Hey there POPsters!!!

Here is your new Monday workout! This routine targets all things that build up your core which is more than just your abs ya know! Your core is made up of your: abs, obliques, and lower back! It’s everything around your waistline! You can’t really tell but I am doing this routine on a slanted shore and OMG it was so hard!!! Slanting down on my upper body! Ah but I welcomed the challenge! If you don’t have a slanted surface, a regular flat floor is totes ok too 🙂

And!! I’m so loving my shirt in this video! It left me with a really weird tan afterwards, but whatever, so worth it! Haha. This is the Flower Top from UpVibe. Shorts are my own from an etsy shop a couple years ago.

Tomorrow I have a photoshoot and I am going to go shopping crazy tonight because you know, I have like, NO CLOTHES. I’ll instagram what I get so you can help me pick outfits.

    Hi Cassey, I love these workouts, but I was wondering if there was a modified version of the ballerina twist. I’m not quite where I want to be with my upper body strength and I struggle much with this exercise.

It makes me happy to hear that teaching and helping us get fit and healthy is giving you so much joy. I hope one day I’ll be able to go to LA and attend one of your classes!     Hey, Cassey, I wanna ask if h could do a workout that really works but like people won’t notice u are working out its because I’m actually working out secretly buy yh it’s that I’m already thin it’s that I feel I mean I FEEL FAT but I ain’t I checked my weight it’s good but I want a workout that people won’t realise I’m working out

      Actually working out is about changing you body with gaining muscles (and sometimes loosing fat). So “secretly” working out doesn’t really make sense the way I undestand it.
      Also, if you say you are thin but feel fat there might be a problem with your body perception….that’s something you can work on while you work out pretty good (been there, mastered that)

      There is a difference between being thin, and being healthy. And Sinia raises a good point about body perception, so do ask yourself what your goal is. Sometimes when people are naturally slim, family and friends worry that an interest in overall health might be an eating disorder in disguise. If your goal is improved health and stamina then hiding your healthy eating and exercising will only add to those fears. Be frank with your family about what your motivation is. Exercise and balanced eating reduces the risk of a lot of potential,future health issues such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, long term stress, etc. Reducing these risks are far more important than a dress size. Who knows, maybe your loved ones will come along the journey to good health with you.

    Cassey! I am unable to access the calendar!! I’ve been a Popster for about a year now and the calendars always work for me but this August one isn’t. I’ve tried putting the password in literally about 30 times both on my computer and my iphone but every time it just loads the page to put the password in again! It doesn’t tell me that the password is incorrect or anything. I’ve scrolled down to see if it’s there and it’s not. I have quadruple checked the email with the password and put it in very slowly and it still does the same thing. Please help! I wanna work out!

      Have u tried to put the password in with a capital ‘I’??
      I had the problem aswell.

      did you write the password with the first letter as a capital? That seems to be the problem for a lot of people

    Its amazing how people underestimate the benefits of core strength training. Even when doing all over strength training with weights, your core strength adds a lot of power. Great Video

    I have such a hard time with the Ballerina Twists because my shoulder on the arm holding me up keeps pushing back against my shoulder blade (and it really hurts) But I loved the swimming and seal moves those were just really fun to do and I felt my lower back.

    Love the background and your outfit!! This one did get me sweating but I’m going to have to give it a 5! I have come a long way being able to do all the Ballerina Twists and such but would it be ok to stack your feet instead of having them split? Would it do anything different? Thanks for just being you, Cassey
