I’m just starting out. I’m doing a 90 days pilates challenge and am only on the first week. I decided to start slow so I took this down to a “500 challenge”. It took me about 35 minutes. I look forward to getting that time down and the reps up!!

    Oh my days! I’ve been meaning to do some of your workout videos for ages and I thought I would just go for it with the 1000 workout. I am so shattered – it took 25 minutes with a few breaks towards the end – I felt like I was going to throw up! Maybe one day i will be able to do it without stopping – that can be my goal for now!

    wow this workout is intense! im working muscles i never knew i had my legs are killing me! This is only the second time i’ve done 100 squats + the rest + a few of ur other workouts before this! this is coming from a 12 year old. love your workouts and this is how i measured how long its taking: pop danthology all the way through + half a pitbull album almost done! zzzZzzz…..

    Is my third day today doing this workout and i love it.
    Is so nice.but so tiring on the same way.
    Cassey,please reply,if i do this 1000 workout for three months,every day,am i going to loose any weight?
    I have under active thyroid as well and is so hard for me to loose weight,but as long as i am on tablets,i think this workout it may work.

      Sorry, when you mean under active thyroid, you mean hypothyroidism?
      If so, your doctor should have prescribed synthroid to you, and you should not have weight problems secondary to your thyroid anymore, once your thyroid blood tests come back to normal 😉

      I don’t know if she’ll have the time to reply, so i’ll write this : working out like that will build muscles, which weight way more than fat. Therefore you might see it physically, being more toned, but might not see it in numbers. To lose weight you need to do cardio AND eat clean (drink lots of water, healthier choices, cut sugars and coke and blablabla)

    35 minutes! cobra pushups were hardest for me, but such a sweatfest! also i feel really unstable doing walking lunges, so i switched out for 50 lunge pulses per leg 🙂

    I wanted to request a video idea…

    I love how you have made a ton of videos focusing on each body part. However, I feel there are not many videos that cover biceps. Your new VS Model and Bikini Arms video DO cover the biceps BEAUTIFULLY… however, it would be nice to have a video covering the biceps… whether a short challenge or a 10 min video. Many of your arm videos cover the triceps and to be honest… my triceps are dead! lol

    If you needed ideas for a video, perhaps this can help. Or even a video using the stretch bands!

    did it yesterday! 22 mins! so proud!. the squats and lunges killed me, so I did 50 of them back to back with an exercise (e.g. 50 squats, 100 crunches, then 50 squats again). I hope that still counts! I really love your workouts and especially your eating advice. I so love bread, and its so hard for me not to eat one in a day! Your workouts help me get back on track!

    Showed this to some Hmong over in St. Paul, the Gran Torino story is a real one, Detroit gave them a tax break to film it there but it’s really about the Twin Cities and I tell all the people here about Blogilates.     Wow! This took me about a good 35 minutes to complete but its just what the POPsters ordered! I love love love your workouts girlie! I share them with all of my health coaching clients (a.k.a. my Blissful Chicks!).

  84. As someone who’s a bit of a guru when it comes to theoretical “best practices” in concerns to working out, I totally support this 1000 work out idea. Those exercises are BOSS for both men and women, if you did that 4 times a week you’d see some results within a month. Skipping rope will probably be the hardest for most people (jump rope is a beast).

    That said, I’d like to offer a criticism I hope you’ll take constructively.

    The crunches should have variations to foster better results. I’m not a fanboy of P90x but P90 has an ab workout that I would suggest be done in place of the 100 traditional crunches suggested in this post.

    20 reps of 10 different ab exercises; yes I realize that’s 200 b why NOT make it “The 1100 Workout”? 🙂

    19.23! I was stoked because the first 3 times I didn’t time it… but expected it was about half an hour. Then the first time I DID time it, after having yours there to achieve it was 21.25 so I’m chuffed I knocked 2 minutes off! I’m going to do it again tonight… wonder if I can cut it down anymore.

    I have videos of people doing those karate/martial arts kicks like Billie Blanks, I’ve got to believe they lean back a bit when they do those. But in the high knees image, to me it looks like Cassey is doing it a bit like a dance as well. It could be a matter of flexibility. Amazingly, I see people doing those high kicks, maybe they have some background, I generally can’t.

    This is cool. One little thing though: Shaun T of Insanity says that when you’re doing high knees, you’re not supposed to lean back because that makes it easier– he says you’re supposed to engage your abs and stay perfectly vertical to avoid putting pressure on your lower back. Just a suggestion and I might be wrong since it is a .gif and maybe in the video it looks totally different.

    I love this workout. I’ve done it twice already and timed it last time…only I forgot to turn the timer off when I was sprawled on the floor trying to recover. 😛 I think it was about 23 minutes. Good, I have a goal to work toward getting it down to 18!

    I tried the workout today, couldn’t do much more than the ‘500 workout’, sadly. Had to cut nearly everything in half. Got so out of shape this summer! Your workouts motivate me to get back on track 🙂 Could you do some more ‘mini workouts’, the ones where you exercise on 1 song? Like the call me maybe squats.
