Your 1st Workout Calendar of 2017!

Hey guys!

I’m so excited to see that so many of you are SUPER PUMPED for 2017! You enthusiasm for our #28dayreset Challenge is energizing me SOOOOOO much! I know that if you commit to the whole 28 days of the Challenge, YOU WILL see a change in your body and your energy. Because the 28 Day Reset is so much more than a regular ole diet plan, it will clean you from the inside out and help you figure out your food intolerances! So if you have issues like bloating, acne, stubborn fat, low energy etc., then this is something you will want to try for 28 days. We begin on Jan 2, 2017 and we end on Jan 29, 2017!

The #28dayreset Challenge asks you to do the following things:

  1. Omit dairy, gluten, added sugar, processed food, and alcohol for 28 days straight. No cheating. (Get Full Guidelines here)
  2. Work out 6x/week. You may do PIIT28, the Beginner’s Workout Plan, or the new January 2017 Workout calendar!

I’m just trying to make it as EASY as possible for you to find success this January 🙂  I really hope the links help you!

Oh and I also made a modern day Disney Princess video for you with the Royal Squad (aka my friends). We each dressed up as our fave princess, then I forced them to do burpees. I’m glad they didn’t ex-communicate me and that we’re still cool. Hahaha! If you’re looking for a fun vid to get you motivated and excited for 2017 (and if you really love Disney) then watch this!

Guys, enjoy your last bits of 2016. Thank you for being here for me this year. We battled, endured, achieved, and conquered. I am so grateful to have you right here with me to kick off 2017. Thank you for being you. I love you so so much! Let’s do this!!!

I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and struggling with excessive weight gain. I’m wanting to do the 28 day reset after I’m cleared but I also want to nurse my baby as long as possible. Do you have anything that works with a nursing mom?

  3. Jean Bean says:

I’m confused for January 30, it just says “New Vid!/ Blogilates” and when I clink on the linkable thing it just leads me to the blogilates youtube page…so which video am I supposed to do?

    1. KindMango says:

It’s whatever is the newest video from blogliates

  4. Imaira says:

  7. Karena says:

I just started January 1st as part of my new year resolution and I’m loving it so far!! I was wondering if the exercises are just as effective if I split them up into one or two videos at a time throughout the day sunce it’s often hard to find a consecutive hour to do the exercises. Thanks!

  8. DESPERATE says:

PLEASE HELP!!! I was so motivated for 2017 to get fit and toned, but I feel like I’ve lost all my motivation!! I really want 2017 to be the year of transformation… Please give me tips and advice to help get fit and motivated!!!

  9. Ashton says:

I really love your calendars! But I think they would be even better if you added about how many calories each day burns in total.

  10. heather R. says:

    hi cassey,

Its been awhile that i have done any of your workouts. Been hectic with a demanding boss, saying good bye to negative people and coming home and my 2 year old who wants time with her mom. its been hard but after making some adjustments, getting in a routine to wake up a lil earlier I’m ready to get back on track. I will be taking before pics and during the process of my transformation. its good to be back and ready to kick some butt.

    Sincerley ,

    Heather R.

  11. Taissa Hayden says:

I lost 10lbs so far. Love this challenge ❤️❤️❤️ Out of the 200s in the 190s so happy.

  12. Romy Fabal says:

2016 was really a rough year! I have learned so much from not putting myself first and now i am suffering from it…not too serious but I have gained weight, I have body aches and feeling tired and blah almost all the time…well NO MORE!!! 2017 is going to be MY YEAR and I decided that the #1 resolution item is self care….that is the umbrella for a whole lot of other things like eating healthy, losing weight, getting active…but I keep telling myself this because if i don’t SELF CARE, nobody is going to do this for me…Thank you for the inspiration and supportive guidelines and tips!….

  13. Tiarne says:

I love that this PDF is linkable!

  14. Taya Bregant says:

I just have a question about the 28 day reset. Are you allowed to eat like rice or wholewheat/gluten free pasta?

  15. Joanna says:

    Hi Cassey!
I have a question; I used the blogilates app and I loved it because I can post stuff in a safe environment. I used my twitter acount, but I deleted it recently and I rather not use my Facebook account to log in. Is it possible to log in with an instagram account? I have an instagram account dedicated to fitness and it would be great if I could connect it with the blogilates app 🙂

    Thanks in advance!

  16. Elena says:

  19. Mirax says:

yay i love the links so much easier please keep doing them!! If I’m still somewhat beginner should I do 3 or 4 videos a day instead? Cause the beginner calendar is too easy for me now but these calendar’s are too hard lol

    1. Katie Heywood says:

Just do as much as you can until your body tells you to stop! It’s okay if you have to take a break and it’s good to push yourself! Hope that helps x (:

  20. Esme Stone says:

woah…i really liked that the WO titles are linkable. Thanks Cassey!

