Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, coat strawberries with sugar. Set aside for at least 20 minutes to allow the sugar to draw out the juices.
  • Add strawberry mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the strawberry pureé through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  • To the pitcher, add the orange juice, non-alcoholic Rosé, and simple syrup (if using).
  • Stir until combined, and add about half of your sliced strawberries.
  • Chill sangria for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  1. I got around 4 servings out of this, but this will depend on your glass sizes! My glasses are 14oz.
  2. The simple syrup is optional, if you like your sangria sweeter. You can buy this premade, or make your own - just heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar together on the stove until the sugar is dissolved. Then, remove from heat and cool.
  3. To make strawberry simple syrup - Heat 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1 cup sliced strawberries over medium-high heat until it just starts to boil. Lower the heat and simmer for around 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temp. Strain the strawberries before transferring mixture to a jar. Refrigerate.
