– 1 lemon

*Lemon: stimulates the digestive track and helps with constipation.

Yesterday I had a MAJOR YOLO meal that I’ve been planning for  weeks now since I was eating super clean for my book cover photo shoot and my DVD shoot. I invited my friends out to have the fattiest burgers, hotdogs, and fries I’ve ever tasted! Look:

doghaus

That burger has 4 Hawaiian rolls as the top bun and 4 Hawaiian rolls as the bottom bun. That’s 8 Hawaiian rolls in one hamburger. It was my YOLOmeal celebration. Let’s not talk about calories, k? Mine was the “healthiest” with avocado, a fried egg, jalapeno cheese, and a huge burger patty inside. Some of the others had fries, chili, bacon, and just unspeakable things that should not be paired together for the sake of the human race. At first we all were DYING because of how amazing it tasted. Sweet, salty, gooey, soft, cheesy, crunchy…omg everything was perf.

Then…

I fell into a MAJOR food coma. I passed out 3 times yesterday. Once while my friends were playing Scrabble in the afternoon. Once in the car ride home. And once at night while checking email. It was really horrible and kinda funny (not really) all at the same time. My body just couldn’t handle. I felt sick, groggy, slow, and just blehhh. I thought a good night’s sleep would cure all. But I woke up with some congestion and crusty eyes.

SO!!! What’s the point of me telling you all that? I eat clean like literally 90-95% of the time. I save a YOLO Meal for once a week to satisfy my taste buds and my soul. But because I haven’t YOLO’d in a long while due to my shoots, I wanted to go hard. But…I went too hard. I didn’t really think it was possible as I never really get sick. But my body was like “DON’T YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!!!!”

It was like putting low quality gas in a beautiful car that can only take premium gasoline. The car (my body) malfunctioned and stopped running. Luckily, I recovered. But do it too much and the effects may be hard to reverse. Your body is your vehicle…feed it well so you can drive smoothly.

Our body is our best indicator of our health – all the symptoms you see and feel are red flags for you to diagnose. Be your own doctor. You know your body best. If it doesn’t feel good, stop it. If it feels good, do more of it. That’s a general rule I follow.

ANYWAY!! I woke up needing something to detoxify me from that carb and fat overload yesterday! So I made myself some Detox Water for Craving Control & Beautiful Skin. My goal was to rehydrate my insides since all that sodium was making me feel all shriveled up internally and externally. I also wanted to make sure to stop myself from wanting that meal again. I mean, the sick feeling I got will remind me to not want to eat like that but also, sometimes our bodies can get addicted to sugar and carbs if we have it too much.

So I hope you get a chance to try the concoction above! Let me know how it makes you feel! It tastes so good. I can drink it forever and ever! There’s zero calories in the whole thing unless you decide to eat the fruits afterwards.

Have you ever YOLO’d so hard that you passed out?

<3 Cassey

I love this recipe but since I was a kid I never liked cinnamon… Do I need to put it in?

How long should the water sit & infuse before I start drinking it? How long can it be left in the fridge? I appreciate all information anyone provides!

      YUMMY!! ;3

Sucks, that you enjoyed yurself so much, and then had to pay for it later!

    Hello There,
    How are you?
I just want to ask if I can drink whole milk or have my cereal w/milk after I drink my lemon water? Or should I wait a few minutes to half a hour or more??
Would it cause a bad reaction when lemon juice and milk are combined? Can I get sick??
I’m sorry I’m just concerned about the reaction of lemon with whole milk and other types of milk such as….. almond/coconut milk.
Hoping you can help me pretty please 🙂 🙂
Thank you for your time, it means very much.

    1. Cheryl says:

I wouldn’t worry about having a bad reaction when mixing milk and lemon juice. Whenever I need buttermilk when baking, I mix those 2 to make the milk sour. Hope this helped.

OMG THIS IS IN THE VALLEY.

  11. Jackie Saray says:

I was wondering what the recipe would be for one serving..like for a detox cup serving.

