Today I want to commemorate Monsieur Souffle who fell to his unfortunate death in this Cheap Clean Eats episode. Please pay your respects by making this Raspberry Protein Souffle (currently my fave dessert of all time.) Seriously, it’s amazing and it will BLOW YOUR MIND.

RASPBERRY PROTEIN SOUFFLE
Ingredients:
– 6 ounces fresh raspberries
– 1 scoop strawberry protein powder
– 1⁄4 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar substitute
– 4 egg whites, room temperature
– OPTIONAL – chocolate chips
TOTAL PER SERVING: $1.35
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 6 ramekins with cooking spray and set aside.
2. Blend the raspberries (I used a Vitamix S30) and strain through a sieve to remove the seeds.
3. Stir in the protein powder and 1 tablespoon of sugar substitute. Set aside.
4. In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks forms (about 5 minutes). Gradually add in the 1⁄4 cup sugar substitute.
5. With a rubber spatula, gently fold in the raspberry mixture.
6. Place into each ramekin and press down the tops.
7. Bake for 12 minutes on a low rack.
These save well in fridge. Cover with foil and microwave for 25 seconds when ready to eat.

I’d like to see some one pot recipes. Stuff you can just throw in a crockpot (i.e. chili, stew, risottos) or one large pot and cook like that. I don’t always have the energy to use more than one pot or pan to cook something, so having a recipe or two where I can just throw stuff into one pot will save me so much time and energy. Not to mention clean up.
Maybe healthy twists on seasonal pies. Thanksgiving is coming up, so many healthier versions of pumpkin, apple, and pecan pie (also with tips on how to make gluten free and/or vegan).
I would love to see healthified fall comfort foods. Using Greek yogurt in mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe pie and other variations for fall deliciousness!! Please choose me to help me prep Clean Meals!
It would be so awesome to see some more snack ideas. Whenever I get home from school, I always want to grab for a cookie even though I known I shouldn’t, and something delicious AND healthy.

Nonetheless, I have great CHEAP CLEAN EATS ideas for you Cassey so I hope you use them:-) In Caribbean and Hispanic culture we eat plantains, which are in the banana family but less sweet and provide a complete meal. Cassey, I would like you to make plantain puree, plantain porridge, boiled plantain, baked plantain, etc for fellow POPsters. These are all tasty WITHOUT alot of calories and give an enjoyable kick to your tastebuds! I’m happy to send you my recipes or prepare them for you to try.

I am not sure if you have done it but I was wondering if you could create a series of video using the same few ingredients? I always find following recipes a little hard because I spend x amount buying the ingredients but only using half of it and throwing them out by the end of the week. You should make a healthified version of caramel apples and popcorn balls. Also cozy fall soups. And Apple crisp! Oh there are so many awesome things you could makes!

Drooooool…..I might just try this recipe (using my cheapo ole blender LOL). I am always intimidated on trying to bake souffle though I really want to, afraid that it may turn out deflated! Yet you made it look so easy, and a very healthy yummylicious souffle at that. Wonder if it works with other berries, since I only have strawberries on had ATM.

I would really love to win this! I’m a single mum who struggles to makes ends meet and I follow your pop pilates calender each night when I have put my 2 year old daughter to bed. I would love a recipe with a vegan or vegetarian meatloaf. That is, something packed with good stuff like mushrooms and veggies, that I could keep in the fridge and freezer and take out to quickly heat up. Like, I would just boil rice or potatoes, green veg and a quick gravy and voilá, a quick wholesome dinner is served.

Ooh I know. Something that I can make at work! I always leave for work in a rush and I run out of time to pack a lunch. Then my options are either skipping lunch or buying something unhealthy and overpriced. If I could just toss a couple ingredients in my bag and worry about fixing them up later, that would solve the problem. We have a mini-fridge, microwave and basic dishes, but my break is super short, so it should be something I can whip up in a few minutes. Also it shouldn’t be too messy or smelly. Haha it’s a challenge alright!
A gluten free Chocolate dessert. It can be anything. Requirements are it has to be super tasty, chocolate (duh), and has to fulfill my lady time of the month cravings … Yep, those are the only requirements 🙂
Lightened up mac and cheese would be amazing! I love making it as a pasta bake with lots of broccoli but it’s sooo cheesy.

Been trying to post this an hour and a half ago but the websites wasn’t working properly. I know it’s too late for the Vitamix but I still want to share this recipe with all the fellow POPsters cause it is yummy!
Quinoa Pizza Bites!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
– 1 cup quinoa (cooked)
– 1 cup canned (or cooked) pinto beans
– 1/2 cup tomato paste
– 2 tsp dry basil
– 1/2 tsp onion powder
– 1/2 tsp garlic
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1 tsp sugar or a bit of stevia (you can leave it out but it tastes better with it)
– mozzarella cheese (I love mozzarella and I think it works heavenly but you can leave it out if you are on a strict diet or sth)
Mash the beans and mix everything together. Roll them into small balls and push a small piece of mozzarella in the middle (if you find this difficult just grate the cheese and mix it in). Preheat the oven at 350 F and bake for about 30 min. At the end I put them a bit on the grill version of the oven so that they become crispy on the outside.
Mark my words and give this a try!
I know you don’t like chocolate, but a lot of us do!! you could bring in a guest taste tester or make something in a chocolate version and a vanilla version so you can try too 🙂

What you need:
– 2 kale leaves
– 2 celery “things” (can’t remember how they are called to save my life!)
– 3 carrots
– 1 apple without the seeds and the core
– 1/3 cup parsley
Put everything in the juicer and enjoy!