  21. Riley Kornblum says:

    Happy New Year Cassey!!!

  22. kait says:

New girl here. How do we use these calendars? Some of the videos say to repeat the workout 4 times.. do I repeat 4 times or just do one rep of each item that day?

    1. Katie Heywood says:

      Just do one rep (:

  23. Abi says:

    Happy New Year Cassey!

Just recently decided to get more into fitness and i found your videos and i love them and you’re so motivating to listen to work out with! I also just signed up for the newsletter and i love the calendar and cant wait to stick to it!

  24. Neda says:

Cassey, I love your monthly calendars, but one thing just kills me once a week that really discourages me from working out. Tuesdays, for full body workouts, there is a lot of ab stuff, and I feel like many people are not as strong in their cores (especially myself), and I get much more sore in my abs than anywhere else. Then, when Wednesday Ab Day comes, I can barely move my core, much less do an entire ab routine. Can there be less core work Tuesdays? Or is this just my problem and I should just do the workouts until I’m stronger?

    1. me says:

      replace one with another video.

  25. Van says:

I LOVE YOU CASSEY. Thank you for the linkable calendar! I was getting so bored with my workouts but I’m actually excited to start working out again now :)))))

  27. Whitney says:

Super excited to start this New Year’s with nurtion. Can’t wait!!

  28. Celeste says:

Question- when it says “New Vid!”, where do you find that? I can’t find it on YouTube, which is where I normally find the videos to use for my workout.

    1. May says:

Check on her Twitter! She posted a link to the Video 🙂

  29. Tara says:

The linked PDF workout calendar is brilliant!!! will this be a regular thing? 😀

  30. Karīna says:

I’m so excited! Finally I have enough motivation to start my ‘weight loss journey’. Thanks, Cassey, for this motivation. Let’s do this!

  34. Maria Kirjonen says:

Hi! I was just wondering what I should do. I’m a student so I don’t have a lot of money and I get free food at school, but it might have some processed foods. It tends to be healthy (not like pizza or hamburgers), but yeah, I’m not sure. I’m hoping that I won’t have to use money for food that I could get for free so is it okay if I eat one meal at school? I am vegan though, so it would be dairy free.

  35. G.B says:

That is sooooo cool….you just click on the workout and it takes you straight to the vid….I love it!!! Yeayy 2017!!! ???

  36. Nina Lieberherr says:

    1. blogilates says:

I am so happy to hear that!!

  39. Elizabeth Rage says:

I’m excited for 2017 as well! Getting ready to start the first workout, hopefully I can make it through it before my dog thinks I’m playing and tries to attack me again. :p My little workout buddy.

  41. Happy New Year Cassey. May all your dreams and aspirations become a reality in 2017. Continue the great job you ate don’t. God bless you and I love you.

  42. Robyn-Lee Samuels says:

I love the new pdf calendar… looking forward to using it.

  43. Mon says:

I love this new format! Well done, it is such a time saver! Thanks for always thinking about us 🙂 On another note, I was thinking that for those of us who have purchased the 28Day Reset diet plan, that it could be incorporated into your app. You could have a link to each recipe and we could cook the meal straight away from our phones. Also, once you make and eat the meal, you could tick it off. The thing with the diet plan as it is, all the recipes in the weekly view don’t have page numbers on them…quite frustrating trying to look for them all the time. Also, all the nutritional info could be incorporated into a calorie counter, so we would know if we are on track. Just a few suggestions.

    1. Tamara says:

I agree! Hate flipping through. Esp when I first started. Meal prep is hard enough!

  44. Luci says:

Do you do every workout in the day? Or only one per day?

    1. maria says:

You do them all in 1 day.

  45. Aida Kamilia says:

The new PDF format is just superb!! ?? Loving it so much. It’s much much easier and faster rather than to have to search for the vids in YouTube all the time. Thank you so much Cassey ! ❤

  46. TGJ says:

Lol I would so be Pocahontas too, with red hair. I’m always barefoot. I don’t believe in shoes either. :p would love to know where you got your shirt, I love it. Always wanted a dress like Pocahontas’.
Thanks for the inspiration, I’m going to do the 28 day reset, the diet part at least (I already don’t consume dairy, gluten, or alcohol). I don’t know about working out 6 days a week, I just had my second baby less than 2 months ago, but I’ll make sure to do *something* 6 days a week.
Happy new year Cassey and everyone! I hope you all accomplish your goals for health and fitness this year. 🙂

  47. Cheryl says:

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for making this easy to read and more printer friendly! <3 <3 <3

  48. Anonanon says:

I started doing blogilates 3 times a week for 30min to 1 hour as a 2016 resolution and I don’t regret it! I’m usually busy with work and school so 3 days of working out has proved well for me. I wonder what kind of workout calendar or suggestions Cassey could give to better improve a 3 day workout routine.