  12. Ana Abreu says:

OMG is that what happens? I had a YOLO meal this pass Friday and a few hours later i throw it all up and then passed out!!!!!!

It was crazy, Im glad I wasn’t by myself and since I read this blog now I will never do it again!!!!!!

  13. Olivia says:

I was wondering if i could go without the strawberries in the mixture? I can’t find them anywhere in the supermarkets now as it’s Autumn. Any suggestions for any other fruits I could try?

    1. Ali says:

Use frozen. It will also help keep the water cold.

  14. Eveline says:

    Hey everybody!

I was reading this (obviously) and today I also had to much of a Yolo meal. It’s my boyfriends birthday so I figured that I could eat something unhealthy today. We went to a Pubquiz, which was super fun btw, and they had skittles and M&M’s mixed in little bowls. And you can guess, I ate way too much of them and now, I am nauseous… So it’s my own fault but still, I am thinking why in the *peep* would I do this? I wasn’t even hungry, I just ate them because they were there in front of me all the time. So yes no more Yolo for a week! And now I know why x)

  15. Annie says:

    Hey cassey
So as I was reading your post I was going thru my Yolo meal if you say so I asked my boyfriend to get me something to eat since it was 1am and I didn’t eat dinner because I felt asleep so he got me some fries and tacos well I been following your meal plans for 2 weeks and needless to say 5 min after eating I felt bad my stomach was hurting well still is I got diarrhea and I had the urge to puke. I am in shock as to how my body changed 2 weeks ago this was nothing now it hurts to eat junk food

  16. Megan says:

I started drinking this on sunday with the goal of clearer skin. I feel like im breaking out worse than i was since ive started. Is this part of the detoxing?!

    1. Eboni says:

I think you may be allergic to something in the mixture.

    2. Lisa says:

Theres a possibility the impurities are coming to the surface

    3. Lana says:

When I drink water with lemon in it, I break out too. I assume it is the acidity.

  17. Michelle says:

So I’ve been going hard for the last few weeks really committing myself to working out everyday and eating prettty clean. I’ve been looking forward to my YOLO meal from SONIC that I had planned for quite some time. Today for lunch I had that meal…… and I feel GROSS! I believe I am experiencing my first true ‘food coma’. I immediately thought back to this post. Cassey, I believed you when you said you overdid it with the YOLO meal but I didn’t think it could be this bad. Ugh! I don’t know why but my first instinct was to come on here an post something, LOL. I hope I don’t experience the hangover part tomorrow 🙁

  18. Leandra says:

I know this is a super late response, but the only time I can specifically remember YOLOing too hard was in 8th grade (Oh gosh, 8 years ago!) after I took the practice SAT. I went to Wendy’s with my friends, and got a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a Frosty. For some people that may be normal, but my family was never that big into fast food, and my mom usually cooked pretty nutritiously. I’m pretty sure that’s the last time I’ve had a burger from Wendy’s! Now whenever I go there (which is like once or twice a year) I get one of their salads. I’m at the point in my life where fatty foods make me feel incredibly blehhhhh unless if I eat them any more than once every 3 weeks or so. (I wish I could say the same about super-sugary foods though! I’m fighting my sugar addiction tooth and nail!) I think I might try this detox water next weekend, which is the next time the cafeteria will have fresh strawberries that I can take home with me…

    Hi Cassey & fellow Popsters!

I just wanted to point out a possible side effect of drinking citrus detox water close to your period start date. I made a blog post about it: http://loveorurban.com/2014/02/26/lemon-detox-warning/

But long story short, it caused mine to delay for 6 days! I haven’t found professional medical advice to back this claim up; however, a quick google search turns up tons of posts about girls experiencing the same thing.

Just wanted to point it out so everyone can be careful!

