Thankful Thighs Thanksgiving Workout
Hello and Happy Monday!!!
I have a new workout for you! First time ever featuring a barbell! Obviously a lot of you at home may not have this so just hold heavy dumbbells in your hands.
I use these moves in my Bodypump and Powerflex classes. So if you think it’s similar to your classes, then it is! I started to get comfortable with lifting when I got certified to teach Bodypump. It empowered me to not be scared of the weight room. You guys should really go try a class at your gym if they offer it. Don’t be intimidated, there’s an instructor there to fix your form and the majority of the students are women. Also, YOU CHOOSE what weight you lift with so everyone can do the same moves without feeling left behind.
Also, what I love about these types of classes is the music. No more “4 sets of 15 reps….” – instead we get “go slow, go fast, single it out, pulse!” Then you’re done. Much easier to push through when you use the music to guide you.
I encourage you to try this workout at home with dumbbells – it’s just like being in a class with me. Will be fun. I promise!