Thanks so much for the awesome videos and motivation to keep going! 🙂

    1. Steph says:

I agree – I want to work up to the full calendar and would love a three day a week w/o one to get started with – or even just some video suggestions to maximize this…

  49. Julie FEGER FISCHER says:

Ok Ok! This video is just too funny! I watched it after today’s workout and I laughed so hard my abs are still hurting!
2017 is going to be a brand new year, full of progress, full of inspiration!
    Thank you a lot! Wish you the best;
    Xoxo,
    Ju <3

  50. Faith Brown says:

Hi I am so excited to do this the only problem for me is I am not getting the password 🙁 I have signed up for the newsletter but I have never gotten the password.

    1. Aurora Steph Aleman says:

try checking your spam folder, or for me I have to click on “all mail” tab and its there

  51. Deanna says:

I am so jealous that Justine is in this video!

  52. Avery Straumann says:

I’m so excited to do the calendar!! It will be my first one and I’m pumped!!

  53. Meagan says:

Ok, I really do not understand this fear of gluten. Cutting out gluten, unless you have celiac disease, is pointless, expensive, and could actually lead to some nutrition problems if not careful. Cutting out dairy, that absolutely makes sense. We humans are not baby cows, and milk causes far more damage than good. It actually causes osteoporosis, breast, and prostate cancers, along with lots of other problems.
Avoiding added sugars or even sugar in general is also a very good idea. Your health will absolutely benefit from it, you probably will lose weight, and skin problems will possibly ease up. The same with alcohol.
But telling people to cut out all gluten without reason, and without properly teaching them how to do it healthily is just irresponsible.

    http://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/going-gluten-free-just-because-heres-what-you-need-to-know-201302205916

    1. Rachel Tan says:

Well yes, of course cutting out gluten makes no sense unless you have difficulty digesting gluten. However, some people with gluten sensitivities might not know that eating gluten is actually giving them allergies. My mom thought she had seasonal allergies for the longest time before finally finding out that it was gluten that made her eyes puffy and made it hard for her to breathe. She has stopped eating gluten now, and she doesn’t have any issues anymore. It’s not a fear of gluten. It’s finding out whether you have any sensitivities that you were not even aware of in the first place. If you actually read her plan, you would see that she recommends adding dairy and gluten back into your diet to see if it causes any problems. If not, then you can continue eating it.

    2. TGJ says:

Gluten causes leaky gut, regardless of intolerance or sensitivities. It’s bad for your gut and devoid of nutrition. Everyone can benefit from removing it from their diets. And it isn’t more expensive if you’re just eating protein, vegetables, fruit, nuts, etc. Real food.

  54. JessPepper_x says:

I’m confused, do we have to do all of the exercises listed on each day or do we just do 1? X

    1. Simona says:

All of them honey 🙂 Or if you find that too challenging, I suggest you do as much as you feel like until you get strong enough to do all of them! 🙂

      1. JessPepper_x says:

        Thanks x

    2. MarinasDiamond says:

All the exercises! If you’ve never done any of the calendars before, I suggest starting with the beginner’s calendar, then if you find it too easy just moving onto the monthly calendars!

      1. JessPepper_x says:

Thank u. I think I will see how I get on and whether it is too challenging!

  55. Léa says:

This is amazing, I love it. New year, new me ! Can’t wait to join the challenge and to follow the calendar. Thank you so much for your effort and determination Cassey ! <3 Happy New Year to everyone !!

  56. emyliea says:

can I still eat chocolate? I can’t live without them

    1. Léa says:

lol yes you can, but good chocolate and in little quantities ! Chocolate brings you good things ! (Not nutella though)

      1. Aryanna Lamarco says:

Milk chocolate or white isn’t good either, stick to dark chocolate for nutrition like antioxidants! 🙂

    2. luci says:

not if you are doing the 28 day reset

    3. Aryanna Lamarco says:

No added sugar, or processed foods. 🙁 Just try your hardest! If you truly can’t bare to do it then eat dark chocolate it has less sugar.

  57. megan says:

Im new to this so whats the hip hop fat burn like is that a workout or a move and where do I found how do it

    1. Melissa Tebbenkamp says:

Look the video up on YouTube! It’s one of the cardio workouts from cassey/ blogilates that I absolutely love!

      1. Aryanna Lamarco says:

If you go to the linkable PDF, you can just click on the name and it will bring you straight to the vid!

  58. So totally down with this! I’m gonna start tiday–December 31st

  59. Anjali says:

  62. lisa lazaro says:

I’m so excited for next year! This year has been pretty rough but I’m still great full for it because it still teaches us a lot of lessons. That being said, I’m glad it’s over and I have high hopes for next year. It’s going to be great because I’m going to make it great. Your workouts are such a positive influence for me and I’m making them a permanent part of my life next year ?