    1. ConPanna says:

In chinese medicine, there’s stuff that are ” cold ” and stuff that are ” hot “. Lemon happens to be something that’s in the “cold” category. Therefore, drinking too much of it may cause your period to delay. At least that’s what I learned from my parents. Not to mention drinking ice cold stuff just makes it worst cuz apparently it causes ur womb to contract *-* … My period delays and then I get huge cramps afterwards if i drink too much ice cold drinks / eat too much ice cream.

  20. Ashley says:

soo this is gonna sound like a really dumb question but how long can i use the fruit until i should add fresh ingredients to the water…and should i just throw the old ingredients away or can i eat it? thanks for the help! ><

    1. AiLyN says:

That is not a dumb question 😉 I was gonna ask just the same thing 😀

    2. Tiffany says:

      This might help.

  21. Maria says:

Nice recipe, i love this, but maybe i will add ginger in this combination. Ginger is great detox too.

  22. Kristel says:

Whua, this is awesome. I’m going to try it out right away. I think it will taste delicious! And DAT YOLO MEAL AMMAGAWD O_O <3

  23. Heidi says:

Sounds delicious! I was wondering if a significant amount of nutrients actually enter the water?

  24. Jessica says:

I was wondering if you can make the water in large like pitchers, and let it sit in your fridge? Will it get gross, or go bad?

  25. Leigh says:

I love doing the fruit waters. Some of my fav are lemon/lime or lemon/fresh mint or kiwi/raspberry/strawberry. This one sounds delish! Never thought of adding cinnamon to the water before!
I have done the bad binge thing and always feel horrible afterward. Sick and tired and just plain out of it. Funny how we do this to our bodies.

Thanks for the detox water. Going to the kitchen now to make mine up. So super excited! <3

  26. Cecilia says:

I made this water last night to drink this morning. It is SO GOOD! It reminds me of the iced passion tea at starbucks. I didn’t add mint since I didn’t have any, and I forgot to add cinnamon until this morning. Either way-SUPER delicious!

    1. Rebekah says:

I agree! I made this last night and took a sip just this morning and it does taste exactly like the passion tea at Starbuck (unsweented version). Good thing because I love their passion ice tea!

  27. Whittney says:

Love these water drinks that are posted…. I need to try it. How long do you let it sit for before you drink it????

    1. Rebekah says:

I let mine sit over night…

  28. Claudia says:

Instead of using strawberrys can I substitute it won’t raspberrys??

  29. Rosa @HHR says:

I love the ideas for these flavored waters but I’m usually so lazy. Maybe I’ll try a simple version of one of these soon–like a lemon-cinnamon one?

  30. Gabby says:

Wow! I just made the detox water and it is soooo good! I was skeptical about putting cinammon straight in water, but it tastes very good! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe, Cassey!!! <3

  31. AJ says:

How long do you leave the water sitting before you drink it?
And isn’t one to two liters a lot?
How long do you have to drink it until it’s not good anymore?

  32. Alesha says:

The water is so tasty 🙂 First time in my life drinking water feels this good!

  33. Beth says:

Whoah, like this just happened! I ate Wendy’s today (crispy Asiago chicken ranch yum) for a YOLO meal, after working very hard to eat a whole lot cleaner for the past couple of months….and now I feel awful! I went to work out, doing some Blogilates of course, about 2 hours after eating, and I just couldn’t do it. Headache, heartburn, sluggish…I think the lesson really sank in!

  34. Fitfay says:

Dear Cassey thank you for inspiring me and changing the way how I see the world around me. because of you I am trying to change my diet completely. I was trying to eat clean for several times since now but I have allways failed. Your posts have motivated me to start all over again. I have actually started my own blog where I want to share my experience with the world – I am starting 3 months clean eating challenge. Hope you will support me. Your advices mean a lot to me. You can read all about my challenge on fitfay.blogspot.com or follow my daily challenges on facebook and instagram 🙂

