Hey guys!
Wow I am overwhelmed at the response from yesterday’s post! I am trying to read over all 900+ comments. Each one of you were so thoughtful and perfect, I couldn’t ask for better listeners. Thank you for loving me, loving you, and respecting each and every one of us for exactly who we are regardless of shape, size, or color. You, my friends, are gems.
You know, even though I was dreading to write that post…I know that a lot of you resonated with it and took something valuable away from it because it’s real. This stuff happens. To everyone. In fact, I started getting facebook messages and texts from friends in high school and college who I haven’t heard from in years! It was so unexpected and sweet. Then I got tweets and phone calls from fellow fitness experts saying that they too struggle with sculpting a maintainable trainer type body.
See, it’s everyone. It’s just now about who’s willing to share the real nitty gritty and who wants to cover it up and pretend everything’s easy. There are ups and downs always and I want you to know you’re not alone! I promise you that I will always tell you the truth and share with you my most genuine emotions. I look at this blog more like a diary than a news source. It’s a place for girlfriends to come discuss real life issues! So thank you for accepting me as me even when I struggle to find peace with my body.
Now, onto the second thing in my title!
Extra TV (as in Mario Lopez and Maria Menounos!!???) reached out to me and our Blogilates Community and asked us to submit some funny videos of us doing sit ups! Watch this first.
Extra TV wants you to upload a 30 sec video of you doing sit ups while being super distracted. Like sit ups while cooking. Sit ups while putting on make up. Sit ups while mowing the lawn. Sit ups while driving.
Just kidding. Don’t do the last one.
The most creative ones will be featured on TV next week!!! I’m headed to The Grove in LA on Tues May 7th to film a quickie workout segment with Mario and Maria on Extra! I will be there at 3:30pm, so anyone who wants to come and cheer us on in the background please come!! Wear your Blogilates gear! I’ll need you support as I kill their abs. I’ll stick around to talk too so if you missed the LA meet up, I’d love to see you! Or even if you didn’t miss the meet up, I would STILL love to see you again 🙂
So the rules are:
1. Upload to YouTube a 30 sec video of you doing distracted sit ups

3. DEADLINE: Monday May 6th, 2013
Any country, any age! Upload as many times as you want! The crazier, the better! The most creative will be featured on TV!

Those 2 are like seriously my fave YouTubers. My sister was the one who introduced me to them a few years ago and like seriously, their humor is in line with mine and I laugh at nearly every one of Ryan’s videos. D-Trix is an amazing dancer and also very nice too!
So what was I up to? Some of us YouTubers got together to film a special video that you will see in a couple of weeks (I think). I can’t tell you much about what it is for, but here were some of the stars involved:
Do you follow any of the people above? UHHHH. Because I sure do and to see them in real life was crazy!!
What was my role in the production? I played a trainer. Alongside DeStorm!!
We were training this guy. Look familiar? Yes. He is the one who made out with Bar Refaeli on the GoDaddy.com Superbowl commercial.
You know, normally when I shoot I have my Canon 60D DSLR and I feel pretty professional. But this. This is a whole ‘nother level.
Whoa.
I can’t wait to see when this video comes out! It’s been my secret dream for a looooooong time now to be in one of these funny YouTube productions alongside my peers! These are people I’ve watched and respected for years. To me, they are celebrities! It was definitely an honor to talk to them and make new friends.
Ok well I should probably go to bed! It’s 5:20am. How did I do this again!!??

Ok I got the most random question but WHEN DO YOU GET UP in the morning ??? Coz 5:something am is when i gotta get up xD and I’m trying trying tryyyyying to convince myself to get up at like 4ish to work out in the morning and I just CAN NOT !!!! I mean when I go to be at 11:30 ish pm I’m all like 4,5 hours of sleep will be just fine I’m gonna ROCK THAT WORK-OUT and then at 3:59 i open my eyes, turn off the alarm and pretend I dont know anyone called “work-out” … so what to doooo ???? I know it’s random but I wonder how you guys deal with getting up real early – or when do you do your work out ???? Coz I dont get home till 9 pm … it’s trickeeeyyyy !!!!!
oh and FYI it’s not 5:21 am here right now while I’m typing that xD it’s 2:21 pm and I’m sitting in Hamburg, Germany xD

Can I just say, Cassie – I love your life. AND – I LOVE THE GROVE! I very much don’t live in LA – yet! But it has been one of my favourite places to visit – not for shopping – most of those stores aren’t really ones I frequent, but I’m the type who’s all about atmosphere – way cool.
Good luck moving – I know moving is the 2nd most stressful thing in life – I read that somewhere and believe it :S

Cassey, I really like the way you look right now, and I don’t think you have to lose weight. You are beautiful. I like your legs like this, and your belly. I think that a little bit of fat over your muscles can be as sexy as the inner thigh gap or as flat abs. The important thing is to be fit, and strong and happy.
Is…is that Lindsey Stirling right next to you?? It sure looks like her, and if it is, I’m jealous. =P love her music. And if it’s not and you don’t know who she is, you should TOTALLY check her out! She is a hip hop violinist who dances while she played, and I think some of her music would make really good workout videos. =)
ooooh if you like cool violinists – check out Anna Phoebe – she does folk and other stuff – kind of a rock violinist and she’s super nice!

Just started following last month and I love your work out videos, calendar and the whole vibe here 🙂 I have to say your post yesterday was honest and amazing and makes me want to keep following that much more. You should know you look fabulous and beautiful right now! Even as a fitness pro, you don’t need to live up to Other peoples standards. Great message. Also, I love Jenna Marbles haha, I am 26 so I think in the older range of both your and her fans but I guess young at heart 😉 Excited to see that video.
