Cassey <3 i love you!! i never used to enjoy pilates very much, ive always preferred cardio and weights but your just so entertaining i can just pump out the videos!! im new to blogilates and am still trying out all the videos but what would be totally awesome is a 30 -40 min workout with pop pilates and cardio all mixed so its like the ultimate work out!! so if im not in the mood to really exercise i dont have to waste time trying to decide what videos!! i can just click and get right into it!! that would be totally epic!! xxxx

  6. Hey Cassey, I am about to start the August workout calendar and i’m not sure where to find the cardio blast workout video. It says to do 15 mins of cardio blast mon-fri, where do I find this? Katrina :-)

  7. I love love love you!!! thank you so much for the work outs these are perfect i am a single mum full time studying and i can fit these in after i put my son to bed or when i get a few moment from uni!! i can thank you enough and look forward to seeing the results in summer :)

  8. Hey Cassey,
    Is it bad if your neck gets really tired doing certain moves when it is propped up in pilates stance? I find sometimes my neck gets really tired and strained but I don’t wanna do the easier version by keeping it on the mat so I just suck it up and keep it up. Will I get a bulky neck? hahaha. I also find it is difficult to keep my shoulders off the ground? but I assume that comes with time right?

    Hey, your workouts are awsome! Every day I make 30-45 mins of cardio mixed vids (is it good that way?) And at least 30 mins of pilates. I was wondering if i would put back the layer of fat on my belly and any other places if after I get rid of it, I reduce my workout time to maybe 30-45 mins a day. I don’t want that fat back but, also, I won’t have that much time since I’m a student and in october I start school again. Thanks for your workouts!

  10. a big thanks to Cassey for dedicating her time to do awesome workouts for us! I have been working out for some time (doing those HIITs) and found myself heavier (around 4 pounds more than before!!). My clothes still fit (I’m down to half dress size) but its the scale that annoys me! anybody out there who has an idea of whats happening?

      Muscle weighs more than fat.

    • Well, if you aren’t overweight to begin with then there isn’t much weight to lose, so you could be gaining muscle (which weighs more than fat). It happens to me, during times when I don’t work out much I tend to be about 5-8 lbs lighter than the times I stick with a workout routine. Everybody’s body is different. I say go by the results you see in your body, like you said you lost half a dress size, because the scale can be rather misleading at times :)

      If you want to lower your size, count inches, not pounds (as in watch your measurements lower, not your weight, if you are gaining a lot of muscles mass)

Could you please please please do an apartment friendly cardio workout (i mean like something that doesn’t involve jumping)? :) The sweatfest one is so much fun but I think my neighbours downstairs will start complaining soon if i continue doing it… I really should do some cardio though but i don’t have access to the gym or a place to run in the city center :( Please help me!

I am an avid runner and spinner but just got a tattoo on my foot and didn’t want to put sneakers on and sweat/possibly infect it at the gym so I just did you fat melting routine in my room 5x in nothing but a sports bra and booty short and AM DRIPPING SWEAT love it Cassey thank you thank you! you rock!

  17. Cassey! One of the things I love most about your blogilates site is that I can see your progress in your videos! Your very first pop cardio videos seem super hard even for you but then, in the latest ones, you seem to fly through even the most challenging exercises without ANY rest! Wow! That gives me hope that with hard work, I can soon do the same!

    I was just wondering, should I NOT drink green tea when I am working out? I have become addicted to green tea and that is all I drink now. I was just thinking, it is water, just with a bit of sugar and the green tea in it. Is it better to drink plain water? Or am I OK? I guess the way I think of it is it is a double boost in my metabolism :) Is that wrong?

  29. OMG! I just did the POP Cardio Kick It SIX times in a row! That’s 40 min. of cardio! AAAHHH! I feel so great! I am sweating bullets here! That was so FUN! All I did was put on the radio and turned it up and went along with the video :) That was amazing! I LOVE YOU CASSEY!!!!

    I love all the workouts, but I struggle a little bit with cardio moves that involve jumping…I’d love a low impact cardio! If it exists…cam’t jump too much cause of some knee joints problems.

    • Hi! I stumbled on your blog and I srtetad the workout around the same time as you. I am also a stay at home mom, with a 6 yr old, 4 yr old and 2 yr old. I like to be able to do the workout in the morning, before getting my first grader off to school. I have followed the program exactly and am starting to feel stronger and firmer, but have not lost any weight. I guess I expected after 2 weeks that my jeans should fall off of me, because I have not worked out this hard or consistently in a long time. I was starting to get discouraged, but I am planning to hang in there. I have Cardio recovery tomorrow, but with all those squats, I don’t feel too recovered! So far, so good, though!

    • you can go to sites like mynetdiary.com or loseit.com and type in aerobics and how long you did it for. it’s more accurate because you can type in your height and weight too.

Hi, Cassey.First i wanna say that before i found your site i hated working out and now i am just loving it.I do pilates and cardio for two weeks now and i lost 2 kilos…so happy! love you love you love you.But i have 1 question: What do you think about plastic pants under my track suit? does it help in reducing a but and thigh size?   38. Loved the full body kickboxing workout! Definitely going to do that more often! Just gotta say, I “discovered” pop pilates about 3 weeks ago and have just been doing it every day since, even if its not a full hour, just so i can do something. Its been great for helping me get back into shape :P and I needed it too so thanks so much Cassey :)

    LOL ok i just watched the Kickboxing workout as a kickboxer who actually has fought and as an instructor there is good stuff in the video but you will get a WAY better workout for your core if you slow down just a hair and do better form. Kickboxing comes from the hips and the legs….your arms and shoulders are just extensions of the pivots and movements. I would love for you and your sister to come to Chicago so i could teach you and show you how to do it even better and get a really really good workout. Not saying the video is bad because its totally not any kind of cardio workout is a workout but you can really hurt a knee or shoulder or elbow if you do the moves wrong. However i love that people came over and joined you that is freaking awesome!! Please Please come to chicago i will give you and your sister a private kickboxing lesson and Becky and I can take you around and show you chicago!! Christmas shopping on the magnificent mile!

    • Hi Jackie,I am definitely eixtced to see the changes in myself and yes, I will have to post some pics soon. It’s a little hard to post pics on the internet when I am in the process I definitely am not quite looking like one of the girls on the video but what I am doing can’t be hurting right? : ) I know that you can build muscle by doing the push ups and squats etc but you are right about muscle building being more with weights and no, there is no weight training with this. However you can strengthen and tone muscle with cardio work. The muscle strengthening will also help in burning fat. I will keep you posted!

  48. can I turn this pop cardio in pop HIIT doing the exercises as faster as I can and resting for 1 or 2 min between each exercise ? And during “resting time”, should I just stop or should I do something (as light jog or other thing coz I’m not a big fan of light jog..makes me out of breath, so not really “resting exercise” for me!) ?? thx so much Cassey !