  35. Rosie says:

I’ve been eating clean since the fall. When I needed car repairs over late fall, my father and I went out for a burger. It had been two weeks since I last had fast food, so I had my YOLO meal. I was SO sick after I ate it. My father was so concerned, he has made a family announcement to not let me eat a big mac again. I think I’ll stick to their salads. 🙂

  36. Rebekah says:

I’ve also read that the longer you eat clean the larger the reaction to unhealthy food but also other things…like your sensitivity to smells and man made products. For example, if you stop using perfume/deodorant you may find that you become sensitive to people who wear perfume and the smell is unbearably strong and if someone sprays deodorant in the same room, you may have difficulty breathing and even start coughing. I’ve not only read about this but experienced it since giving up deodorant and using lemon juice/bicarb soda instead…

  37. Rebekah says:

A few days ago was my mums birthday. We had KFC, Chinese takeaway and chocolate birthday cake. All things I only eat a few times a year…it tasted so good but oh so deceiving! That night I suddenly started feeling dizzy and getting hot flushes and then stomach cramps. I rushed to the toilet and just threw up emptying most of the junk from that day…everyone else in my family was fine aside a bit of queasiness. I noticed that the less I eat junk/fast food……when I do have it I feel so bad or my body just rejects it. But never passing out…I guess since you eat extremely clean Cassey your body can no longer digests those type of foods in such large quantities.

  38. Love this post, stop by and check out my blog.

  39. Rachel Y says:

okay that is a HUGE yolo meal esp after weeks of eating clean hahaha, Cassey you got too excited! 😀 Looks delicious though!! *drools
Well I don’t get into a food coma but like on the occasions that I do eat unhealthy ( like having mcdonalds burgers and chips which I’ve only had like twice last year!) I get really sluggish and not as bright as on the days i do eat healthy.
So strange you can actually feel the affect of those foods after you’ve avoided them for a long time.

Thanks Cassey for the detox water recipe! I always have those ingredients at home so this is super convenient to make!

  40. Deanna says:

Cassey!!!! You definitely YOLO’ed. Do you take supplements? If you do, I learned about two from Dr. Oz that help reduce fat absorption in the intestines. One is called Chitosan….you take 4 (according to the bottle) about 1/2 hour before your meal. The other is Calcium Pyruvate…you take 1 (according to the bottle) about 1/2 hour before your meal. I have been taking these for about 2 weeks now. I ate 2 chili dogs, chili cheese fries, and a Sprite about a week ago, but didn’t feel blehh. I think these two supplements had something to do with it! Try it the next time you YOLO!!!

  41. Claire says:

Said 0 cals in newsletter, but all of those fruits have a considerable amount of calories

    1. Ana says:

Only if you eat the fruits.

  42. Claire says:

In the email you said that the water was zero calories, but how can that be true considering that all of those fruits contain a considerable amount of calories? If you drink the entire thing in a day that is certainly at least a few servings of fruit.

    1. Chell says:

If you read all the way to the bottom, she writes “There’s zero calories in the whole thing unless you decide to eat the fruits afterwards.” so there’s your answer! 🙂

  43. Vanessa says:

Hiii ! My name is Vanessa and I live in Switzerland. I want lose some weight, I give up a lot too because I haven’t any motivation because of school and I was too stressed and I don’t find anytime. I found your website and I hope that your advices help me !!! I appreciate a lot what do you think for the people like me. (Excuse me if there are some mistakes in my text, I study English at school but sometimes there are some words that I don’t know write or translate 🙂 )

Thank you a lot. – Kisses

    1. Beth says:

Hi Vanessa! I wish you well! Go slow at first with her Beginner’s Calendar. That really helped me out. I think the workouts take about 30 to 45 minutes to complete, and because Cassey is so funny, it seems like the time passes very quickly!

    2. Sonia says:

Hey Vanessa I’m from Switzerland too (french part and you?)
We could maybe give eachother some support!
We could maybe get more motivation that way!
If you want to write to me back : sonia.manai@hotmail.fr

  44. Maggie May says:

So I just take all these ingredients and throw it in a cup together? does it sit? Can I make a big batch of it and leave it in the fridge?

