Healthy, Quick, Easy School Lunch Ideas

Hey there!

Look what I made yesterday? Super yummy low cal, low carb tortilla wraps!!!! I got these tortilla from Trader Joes and they are only 60 cals a slice with net carbs of 4g! Excellent.

These wraps will make great back to school, back to work lunches. They are light but filling  and inexpensive! Totaling in at under 150 cals per wrap  spewing with great vegetables – what else do you need or want?

Have fun watching!

these wraps look awesome. Wraps are some of my favourit ways to package together delicious healthy ingredients at lunch, especially when I want all the healthy veggies that would be in a salad, but an easier way to eat them!

I love your healthy food videos! (also–just an idea-but the flat out roll-up pitas might also work, and are only a little bigger (and only 100 cals), and would have more room for veggies etc inside!)
Can you please make more food bite videos? I’ve tried almost all of your recipes and always love them!

I loved this video! I’ve always avoided wraps as usually they are just as dangerous as bread, so I’m excited to try this!

Also, do you have any healthy alternatives for tortilla chips? I love love love chips and salsa, and I know the salsa is ok (it’s just veggies after all), but what can I use instead of the tortilla chips that offer that same satisfying crunch? Thanks in advance 🙂

maybe just take the wrap and bake it. i think that’s how they make tortilla chips…

Do I hear T-Swift in the background?? Those wraps look great. My lunches are always generally produce-heavy, but I def need more variety. Those look great!

AH-HA! I have been doing exactly this for the past 3 weeks of school. Here’s my recipe: 1 can tuna (in olive oil~~naughtynaughty), 2 carrots shredded, 1 cup parsley&cilantro mix chopped, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, 2 tblsp purple onion, ~2 tblsp homemade honey vinaigrette, handful of greens, and cheese if I’m feel’n cheesy. This makes enough for 4 wraps, so my SO and I get two lunches out of this.

That vegan wrap looks killer! It’s on my shopping list for this week. NOM!

Hahahah Cassey this put such a big smile on my face. Thank you so much for the tips! Could you PLEASE do a “How to stay on track with your fitness while in school” video? You know, when college or high school is stressing you out so hard and you barely have time for anything, how to stay motivated and keep working out? If I told you the amount of days I DIDN’T work out last week because I was so tired (18 college credits, work, trying to have a social life…) you would probably cry.

That would be awesome! Please do that! Love you!!!

Hi Cassey <3 I'm 16 and 5'3 and I'm trying to lose weight so I'm eating clean and exercising at least 3 days a week. i use my fitness pal and my calorie intake is 1200 but I never reach it; at the end of the day It'll be a total of 900 cals max but i eat healthy and i eat every 3 hours and i never let myself feel hungry. is it bad?
hahaha before i was complaining that I consumed too many now its too little..there's no in between :p