I actually do have an idea…any soy free desserts…
What I ate today:
Chicken with pineapple and bell peppers YUM!
You need:
– around 120gr chicken breast (that should be about 4 oz if I calculate correctly)
-½ cup bell peppers
-½ cup pineapple (fresh)
– 1 TBS mustard
-bit of coconut oil or PAM
– bit of salt and pepper (to taste)
-bit of cumin or curry (to taste)
Cut the chicken in small pieces and marinate the chicken with the mustard and the spices. Cut the bell peppers and pineapple to small pieces. Put a bit of oil in the pan and cook the chicken. After the chicken has cooked a bit (not too much), add the peppers and pineapple and stir for about 5 min or so until the veggies are browned a bit.
I ate this today on a bed of Quinoa and it was very tasty, quick and cheap! Right up your alley 😉

a 5 ingredient challenge! take 5 ordinary clean eating pantry standby ingredients and make a basic dish with it that can be varied easily by adding just 1 more ingredient (excluding of course seasonings like salt/ pepper/ herbs/ hot sauce or garlic). would be nice if you can make something that can easily be made vegan (ie not an egg or cheese based recipe). you can even let us POPsters help choose or vote for the 5 ingredients from a basic pantry list you privide… could be fun 🙂

Another recipe that I love is tuna burgers!
You need:
– 1 can tuna
– 1 egg white
– a bit chopped onion (to taste)
– 1 clove garlic
– OPTIONAL any herbs you like (I love this with thyme or a bit of oregano)
Mix everything up and cook like a burger. Enjoy!
I eat this a lot during the weekdays because I can make a batch of it on Sunday and then carry with me 3-4 burger patties for lunch every day. I either eat it with a side of veggies, or in a tortilla or with the portobello bun that I learned from you. It is very quick, filling, portable, and full of protein. Also you can experiment with adding other things as well. For instance one time I also grated a bit of carrot in the mix and I loved the combination. Some times I add lemon and/or mustard to the mix. I hope you enjoy!

Yet another comfort food recipe but seriously, you have got to try this!!! Ok I make the chocolate version and I know that you don’t like chocolate BUT you can make a variation with vanilla and almonds!
Here is the recipe I use for the most clean, decadent chocolatey cookie in the world!
All you need is:
– ½ avocado
– ¼ cup protein powder (I use chocolate but you can use vanilla)
– 1 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 small piece of chocolate or a few chocolate chips.
Mash the avocado and mix everything up. Put it on a baking sheet or a non stick sheet and put it in the oven at 350-400 F for about 12 minutes. You want it to be soft and moist so don’t overlook it. This is my to go snack when I have those difficult days in the month and I really need that extra something.
I really hope you try a variation of this that fits your pallet cause it is seriously delicious!

It would be great if you could healthify some afternoon meals. I always get home after work late in the afternoon (5-6p.m) and don’t have the strenght to spend lots of time in the kitchen, but at the same time I would like to eat something filling, so I end up eating carbs too often, like pasta or some sandwiches… It would be great to have some ideas how to stay happy and full at the same time without feeling guilty 😉

I would love to see a video on planning a weeks worth of meals for singles. So many recipes are geared towards families such that I end up with so much in leftovers. I would love to know how to creatively use leftovers without getting tired of eating the same thing. Or, some groceries stores make it hard to buy smaller quantities of certain vegetables so that when I cook single portion meals, I still need a way to use the rest of my bunch of Kale without detesting Kale by the end of the week.
Blogilates is the reason I absolutely kicked it on a physical fitness exam for a job application. For sit-ups, I totally crushed the minimum requirement and did 200 more sit-ups than the previous record holder. Blogilates is why I have such great core strength. I could really use a Vitamix to get my diet in better shape in order to reveal the six-pack laying underneath a small layer, but nevertheless layer, of fat.

I’m envisioning like some sort of chewy “caramel” made out of dates, and maybe use a Quest bar as the crunchy cookie part (of a twix bar..? Or maybe Hershey’s cookies and cream chocolate bar using Quest bits and coconut oil? Just some ideas!)
Personally, I find myself using “Halloween” as an excuse to gorge myself on candy for the entire month of October (there always seem to be giant bowls of candy everywhere you go during Fall, am I right?!)

Well firstly, I must second what everyone is saying about fall inspired foods. I don’t think I will ever get sick of the warm, spicy aroma of pumpkin and other squash dishes. I also think a healthy Thanksgiving series is brilliant!
My request is pretty random and has nothing to do with the season. I’m a sucker for Chinese take-out and I’m always trying to recreate healthier versions at home, so I really appreciate your lettuce cup and chow mein recipes (both delicious!). However, I am completely stumped on how to recreate Honey Walnut Shrimp, which I am OBSESSED with. It’s been my favorite dish since childhood!
Anyway, thank you for making health and fitness so fun, easy and accessable for so many people! You have taken the guess work out of living a healthy, glowing life! You are an incredibly beautiful, selfless person! I wish I could meet you!

Clean presents: You could make some clean goodies and give them to you friends to encourage them to start eating clean! It should be something you can pack in a box and put a bow on top or something like that to let it look cute. This present shows your friends or parents how much you love them. 🙂
2. The blogilates community is international: In every cce video you could try to say a saying or a wisdom from another country, in another language. The community could send them to you, you choose one and say it in your next video so you and we, we could learn about different cultures which is, how I think, very interesting.

I’d like it if you made a video about food cravings (like craving something sweet, salty, etc.) then tell us what each craving means, like what vitamins and minerals you are lacking. (There are different charts that you can find on the Internet that tell u that.) then u could tell us what healthy foods have those vitamins and minerals, and give us an idea of what we can eat to help with those cravings. 🙂

I have to say, I make banana pancakes EVERY week. I like to add a dash of vanilla and cinnamon and a nutmeg. They are my favorite!!!! I also like to ad nonfat vanilla greek yogurt on top as my “syrup” Thanks to you for that inspiring recipe!