  45. Steph says:

I’m allergic to apples (as well as pears, peaches, & cherries). What can I substitute the apple with?

    1. Michelle says:

I made mine without apples (only because I forgot to throw one in) and it is still DELICIOUS. But, if you really wanted to sub something in for the benefits, you could get the vitamin C from another fruit with something like orange slices. It might taste funky with the cinnamon though…won’t know until you try!

    2. Katie says:

Orange and cinnamon actually go really well together so that could be a good substitute. Plus there are oranges in the other detox water she posted, so they have benefits in this situation. I’d say try it 🙂

  46. Joc says:

Do you have to put the cinnamon in? I feel like it would taste odd to have cinnamon dust in the water… Any other replacements or is it okay to leave it out?
    Thanks!:)

    1. RebekahM says:

you don’t have to. I tried it with cinnamon and swirled it around and let it sit overnight and it tasted fine. no dust.

  47. Samantha says:

I guess I passed out from YOLO-ing too hard once. I had the first steak of my life (actually I only had about half of a very little steak, but still). I went home and I felt so tired that I just went straight to bed. I felt like my stomach was full of steak for like three days and just felt groggy and gross. Soon after that I made the switch to vegetarianism…largely in part because of the feeling that steak left me with.

    1. JERRILYNN says:

Yes, I have too. But I am thinking it is because my blood pressure runs so low and if I really push myself and eat clean then eat a big meal it does something to my sugar levels. But I have done the same thing. It is not a fun experience.

  48. Anna says:

I ate a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and woke up 14 hours later…

  49. Erna says:

The Detox Water looks delicious I am going to make it !

I wonder ,instead of eating one BIG Yolo meal once in a while ,wouldnt it be better to handle the 80/20 rule ?Which means eating 80 % clean /healthy and 20 % what you just love wether its clean or not ? It makes sense to me,because labelling foods as good or bad promotes eatng disorders/obsessing over food, health and body !

    1. Simi says:

That’s what I follow, it allows for having the foods you really like but in healthier portions. Regular exercise and a 80/20 balance of food leaves me feeling fit, healthy and not craving for ‘bad’ foods.

      1. Erna says:

        Glad to hear that !

  50. Tracy says:

Do you think it would still work if I didn’t have mint for a day? I will be able to get it tomorrow night, but I want to start drinking it tomorrow.

    1. Melody says:

Of course it will work! you just won’t have that fresh minty taste, but the benefits of the fruit is still there. 🙂

  51. Melody says:

Cassey I’ve been doing the same thing with my water! It’s so refreshing 🙂 Having been following a healthy lifestyle for such a long time I never even crave super unhealthy foods anymore.. Just knowing that they will make me very sick (nausea, diarrhea, headaches, blacking out..) the thought of it turns me off. Instead i make my own yolo meal or I have a small treat everyday instead of one big crazy yolo meal.

  52. Kelli M says:

I really can’t wait to try this! My only question is, is this water okay to make and leave in the fridge for a while? About a week or so?

    1. Shawna says:

Oh I’d love to know that as well. I plan to make a big batch but then keep it in mason jars in the freezer. Defrost when I need them. I wonder if thats a good idea :-/

    2. Jerrilynn says:

I wonder the same thing. I made mine last night and the lemon over powers the drink. I am wondering should I let it sit for another day.

    3. JoAnna P says:

On her other detoxifying drink she said to leave for up to 24 hours because you don’t want the fruit to go bad and the nutrients will already be in the water. I would say up to 3 days tops because the fruit will start to break down about then just to be safe. It doesn’t have to exactly that much time because it will vary but 3 days puts you on the safe. Make sure you rinse off your fruit really well though! The problem with just looking at it and seeing if it’s still good is that it’s already cloudy from fruit so you won’t be able to tell the difference if it has any bacterial/fungi growth!

  53. Sabrina.Settimia says:

THIS WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS! There are no words! I’m obsessed now!!!

  54. Ana says:

Does any Popster do weight training (lifting) I really want to start but I don’t know how. Thanks!!

    1. Maggi says:

Hey there! I weight lift at least 3 times a week. My email is marjattamusiikki@hotmail.com if you wanna email me with any questions! Weight lifting has changed my body so much! It’s AMAZING!!

      1. Ana says:

        I emailed you.

  55. dms2 says:

o_O Hope you feel ok again now!
I know what indigestion and feeling bloated is like and I hate it. Whenever I have a huge family meal or whatever I moderate myself to avoid the afterwards consequences. But I’ve never heard about food coma. O_O I remember once my father also passed out after eating too much and having a nap. When he got up he was feeling ill and he just passed out. We got a bad fright! But I guess that was indigestion.

  56. Kay Sutherland says:

Vitamin C is actually ascorbic acid or ascorbate, just a wee thing that was annoying me.

    1. Sabrina says:

Thank you! I was about to post the same thing, but I wanted to see if anyone else noticed it first. Driving me nuts, lol.

  57. Bethany says:

This has been really helpful, thank you so much:)x

  58. Kristine says:

Can’t wait to try this. Funny I was drinking water over the weekend with strawberries… sooo good. I also hurt myself falling backward on thick ice. Any advice how to work around a sore bum for ab workouts? I can’t do a lot of the ones from your videos until heal 100% 🙁

    1. Rosa says:

I’m not doctor but try putting a pillow under your bum and only doing as much as possible or use this time to rest and heal 🙂 hope you feel better soon

  59. Brenda says:

I haven’t passed out from YOLO ing to hard , but I have overslept and felt tired the next day… it feels awful.. 🙁 im going to try the detox water!! it looks refreshing and just wonderful :):):) thanks for sharing the recipe with us POPsters!! ^^

  60. Ana says:

I have yolo’d so bad I have been very sick!! I try to not yolo ever because once I do it I want to eat unhealthy all the time. But the weirdest thing happen to me the other day I had a yolo meal and I wanted more but I didn’t want more. It was like my body was use to eating healthy that it didn’t want anymore sugar ( I just thought I did) can that happen? ALSO I need some help Popsters I have been eating very clean but I haven’t lost any weight I have also been exercising. So why haven’t I lost any weight? But I have also noticed a change in my body I look smaller and more fit.
    PLEASE HELP! thanks!
P.S. Also can anyone that works hard enough get a abs and really how do you get them?

    1. Kristen says:

If you haven’t noticed the number on the scale change but you look and feel better you’re doing everything right! You’re replacing fat with muscle and muscle weights more than fat! Ignore the number. Keep up with eating clean and Cassey’s ab workouts and your abs will show in time! Visible abs has more to do with a low body fat % so they will stay hidden until the weight comes off through cardiovascular exercise.

      1. Ana says:

        Thanks so much!!

    2. Nienke says:

Muscles are heavier than fat but take less space. So if you noticed a change and look smaller and more fit it’s probably because you lost fat but gained muscles. In the end muscles use more energy during the day.

      1. Ana says:

        So help full!!1

    3. KC says:

Muscle is denser than fat. You’re building muscle and losing fat (which is why you’re looking smaller, congrats!), but they weigh the same so you don’t see a difference on the scale. Which is totally fine, btw – body fat % tells you more about your fitness level than weight ever will. To get abs you’ll need to get your body fat % even lower, which means building even more muscle and losing more fat.

And the wanting but not wanting sugar thing – embrace it, it’s good and normal.

      1. Ana says:

Thanks so much!! How do you find out your fat %?? Do I need to go to the Dr.?

  61. I can’t wait to start a detox! As soon as I am done with my deployment, I’ll have access to all of the stuff to finally just be able to CLEANSE my system! I’ve been following you for a couple of years now and I still love reading your updates! Congrats on the shoot!

  62. Kathy says:

I know that feeling too well… I don’t eat clean 100% just because I don’t like vegetables too much. I’m happy and proud that I managed to include more fruits and vegetables into my meat plan and found some recepies I actually love to eat. My family and I always had a lot of potatoes and noodles in our meal plan. Most of the time we don’t even cook. if someone’s hungry we grab a snack (usually spelt bread (we’re allergic to the other flouvers) with something on it like chicken ham and pepper/tomatoes.).
anyway… I was on a journey with uni now and I felt terrible for eating so much sh***! We ate fast food twice, pizza, etc. I felt so bloated and weak. I got even more envious about how thin the legs of my two friends look like after eating. 🙁 I need workout to get leaner claves I guess. it’s all muscles but looks thick.

Last weekend I was at a birthday party and had some cupcakes and potato chips and at night I could hardly sleep and the next day I felt terrible and bloated. Not doing that again.

@Nienke that happens to me too.. whenever i go to a birthday party, there’s nothing healthy to eat… so I decide to have a YOLO meal and tell myself Ill exercise the next day and workout… i see the food in front of me and crave it and at times overeat.. :/ the next day i wake up late and feel tired..and all i want is something healthy , a detox smoothie and lots of water…

  64. Love this! Love your blog!! I’ve just started with blogilates calendar for beginners and I love it so much! Thank you!

    Hi Cassey,

I was wondering, how long should I let the fruits soak in the water before I drink it ?
And another questions… Do you drink all of it in one day?
What do you eat besides (if you do eat something…)? 🙂

    Lots of love from Switzerland!

I’m not an expert, but for my detox water I keep it in overnight, so about 10-12 hours depending on when I take the fruits out. You shouldn’t keep it for too long, but you want to give it enough time to let the nutrients soak into the water.
And I do drink it all in one day, but over time, not all at once, and I eat light but relatively normal meals with it.
      Hope this helped!

Thank you very much! I appreciate a lot. 🙂

Can’t wait to try this out!

I am also loving different flavored detox waters. I always have a ready made pitcher in my fridge. Here is my favorite: Ginger-Mint-Lemon Water. 🙂

Can’t wait to try the water!

I am not eating 100% clean yet because I have just started my fitness journey. I have a lot of cheat snacks during the week, and they make me feel awful, but I’m getting better. :/

  69. Those look so crazy! Yikes, haha. I’ve had food coma but never passed out~I do have a sensitive stomach though, so if I eat a tad bit more than I should I usually end up being sick for days. Like now. 🙁 And this water concoction looks soooo refreshing!

  70. Medallion says:

Cassey, did you eat the entire thing? Wow…I love Hawaiian rolls tho 😀

  71. Leanne says:

That’s so funny omg I’ve never had a food coma but I know how it feels like to YOLO too hard. You enjoy it while you’re having it but after that you feel sluggish and lethargic.

      ikr!! me to!

  72. Zoe says:

I should definitely try this detoxing water! I’vr never had a food comma before, but this is SCARY! Thank you for this post, Cassey! 🙂

I have a question: How long should you let the fruit soak in the water before you drink it (to get all the nutrients out of the fruit first)? Also, how long does it keep? Should I be aiming to drink the whole thing in one day? or just have a glass here and there throughout my day?

    1. Melanie B says:

Oops! Nevermind! I just saw your Feb 3rd post. 🙂 All questions answered there!

Btw, I don’t exactly eat very clean (though I try hard!) but I have a weak liver (and gallstones following my pregnancy!) and one night out with the girls, I YOLO’d so bad that my dinner ended up in the snow RIGHT OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT DOOR!! Terrible feeling. Will never do that again.

  74. Laura Pires says:

    OMG! That was crazy!
I have been following you for a long time already. However, I started to do the workouts only this month (I am following the calendar) and I am loving it! It’s amazing how I fell my body burning – it is the feeling of being alive!
    Congratulations for your work Cassey!
